“This little bag was almost $30. I was so skeptical about the quantity and quality of the contents.
The first thing I pulled out was the overstuffed pastrami sandwich. It was dense and heavy. Well worth the price.
The Chili cheese fries with Pastrami, OMG!
I sat it on my lap, but it was piping hot, and I had to immediately pick it up. Pastrami spilled all over the bag when I opened the box. And it not only looked good, it was delicious!
There was only one person in the store when I arrived at about 11:30 a.m. I quickly learned that phone orders is the pro tip. As I waited for my order a steady stream of people picked up thier food, none looked like delivery services. The place is clean, bare bones with no seating.
This place has been on my list for a while.
It was well worth the detour.“

Sylvia always makes us as clients feel welcome and she knows our preferences, as the moment I walk in she is already pouring my favorite spirit and ordering my favorite dish! “I came across Playa Provisions when in town for business. It was a short Uber from the airport, so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is an absolute gem! It is a unique setup that has everything you'd possibly need from morning until late at night: Cafe in the front for coffee and fresh baked good, as well as full breakfast menu. Later in the heat of the afternoon, take a break from the beach (right across the street) and enjoy hand scooped specialty ice cream cones and shakes. Oh look, it's dinner time... and Playa Provisions opens their dining room and bar, some of the best, most relaxed ambience you'll find for miles around. But don't let the casual setting fool you, this is some incredible, elevated cuisine. Chef owners Nick and Brooke (who you might recognize) crafted a menu that's I've been eating my way through, and have yet to find a dish that's not delicious. You've been eating and drinking all day, and are exhausted? Don't leave yet! Wander into the back 'secret' whiskey bar, (Grain Whiskey Bar) and enjoy hand crafted cocktails from award winning bartenders (no, literally), in a gorgeous wood laden atmosphere. I consider myself a foodie, and try as many different restaurants and cuisines as I can. And yet, Playa Provisions remains my favorite restaurant in LA (and that's saying something, considering the amazing places in LA). Run, don't walk, to Playa Provisions. You'll thank me.“

The red onion focaccia bread with herb and Parmesan butter, added Burrata - best- seller, a must. The 3 day brined smoked fried chicken-different taste, with soy and Chiles, a must!!!The Peruvian pork belly with sweet potato , Criolla and crispy quinoa , love it! And the Grilled NY steak with green garlic chimichurri, chorizo aioli and pommes pont neuf, thick cut fries…my son prefers over the fried chicken.“

“Our flight from LAX all of a sudden was delayed for 5 hours past its original departure time. Instead of becoming sitting lumps we wanted to go to the beach and grab a quick dinner. And the Strand didn't disappoint at all. As we watched the Cali Sunset from our seats the Fall vibes were in the drinks, apps, and THE branzino is one of the BEST we,ve had! And those rolls whew! Very tasty. It's the perfect distance of quality beach & food. And we made it back to LAX just in time for our delayed flight.“

“Went for special holiday meal. Food was delicious. Probably the tastiest chopped chicken liver I've ever tasted. Fabulous brisket, potato pancakes, noodle kugel. Service was extremely good. The server helped make the evening fun. Terrific cocktails helped too. Will eagerly come back to the restaurant for brunch and dinner.“

“I don't even know where to begin... Two Hommes is an absolute GEM! My dad and I went last night, and from start to finish, it was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Every single dish was perfection. We ordered the Root Beer Braised Short Rib, Chilean Sea Bass, Garlic Noodles with Bebere Shrimp, and a side of Herb Lamb Chops and honestly, every bite showcased the chefs' incredible skill and artistry. You can truly taste the craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into every plate! The service was immaculate, and our server Nia went above and beyond. She was warm, attentive, and had excellent recommendations including the Suya Plantain Cake for dessert, which was absolutely unbelievable. Even though we didn't have drinks this time, everything else was so outstanding that we're already planning to return next month (we're visiting from PA!). Lastly, the ambience was lovely. Sophisticated yet cozy, with a vibe that makes you want the moment to never end. If you're in California and haven't been yet, GO. Don't walk, RUN. This place deserves all the praise. Every dish, every detail, every moment was pure magic!“

“This is a common spot for me to come with my family or significant other. I tend to always have a good or spectacular experience. Tonight, was no exception. Despite the bad service I encountered with one of my servers, Jen ( Manager) was able to correct the bad experience and rectify the problem. She made a night that could have possibly gone downhill into a night that became memorable as my partner and I were celebrating a special occasion.“

Starting with the welcoming staff at the entrance. John, your hospitality is the beginning of the joyful experience. The restaurant is so elegant. We enjoyed the vaulted ceilings with wood beams. We enjoyed the large window at the kitchen area so you can see the Chefs at work. We got to sit next to the impressive wine rack display. The restaurant’s ambiance wouldn’t be complete without the soft background music. Our waiter, Issac, was a delight. He provided us with his expertise in choosing our wines, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. It was a pleasure to meet to give special thanks to the Chef, Danny Le and Su Chef, Donald. “Dined here this evening. We enjoyed some Cocktails to start then ordered Beef Tartare, Shrimp with Veg and Roasted Carrots. Entrees varied from Pasta to Ribeye steak and Burger. All delicious. The Carbonara needed more bacon but that was the only issue. Desserts were great. The Espresso wasn’t hot enough for my guest but overall we enjoyed the evening celebrating a birthday. Will recommend to my friends for sure. Would recommend a reservation as it was very busy by the time we left at 6.30 pm“

Very expensive at $500 per night, used the 2 $10 free tickets at bar for 2 drinks and still owed $8.36. This was the host hotel and stayed 2 nights Fri/Sat July 22-23, 2022, with hamburger & soup in room, total $1100. T.“

“It was such a lovely venture out for my Mom’s birthday, on Friday. Alex and Dominique (management) are quite lovely, and helped make our dining experience all the more, a joy! Love the new additions to the menu, particularly the Mini Steak French Dips. The Chicken Parmesan was excellent with the twist of those ‘pepper-like sweet’ tomatoes.
