“My wife & I have been eating at The Broken Yolk Cafe in Irvine for several years now and we absolutely love the delicious food and the wonderful service, particularly via our regular server Alicia. She has such a positive attitude and shares our love of dogs. She always makes sure to bring our dog Maizie a bowl of water and a pup cup whenever we go there. I cannot recommend this Broken Yolk location and Alicia enough.“

“HI, I have to be honest. I was trying to find a way to contact Flappy Jacks as I have a proposition I think would be perfect for Flappy Jacks I have what is probably a bit of an unusual idea. Or maybe just a good idea. I know it is an unusual way to contact you but there was no email address. So I hope this works. I am from Columbia Missouri and I am visiting my Son, Grand Kids, and family there, just a few blocks to the East of Tustin. I am a musician, part time, and I like to street busk (play music on the streets) for grins. I noticed your nostalgic decor and your Elvis statues and the mural featuring the St Louis Arch, which is in Missouri on the Mississippi, of course, where I am from, and the 1930s, 40s and 50s nostalgia, and I wondered if you ever considered, or entertained the notion of having a little nostalgic live music, every now and then, perhaps even if only just once as an experiment. I just happen to play that old classic blues from that era, mostly, at least in this capacity, as Mr. Fletcher's One Man Blues Band. And I thought we might make a pretty good match up. As I said, at least, as an experiment. You can check me out at Facebook "Keith Fletcher, musician." Though most of that music is from my original music shows, and not my one man blues sets. I noticed you had a nice patio area where I could play outside and it might be a nice treat for your customers to have a bit of entertainment, just for a change of pace. They might really appreciate it since they obviously like your atmosphere. I don't play loud music. Unless folks want that, but I prefer to play soft. Or at least in situations like this. I've been the house band for BBQ joints and restaurants on several occasions. So I am familiar with the proper decorum. Mostly I was just looking for a little music adventure in CA within a walking distance of my Son's house, where I could carry a very tiny amp about the size of a cracker box, and my guitar to a gig. I thought maybe about just doing a street gig but saw your venue and something seemed to click. I hope you think so too. I estimate you are about a mile walking distance from his house and I only need an electrical plug. And probably some cool beverages. Like I said, I'm mostly in it for a small musical adventure, and so will play for tips, though, maybe you can pay me with free cold beverages, especially if it is hot, and maybe a sandwich or meal depending on how long I am there. It all looks delicious to me. If you find you'd like to host me again, and want me back, that might be possible over the week, and I may be back for the Christmas holiday. I might even be able to talk my Son into bringing the kids and family. Could be a total bust, or could be a very nice thing, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Who knows? If it worked out well enough for both of us, you might even want to do it again sometime, Maybe even offer some kind of fee next time, if there is a next time. Life is an adventure. You / we, might stumble onto something good. If you would like to give it a whirl, what day and time would you think is good to catch a crowd? Their burritos are consistently delicious and satisfying, and they offer a variety of options to customize your meal to your liking. I usually add chipotle inside, and the avocado spread is also a great choice. There’s also a location in Long Beach on 7th Street. Everyone at work loves a Ham n Scram breakfast burrito!“

“Some people go to Anaheim for Disneyland, but I go for Atticus. I drive 2hrs each way just for the food. You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu, but my favorites are the chilaquiles, cafe de olla, and pancakes. I've tried so many places in San Diego and L.A., and none compare to the flavors here. We LOVE Atticus!!!“

“Discovered Harry's over 20 years ago, when we lived nearby. While the Spires across the street has now turned into Goldenwest, glad Harry's is still there. Always enjoyed the pork chop and eggs breakfast but everything was good, great portions and reasonable prices, good coffee and great service. Moved away but miss our favorite breakfast spot, still!“

The tortilla almost seems homemade. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful. The orange juice is freshly squeezed and delicious. Came down from the bay area to try them out. Going back for more. **Update, they open early, so if you are going to Disney, then this place is right down the street, just map it. Always great soft moist donuts. Vietnamese coffee, great and you can ask for it even stronger. Ask for the secret sauce. Low quantities of donuts at 11:00 am.“

On my last visit, I had a slight mishap in the parking lot. When we came in, Lulu took us quickly to a nearby booth. She was our server, and was wonderful! So very kind and helpful. The manager, Mauro, came over to me with an ice pack, which was very thoughtful and caring. Their food is fantastic, very delicious! Several members of the staff remember us and are so friendly!
