“I showed up, unknowingly, a few minutes after closing time. On finding out that they had just closed, I was about to leave, but the owner, Albert, insisted that I not walk out hungry. He recommended a sandwich, and seated me at a table. I felt taken care of that day.“

“Great experience at MUMU Hot Pot in Emeryville! The quality of the meat was excellent—very fresh, nicely marbled, and perfect for hot pot and grilling. The broth was flavorful, and the dipping sauces were well-balanced. Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was clean and comfortable. Definitely a great spot for a satisfying hot pot meal in the Bay Area. Will be back again!“

“Located on the Bay Street Plaza in Emeryville, on the second floor next to Barnes and Nobles. Saucy Asian is a Korean fusion restaurant. It’s a trendy place and is pretty busy all the way to closing time. We came in today after shopping at the new Tokyo Central across the street for a late dinner. We ordered at 7:58pm and did not receive our food until 8:26pm which was quite long wait for what we ordered. There is some indoor seating as well as outdoor seating.
As for food we ordered:
- Saucy Asian Bowl
- Saucy Asian Fries
- Island Style Poke Bowl (combo: half tuna/half Salmon)
All the food were good, have no complaints, but have had better elsewhere. Overall, if we’re in the mood for their food, we would come back.“

“We had dinner there tonight (3/14/24) for the first time and we will be back. Two of the most interesting and truly delicious sandwiches we have ever eaten. I can't remember what mine was called, but it had chicken (roasted perfectly), sauerkraut, cheese and other awesome stuff on a grilled rye bread that was excellent. My bride had the turkey sandwich and loved it. But the star of the show were the Tater Tots. Perfectly crisp with BBQ sauce to dip them in and then into some wonderful real bacon bits. Every tot stayed crisp from the first to the last. The meal was worth every penny and more. Get into the Alameda location and try it. You won't be sorry. PS: The only bad part for me is that we live in Seattle and won't be back down until May. But you can bet I will be eating here then.“

“Food is great, staff is even better, and the interior of the place is absolutely magical. Drinks are amazing, definitely a must visit for any cocktail historians as the Mai Tai was invented here! (Albeit in their old location on San Pablo which has since been demolished) Overall amazing, and absolutely will come again!“

“Across the board brilliance! From stepping in the door... the lovely woman who was happy to seat us (even tho we had no reservations) to the professional and courteous wait staff (we weren't straight forward and she was so gracious) -- very down home feel--- food was fab. Can't wait to go back!“

“My wife and I visited this spot yesterday to enjoy their Happy Hour. The place is small, but perfect. They have outside seating as well. We sat at the bar. We were immediately greeted warmly.
We ordered the Summer drink and the Peach one (Both found on the menu). We ordered the Original burger with fried egg and avocado. It was delicious. The burger was big, flavorful and everything was cooked how I needed it to be (We shared the burger and small fries. It was enough for 2). We ordered more drinks: Chocolate martini (Not on the menu, but ask for it...so delicious), we had tequila shots and my wife had a Mezcal drink prepared by the bartender (Not on the menu, but it was tasty).
The bartender was funny, accomodating and amazing. So amazing that I did not even know he was the owner!! Lol.. his name is Mike. He such a cool down to earth dude. Like very personable.
I definitely reccomend this spot!“

“Easily, my favorite place to swing by for a breakfast burrito after working out. Cassave is an unassuming place tucked away in a strip mall. They have a nice selection of Mexican and El Salvadorean foods like pupusas. Vegetarians have a couple of options to satiate themselves. Their potatoes are incredible, as is their hot salsa. Enjoy the breezy salsa music while you wait for your food. Highly recommended! Parking is an issue though.“

“Supporting local business in Emeryville. Note that this place is on Christie opposite to FedEx, not inside the public market.
The noodles, while not the best pho in the bay area, they are decent. Both noodles they served came with delicious broth. Unlike many pho places, these didn't leave you with a dry mouth. Wish their beef can be softer and more tendered - that's the only (but critical) place to lose shine. You know - always room for improvement. Can't wait to come back and try their banh mi.“

“Chinatown can be a daunting place to dine in San Francisco due to its vast authentic cuisine which is unlike anything outside of China itself. I don’t speak or read any of the dialect, but somehow managed to order food and drink that was delicious. I’m pretty sure that we created much amusement for the other diners who were rather interested in the ‘foreigners’ selections. Hey, we’re tourists from the UK enjoying our adventures and are used to ridicule thanks to our lousy corrupt government, it was no big deal. Chinatown, great cuisine in very different surroundings. Highly recommended.“

“Service is quick. The grab and go salads are phenomenal. Variety of beverages in their fridge, everything from juices, seltzers, protein shakes, teas low calorie options. Be sure to check out their specials and soups. Had the chicken and vegs soup because i was under the weather and it was like a home styled chicken noodle soup (without noodles). Great low calorie option. They had a special on chicken marsala and it was soooo good.
They have a large menu to chose from for different dietary needs.
Absolutely love their green smoothie and breakfast burritos!“

“Really nice place. The food is really good and nice big portions. The servers are really friendly and the cook (Nayeli) is amazing and super accommodating with our order.“
“Really yummy, good portions that justify the price, and great variety of Japanese dishes. Also a good selections of add ones for most dishes and al la carte options. Not a lot of restaurants like this anymore and hope this place sticks around in Public Market. I highly suggest the Katsu Chicken Curry Udon w/Sunny Up egg. I think it’s one of the better value dishes.“

“The people are awesome, the food is awesome, the menu is huge. The only thing I hate about Ike’s is how few locations they have. They need to be everywhere, on every corner, like Subway.
Vegetarian options: I’m not a vegetarian, but they have plenty of options for vegetarians.“

“Excellent curry tikka masala tho I was looking for something more like coconut chicken I guess. Maybe he has that. They have all the spices down. The onion naan was served hot from the tandoor and is fluffy and joyous, saving some for later.“

“This place has been around since I was a young kid at Emery Middle School in 2003. Good times. I used to always come here with friends and eat food, it’s really good! Having returned to the Bay Area recently, I wanted to see if the place was the same as when I used to come there mind you the economy was better in the 2000s. Their food is really good and the tacos I had with carne asada were amazing! The horchata as well. I recommend this place. California has the best Mexican food! Truly“

“Pizza Amigos makes my favorite pizza in town. The crust is soft and fluffy, and the have the best pepperoni I have ever had. My go to pie is pepperoni and green onion. They make it consistently great every time. The service is always a little slow when we go to pick up our order, but the pizza is well worth the wait, everytime.“
