My (now) wife and I spent over a year planning our wedding weekend and Rob, Rachel, and, of course, Chef Nate, were there for us every step of the way. First, the food: It is 5-stars, no joke. I am a “foodie” and a bit of a self-admitted food snob. Honestly, I would drive an hour daily to Encino to eat in their test kitchen 7 days a week if they would let me. Even now, three weeks after our wedding, our guests continue to rave to me about the food (pro tip: you NEED to serve the mini chicken and waffles appetizer). Trust me when I tell you that their execution was flawless and the quality was exquisite. Second, the people: You will not find a more invested, passionate, and sincere team of individuals who love what they do and are so good at it. They are unbelievably responsive, overly generous with their time, extremely attentive to detail and endlessly patient. Without a doubt, we can say that thanks to Contemporary our wedding day was perfect and we are so grateful to everyone on the team. Rob and his team provided so much more value than I ever thought possible. We will ALWAYS refer Contemporary to our friends, families, and loved ones in need of wedding catering and, personally, we can’t wait to work with them again to cater other events in our future! I picked up the French Girl from the secret lunch menu and a box of Lady Crackers.
The sando was easily the top 2 french ham & cheese style baguettes that I have had outside of Paris. The spread gives it a nice sweet hint that is unconventional but very welcomed.
There is also an Inciardi Print vending machine. If you acquire the Lady Crackers print then you get a free box of Lady Crackers.“

“I recently had an event and Social Paella catered it. They were very professional, timely, easy to work with. They arrived at my event with a team of people, the food presentation was beautiful and they kept to the schedule perfectly and as planned. Days later, my guests are still talking about how delicious the food was. The tapas appetizers were all amazing, and the paella was probably one of the best I have ever had (even the ones we have eaten in Spain). I would hire them for every event if I could. “I am from Philadelphia,Pa. I come from an area with very good Italian food and I worked for an Italian Market in Warminster. The Bruschetta was meticulous and delicious, my wife had the Picatta and I had a Calzone. Pasta was perfectly to the tooth. The chicken tender and flavorful. My Calzone (I make my own and have eaten them all over) was exceptional and the sauce was fresh and lovely spotlight on the tomato. On my list for returning and highly recommended if you like Nonna-style Italian food!!!!“

“This place is AMAZING FOR A QUICK LUNCH! It’s not “cheap” at about 16 for the plate for buffet but it makes all that and some with the flavor. You won’t get table service and all that jazzz here they’ll make sure you have enough Nan on the table and let you do your thing, I love it. “We have been working with Haute Chefs LA for at least 9 years!
Haute Chefs are always the first on my list when I have to cater a dinner or event.

Their prices are incredibly reasonable for everything you get, but lets be honest, we're here to talk about their food. Their food is always delicious and portions VERY generous. Their presentation is also something you can't forget about, we eat with our eyes first.

They have also become very conscientious of people's dietary needs over the years that I never have trouble finding gluten-free or vegan options on their menu for those with dietary restrictions.

I was going to list some of my personal favorites, but then the list got very long. However, you can't go wrong with their roasted cauliflower, steak & shrimp. Their charcuterie & cheese board is also very beautiful and delicious with the freshest in-season fruits. Their menu has something for everyone, and they are willing to take any other adjustment should you need them for one reason or another.

Having had an Italian Chef for a Father, I grew up being able to tell good Italian flavors from a simple dish like Meatballs and Sauce (gravy)! Both were excellent from Sugo!
