Loved the greeting with a smile that I received when I walked in by the young man behind the counter. he was totally surprised when I handed him an envelope and explained that I had missed the drop off date. Now I know why this Cafe receives 5 stars, very friendly atmosphere. I will be back!!“

“What a great place to have breakfast or brunch. We are coming from SF to Filoli and were looking for place to eat. This Cafe popped up on the map. And I’m so glad we stopped by. I had the special bagel and my husband had a pastrami sandwich, with mint lemonade and turkey coffee.“

“I went to celebrate my friends birthday. We had a delicious vodka cocktail (actually 2 each!) coconut shrimp and pork belly appetizers. And we're too full for another dish! Except of course a shared dessert. It was sort of like French toast with pistachios as part of the crust. Over blueberries and very light whipped cream. And of course,I forgot to mention the milk bread. (Got one loaf to go to take home to BF who wolfed it down). Super place. Super service. Super food.“

“When it comes down to Mediterranean food, I would fall into Mazra. However, Mazra now has a worthy rival! What's unique about a smaller restaurant like Nomadic Kitchen is that you feel the place more intimated. I like how the owner/manager and server take a great care of us. When we are about to order 4 choices of mezze, the owner/manager said he will take care of the choices for us and give us samples of everything else as well. The result: the beautiful palette of colors and flavors! I was a bit surprised that we got bread rather than pita. Still, it was amazing! We got the grilled lamb, which is quite nice, no hard-to-chew pieces at all. On top of that, the rice and bulgar (I guess) are so delicious with different fragrance and texture. The dishes are well thought out and so healthy as well. This place becomes one of the most amazing Mediterranean restaurants with reasonable prices. I definitely will come back and eat there again.“

Some of the 1 star reviews are fake.

I used buffet/all you can eat. The price is surprisingly good. $35 for one person before tax and tip $45 after tax and tip. It is unlimited snow crab legs and others. Even beer is free.

I am pretty sure the black mussel and clam are fresh. I can taste it. I don’t even need to confirm with servants.

I ended up with three rounds. That speaks for the food quality and taste.

Some reviews say that owner are silly charging more for corn and potato, making customer ended up eating more seafood for buffet. I would say the owner respects sea food.

Taste is not mild, I would say perfect. Oyster is super fresh as well.

Among all the kebabs, the chicken kebab is our fav!

Chicken kebab is our favorite, we ordered many times, and each time is consistently good!

Classic hummus, great, who doesn’t love classic hummus!

The scrambled egg we hope it can be slightly larger in portion, but still very flavorful!

Our table felt intimate — we were sharing a large space with four other tables, appropriately distanced. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Again, all Covid-19 compliant. The food, oh the food! The Dutch baby was perfectly cooked and the fruit fillings were gorgeous. The chicken sandwich was out of this world. The Mimosa and hard apple cider beverages were on point. “Great cheap breakfast spot, the staff are great and the food is good. The food was so cheap I ordered a waffle in addition to my French toast.
They have a nice little bar for single individuals.
The only thing I would change is their French toast uses regular bread. Maybe I had to ask for large Texas toast, which I prefer.“

The vegetable Japchae had perfectly chewy noodles and just enough sauce and veggies. The Bulgogi sandwich was amazing: toasted roll, perfectly cooked beef, lettuce, tomato, and spicy pickled jalapeños for contrast. Everything was filling but not heavy.
