“The food is really very good, and I'm not the only one who thinks so as evidenced by the fact that the place is packed every time we walk through the door. They have a wide variety of Japanese food on the menu, in addition to the regular staples of a sushi bar. The best part is, it's really reasonably priced. I believe that they have other locations, as well. I highly recommend Cho Cho San.Thank you see you next time ??“

“Easily the best vegan ramen I’ve ever had. It has a really rich, savory broth, which is a nice change of pace since vegan broth is usually a watered down afterthought at most places. It comes fully loaded with mushrooms and hashbrowns (??!?) but you can add additional veggies or an egg if youre feeling it. Very simple menu but they execution is 1000/10!“

“Dee did such an incredible job. She was very polite and professional. She was super attentive and overall helpful. Definitely would come earlier in the day as the dinner period can get a bit loud but regardless a very benevolent experience!“

“I was totally satisfied when we decided to go for a quick dinner at this ramen place in San Gabriel near the Hilton Hotel. I ordered the spicy ramen and it was sooo good. Love the spicy ingredients along with the thick noodles. 😋 My friends had the Tonkotsu instead. Both dishes are good. Would love to try the other dishes in the menu as well. 🍜😍“

“Tsujita La Artisan Noodle Annex is the best Dipping Ramen ( Tsukemen ) in LA , closest noodles I’ve felt in Japan. Here the noodles are thick and springy, they kept separate from garlicky and flavorful broth to maintain the chewable. It’s perfect for me!“

“Friendly staff, the japanese lady was very friendly too, i love the food very tasty , Agedashi tofu was really good, fried tempura was ok but i dont like the dipping sauce better if they use the original sauce for tempura, i like the chicken curry it has a different twist but tasty and good.
Overall all really good experience ❤️❤️“

“I really loved this place! A little bit on the pricey side of ramen, but definitely worth it for the price! I don’t usually go for tonkotsu ramen, but this actually tasted like a ramen place in Japan. In reminded me of the food I had there years ago! Ordering outside also reminded me of ordering food in japan and it even hands you a “ticket” (your receipt) like as if you were getting a food ticket in Japan! Absolutely love! The service was really great with it being relatively quick and very nice. I will definitely be coming back more times and even want to try their $30 Kotoya Ramen! There was not a lot of parking available for its patrons with only parking in the neighborhood or street parking on a fairly busy street, but for a weekend lunch, it was fairly easy to get a street parking.“

“I have been coming here with my family for years. The service is always great. The ramen is delicious. My favorite is the miso ramen. My husband’s favorite is the shoyu ramen. The gyoza is also worth trying, crispy and flavorful. If you visit, be sure to get the tofu salad, it’s so refreshing and tasty.
Vegetarian options: The tofu salad is vegetarian, but other than that, I’m not sure they have much in terms of vegetarian options, but you could ask.
Parking: It’s in a small shopping center with a small parking lot. The lot is often full, but there is paid street parking nearby.“

“Best Ramen I’ve ever had! The flavor of the broth was simply beyond! Bursting with silky layers of rich umami flavor. Delivered piping HOT! Both the mild and spicy tonkotsu delivered! The pork belly was cooked to perfection , melting in your mouth and not overly “fatty”. The egg was super jammy, cooked perfectly. I literally could go on and on.
Mango sticky Rice was devoured by my husband. The bite I asked for was top notch!
I can’t believe I have the best Ramen in California JUST UP THE STREET!!!“
“My local ramen spot in Valley Glen, Los Angeles, California on the border of Van Nuys and neighboring North Hollwood. Ramen Izakaya is great from take out or dine with a plethora of beverage options as well as eats. Available through doordashz grubhub and ubereats this small chain biz has an incredible creamy vegan ramen, spicy lemon grass ramen, veggie spring rolls, tofu nuggets, shishito peppers, edamame, rice bowls, salads, soups and lots of traditional Japanese and ramen dishes that will please your taste buds times two. They have some decent outdoor seating, but incredibly indoor and a huge parking lot in back. The service is always good and usually very personable. A unique Japanese cuisine eatery with some LA Valley flavor and modern plant-based flare.“

“I would usually have to go down to Sawtelle in order to get good ramen, not the case anymore. The Ramen here is on point. I got the Spicy Tonkotsu with a side of black garlic oil. the noodles are the perfect thickness. The soft boiled egg was actually soft boiled!!!The tonkotsu broth was perfect. This will be my new regular spot for ramen.“

“As much as I love tonkotsu ramen, the curry ramen at Menya Tigre was a delicious change of pace. Between the hearty, flavorful broth, the refreshingly simple toppings, and as much spicy fried garlic as my heart desired, I left plenty satisfied.“

“The ramen was delicious and a very decent portion.
I paid about 18$ for the veggie ramen.
Service was also friendly.
The place had a very pleasant atmosphere and cool decor.
There are restrooms here, but no wifi.
The food is brought to you and makes a very fresh impression.“

“Really solid ramen for a chain place. I like the Blaze, just the right amount of spicy. The chicken karage is also particularly good, and is an option for the combo meal. The music is usually too loud but the service is always fast and the food good.
Vegetarian options: Menu items labeled vegetarian, and they do have a vegetarian ramen.
Parking: There’s a lot but it belongs to all the places in the shopping center so it can be crowded.“

“I never leave reviews, but as someone who loves sushi and has eaten at most of the restaurants and hole in the walls in the valley — this place is hands down at the top. The atmosphere isn’t fancy, more casual, but the happy hour deal and the quality of the food is solid. The staff couldn’t be nicer and more lovely. Highly recommend giving it a shot for a casual date night or if you’re craving some solo sushi time :)“

“An amazing dining at Silverlake Ramen! Every dish was packed with flavor, and the overall vibe was fantastic. I still got to try their whole menu, but here's my first picks for chicken lovers:
Edamame – Fresh, lightly salted, and a decent starter.
Crispy Chicken Karaage – Super crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside—an absolute must-try!
Spicy Chicken Bun – Perfectly soft bun with a great balance of heat and crispy tendered chicken.
Broccolini Sesame sauce - Fresh and light side, goes great with Ramen.
Shoyu on Fire Ramen – Rich, fiery flavorful broth with just the right amount of spice (request for spice sauce additionally) complemented by perfectly cooked noodles. Vegetables are well boiled and fresh with the soup.
Sapporo Beer – A refreshing japanese beer pairing with the meal perfectly.
Cleanliness is required on tables, chairs and floor as there was lot of spillage. Will be visiting again to try more from their menu.“

“Really first rate OG Japanese ramen. Includes varieties like curry, laksa, and tomato ramen that are out of this world. Appetizers are well made and diverse ( e.g. squid tentacles, chicken gristle). Very welcoming staff. A real winner all round.“

“Hidden gem. Noticeably high quality ingredients and great service. Even my Korean mom, who is germaphobic and difficult to impress, enjoyed her meal very much. Will be coming here again.
We ordered the oyster/uni (!), the baked scallop roll (!), the chirashi bowl, the sea cucumber, and the spicy japan scallop roll. Everything tasted fantastic and we didn't leave a single grain of rice.
In my opinion, it's rare to encounter Japanese food in America that I end up loving. Every raw ingredient looked and tasted fresh. Uni here was creamy, the green tea was well-steeped, and the sesame seeds on the spicy japan roll were aromatic.
I highly recommend that you come here for a special occasion or whenever you crave extremely FRESH Japanese food.“

“I’ve been to Orochon, Daikokuya, Killer Noodle, many other Ramen spots in LA; Nishi is by far the best I’ve had! The broth is extremely flavorful and the Spicy Miso bowl has a great kick to it.Highly recommend, owner was trained by the HiroNori founders. Probably something there that has to do with it.“
“Very good food options. Mee Dee Thai Chicken and Maxwell Chicken Rice are delicious! Will have to try Kotsu Ramen and Akafuji Sushi next time.“

“While the ramen is quite good, try their other non-ramen offerings. Katsu curry rice is very good here (katsu pork was prepared perfectly and curry flavorful) as well as their gyudon (beef over rice). Service as fast, friendly and attentive and the dining area was very clean. Value for the meal is excellent especially for West LA! Cannot recommend enough!“

“Nice intimate dinner spot for friends or a date. I ordered the Bento box dinner combo with 3 sides for around $30 a person. (Depends on how many premium sides you pick. Sushi is a few bucks more) Comes with miso soup, salad, and steamed rice. I chose the salmon teriyaki, salmon avocado roll, and golden crunch roll. Fresh fish and hot soup. Overall 10/10 value and flavor. ✨️
Vegetarian options: Vegan ramen and sushi available.
Parking: Turn right to enter the parking garage
There's also more parking on the second level.“
