“We are visiting from the Philly area and found ourselves at Jack London two nights in a row. The bartender, Ian, was excited to see us back and had lots of recommendations for the area. We got the chicken pesto sandwich and the pulled pork. Both were amazing!!! Highly recommend if you are in Glen Ellen!“

“Ate there for the first time yesterday and can't wait to go back. We're vegetarian but had no trouble finding incredible offerings. The mushroom/leek risotto was the best I've had. The sweet corn tamale appetizers were surprising and flavorful, and the grilled avocado tostados fabulous! On beautiful grounds with fresh produce growing beside the restaurant. Staff was friendly and efficient. Just a great experience!“

It was a busy Friday evening, but the manager found us a place to sit at the bar within about 10 minutes, and apologized for the wait (which was totally unnecessary). I had the surf and turf daily special and my wife had the filet medallions. We shared the butterscotch pudding for dessert, which I would highly recommend. The staff was attentive and the kitchen cooked our steaks to perfection. Highly recommend eating here if you’re in St. Helena“

I ate a Benedict, beat salad, chicory salad, and burger. All phenomenally fresh.

“WOW - a friend recommended this place for the playground with our young children. While the playground was incredible and made us feel less bad for dragging out kids wine tasting, the service was also SO GOOD! the food was great and well priced and the natural wines were wonderful. Highly highly recommend if you're traveling that way with kids!“

“I stopped at Bloom Carneros for lunch while my guests were out wine tasting, and it turned out to be a great find. I ordered the baby back ribs and overall the meal was very good. The kung pao sauce leaned a bit on the familiar side flavor-wise, but still paired nicely with the dish. The fries were extra crispy, which if that is your thing (and it definitely is mine), you will love them.

The staff was warm and friendly, and the whole spot has an interesting, almost hidden feel. It is the kind of place you might only know about if you are local or if someone told you to exit off Sonoma Highway. The outdoor area has a relaxed picnic-style vibe that really makes it stand out.

I look forward to stopping here again in the future and trying more of their menu.“

“You get a chill vibe and good food here; a big plus is that most items are gluten free, something thar should be highlighted more prominently! Word to the wise: we ordered the Cesar salad with chicken, which said it is made with “local lettuces.” On the day we went, the lettuce was radicchio. Ugh, a whole salad with radicchio, not your typical Cesar. The chicken on it was perfectly cooked, the dressing not really a Cesar dressing, but unique and decent. But if you’re expecting endive or little gems with your Cesar, as most Cesar salads are made with, you’d be wise to ask what the “local lettuces” are, as the radicchio was an odd choice and fairly tough. Thankfully, the BLT with a gluten free bun was sublime and worth a trip back!“

“We let them know we were coming up to celebrate our anniversary and were greeted with "Happy Anniversary " and then when we were seated and handed menus, we saw that we had special menus that said "Happy Anniversary " on them. We were given complementary rose sparkling wine. We were treated like royalty and the food was outstanding as always. It is unfortunate that they will be closing at the end of December. “Had lunch there today. I had a French dip sandwich made of prime rib.. I had the sandwich, packed with prime rib, plus au jus. The fun was crispy, but not ready. As a side, they provided tater tots, which I happen to love. I asked if I could also have a side of coleslaw, which was delicious and was added without charge. It was about the best French dip that I’ve ever had in 67 years. The bun was crispy, but not heavy. Dipped into the au jus, it was heaven.They are good hearted people, and they should be patronized.“

“Great neighborhood spot with plenty of space and awesome live music! This place has fantastic character with walls covered in vintage concert posters and music memorabilia. The spacious back patio is perfect for hanging out, and there's a charming front porch for a more intimate vibe. They have pool tables, a popcorn machine, and best of all—a great stage with regular live music. The whole vibe is laid-back and eclectic. Definitely worth checking out!“
