“What a wonderful brunch. We shared the breakfast platter and it was plenty for three people! Well we did have a couple of extras like a spinach boreck and an extra Simit!
Not only is the food wonderful, but the service and the beautiful personalities of the owner and her son and everybody working there was delightful.

She has such a positive attitude and shares our love of dogs. She always makes sure to bring our dog Maizie a bowl of water and a pup cup whenever we go there. I cannot recommend this Broken Yolk location and Alicia enough.“

Or maybe just a good idea. I know it is an unusual way to contact you but there was no email address. So I hope this works. I am from Columbia Missouri and I am visiting my Son, Grand Kids, and family there, just a few blocks to the East of Tustin. I am a musician, part time, and I like to street busk (play music on the streets) for grins. I noticed your nostalgic decor and your Elvis statues and the mural featuring the St Louis Arch, which is in Missouri on the Mississippi, of course, where I am from, and the 1930s, 40s and 50s nostalgia, and I wondered if you ever considered, or entertained the notion of having a little nostalgic live music, every now and then, perhaps even if only just once as an experiment. I just happen to play that old classic blues from that era, mostly, at least in this capacity, as Mr. Fletcher's One Man Blues Band. And I thought we might make a pretty good match up. As I said, at least, as an experiment. You can check me out at Facebook "Keith Fletcher, musician." Though most of that music is from my original music shows, and not my one man blues sets. I noticed you had a nice patio area where I could play outside and it might be a nice treat for your customers to have a bit of entertainment, just for a change of pace. They might really appreciate it since they obviously like your atmosphere. I don't play loud music. Unless folks want that, but I prefer to play soft. Or at least in situations like this. I've been the house band for BBQ joints and restaurants on several occasions. So I am familiar with the proper decorum. Mostly I was just looking for a little music adventure in CA within a walking distance of my Son's house, where I could carry a very tiny amp about the size of a cracker box, and my guitar to a gig. I thought maybe about just doing a street gig but saw your venue and something seemed to click. I hope you think so too. I estimate you are about a mile walking distance from his house and I only need an electrical plug. And probably some cool beverages. Like I said, I'm mostly in it for a small musical adventure, and so will play for tips, though, maybe you can pay me with free cold beverages, especially if it is hot, and maybe a sandwich or meal depending on how long I am there. It all looks delicious to me. If you find you'd like to host me again, and want me back, that might be possible over the week, and I may be back for the Christmas holiday. I might even be able to talk my Son into bringing the kids and family. Could be a total bust, or could be a very nice thing, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Who knows? If it worked out well enough for both of us, you might even want to do it again sometime, Maybe even offer some kind of fee next time, if there is a next time. Life is an adventure. You / we, might stumble onto something good. If you would like to give it a whirl, what day and time would you think is good to catch a crowd? The staff are so humble and they make you feel that you are at home,, my daughters and I visited his restaurant Sunday the 16th around 11 Ish the place it was already busy and we were party of eight kind of big party, but this sweet girl with all the respect was able to accommodate us even on a busy day and pretty much she always was paying attention to our table for any needs, unfortunately, I didn’t have a chance to get her name to add it on this review but overall this place is good delicious and I will definitely go back over and over again“

“I’ve been here for breakfast but did you know they also have lunch options too?!!! I was excited to try them since I love all their breakfast stuff and I was definitely happy! Everything I had was 😋 yummy! They also had these canned popping boba drinks and that was a nice surprise, I got the Lychee one and would definitely buy it again.

The tortilla almost seems homemade. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful. The orange juice is freshly squeezed and delicious. Came down from the bay area to try them out. Going back for more. **Update, they open early, so if you are going to Disney, then this place is right down the street, just map it. Always great soft moist donuts. “I live in AZ and come to Santa Ana to visit my daughter & her husband. We always come here for breakfast during my visit. We love this restaurant! On my last visit, I had a slight mishap in the parking lot. When we came in, Lulu took us quickly to a nearby booth. She was our server, and was wonderful! So very kind and helpful. The manager, Mauro, came over to me with an ice pack, which was very thoughtful and caring. Their food is fantastic, very delicious! Several members of the staff remember us and are so friendly! Will be going again very soon!“

“Honestly, I felt really bad walking in literally as soon as they opened but surprisingly I was treated and welcomed in with a smile!
You do have to wait outside tho so they can find a table for you, please make sure to leave your name in the paper with the exact number of group that you have if you have one.
The maximum group amount there is 6 since it's a smaller cafe/brunch restaurant.
I got sat down very fast the wait wasn't even a minute.
My server Lukas (with a K) was very helpful and friendly, the host as well was checking on me every once in a while along side Lukas. Great smile, great customer service.
I got the Bukowski Combo with turkey bacon (since I cannot eat bacon) which I was surprised they had to be honest +1 bonus points! I'm also very happy with the fact that the potato's are grilled not friend which is very easy on the stomach specially this early, I personally should've asked for it extra well but that's for next time! Eggs got them over easy which was SO DELICIOUS I might add. This was my first ever time trying the turkey bacon and it did not disappoint.
I also did get a black coffee but I drank that after the food.
Overall 11/10 experience, I will definitely be back.“

“I was in the area for work and decided to stop in for breakfast. There was no wait—I was seated right away and had my drink in front of me within minutes. I ordered the Hobo Omelet with home fries (topped with onions and peppers) and white toast.

Service was fast and friendly, which made for a great start to the day. The omelet was delicious, with a nice, even mix of ingredients throughout. The home fries were a generous portion and perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crispy edges and flavorful peppers and onions. The toast was nicely browned, buttery, and served with both strawberry and grape jelly—though strawberry is always the clear winner in my book.

Overall, it was a great breakfast spot, and I definitely plan on coming back to try more of the menu!“
