Went to many wineries while visiting Sonoma, and Loxton was by far the stand out within our group. Excited to drink Loxton wines for years to come. Highly recommend adding a stop here to your list.”

“Saying that Flour and Bloom “made” our cake is about as understated as saying Michelangelo “made” the David. Working with Ora Beth was everything. About a month before the wedding, she hosted us in their tasting room, where we enjoyed one delectable bite after another. Ora Beth conducted the tasting much like the hosts at all the surrounding wineries, telling us about the contents and flavors of each sample. As delicious as the tasting was, it could not have prepared us for how magnificent the wedding cake would be. Flour and Bloom delivered the cake to the venue and set it up for a nominal charge given the stress associated with that endeavor. Only the bride shined brighter than the cake in the eyes of our guests, and each piece led to exclamations of “oohs” and “ahhs” from everyone. If you are thinking about who to hire for your wedding, stop! Hire Flour and Bloom and move to the next thing on your list.”

“Our group enjoyed the biodynamic tractor ride. Darryl was our driver/ host and he was so knowledgeable, he made it very entertaining. We throughly enjoyed every wine in the tasting. Out of our trip including 6 wineries we all picked Benziger the best for presentation, experience, and tasting. We will definitely be back!”

“This winery experience far exceeded our expectations! The facilities were lovely and the grounds were well tended, with gorgeous flowers everywhere. Our host, Christina was informative and friendly, sharing wine knowledge AND local facts and lore. That really added to our experience. Sipping wine while overlooking the vines was an experience we will not soon forget. Christina was so great that we tried to get her to join us, but she was professional to the last sip. Been here before and it's uneven in certain respects and good in others.

The good:

Justin the barkeep our first visit is fantastic! Worth going to hang with as my bartender if I was local.

I loved the hand cut potato chips. And the well grilled beyond burger was prepared really well with lots of char. Yum.

The salads were solid and worth getting.

The beer selection worked for both me (reds/ambers) and my partner (bitter IPAs). Good job.

Good locals. Very enjoyable time. Nice vibe

bartender...clueless... multiple mistakes... food order back and forth. Constantly running back and forth to the kitchen.

Rude clientele...not locals.

Will be back our next time. Hope for a more evening performance.”

“LaSalette was a fantastic experience. The restaurant is beautiful both inside and outside, with a warm, charming atmosphere that’s perfect for a date or a small family gathering. I came on a Thursday evening, and it had a relaxed, welcoming vibe.

I ordered the Portuguese-style chicken with Spanish rice, and it was delicious. The flavors were authentic, well balanced, and the portion was just right.

The staff were kind, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. I highly recommend LaSalette if you’re visiting Sonoma and looking for a memorable dining experience.”

“Good food and good service. The outdoor seating however is the stupidest set up I've ever seen at a restaurant. The tables are so mini and short, that you drop food off your fork before it reaches your mouth, due to the reach down, and the chairs are terrible uncomfortable. They're are hard and small. I understand the chairs and tables are cute but, really need replaced with something more practical and more comfortable for customers. They even have plants on the patio that poke you while you're trying to eat.”

The sweet corn tamale appetizers were surprising and flavorful, and the grilled avocado tostados fabulous! On beautiful grounds with fresh produce growing beside the restaurant. Staff was friendly and efficient. Just a great experience!”
