“Kai Ramen absolutely hit the spot. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. The portions were generous, the atmosphere was cozy, and the service was friendly and fast. You can tell they really care about quality here. “I rarely leave comments. I visited once before and felt the quality of the pork wasn't quite up to par. Today, however, we ordered the Spicy Miso and a Chicken Ramen—and honestly, they were absolutely delicious. “Really good spot when you want sushi and ramen without having to pick one or the other. The menu has a lot of solid options, so it works well if one person wants ramen, someone else wants rolls, and everyone wants to share a few small plates. The place has a cozy feel, and it’s nice for a casual dinner without feeling too loud or rushed. I like that there’s enough variety to come back and try something different each time. Good food, good vibe, and definitely a solid Encino stop on Ventura.“

“My local ramen spot in Valley Glen, Los Angeles, California on the border of Van Nuys and neighboring North Hollwood. Ramen Izakaya is great from take out or dine with a plethora of beverage options as well as eats. Available through doordashz grubhub and ubereats this small chain biz has an incredible creamy vegan ramen, spicy lemon grass ramen, veggie spring rolls, tofu nuggets, shishito peppers, edamame, rice bowls, salads, soups and lots of traditional Japanese and ramen dishes that will please your taste buds times two. They have some decent outdoor seating, but incredibly indoor and a huge parking lot in back. The service is always good and usually very personable. A unique Japanese cuisine eatery with some LA Valley flavor and modern plant-based flare.“

“My kids were raving about this place and they finally invited me to try this location. So naturally, I ordered their best items on the menu. We ordered the chicken pieces as an appetizer and we all chose a bowl of ramen. I ordered the beef broth truffle soup with an extra side of pork belly. The appetizer and the special sauce was delicious and the Ramen was amazing. As a big fan of Phó, this place was really good. Next time we come in, I will order the chicken broth. The only reason it didn't get a 5 star review was because of what management said to us as we dined. One of the people in our party did not have soup, they had a sandwich from the restaurant next door. Management came to our table and said that they didn't allow outside food to be eaten in their restaurant. With multiple restaurants located in this shopping center and No signs posted anywhere, I think this policy should be re-evaluated. Between the 3 of us eating Ramen, the bill was almost $84 with a tip. I think for the location being so close to other choices of food and the price, my family should be able to enjoy dinner together. I hope they change this policy in the near future.“

“My first time coming here was with coworkers over a year ago…. Tasteful ramen! Then I started bringing my family, and we stop by every now and then when I bring up ramen for dinner/lunch… Masa Ramen has become my go to place & at this point I don’t plan on venturing else where in SCV for ramen. The service is always great and the owners (I’m guessing) are always pleasant and genuine as well. My family is a fan of One Piece so we enjoy the pictures they have around the shop.
My go to ramen is the chipotle ramen, my kids tend to go for the masa, shoyu, or chipotle ramen as well. My partner’s go to is the curry ramen and the spicy mabo ramen. Appetizers that are our go to are the gyoza, chicken karaage and the chicken fried rice. The food is ALWAYS DELICIOUS!!🌟Just had to say put that in here.“

“Pork curry ramen was great takoyaki was good. It was my first time here and I wanted some ramen on a Saturday night. Place wasn't busy. There was one cook and one server, no problem. I'm in Santa Clarita for the next couple of weeks for work and I will be back a couple more times before I leave. Place wasn't crowded at all. No music but I got to watch a game of world baseball. Sucks I missed the Japan game. Didn't know it was going on but I did watch the US beat Britain badly.“

“I finally tried Silverlake Ramen at the Porter Ranch Vineyards, and I enjoyed every moment of it. I’ve heard about Silverlake Ramen for years, so I was excited when they opened one so close to my house. I don’t remember the exact name of my order, but it was a chicken-based broth and I chose tofu as my protein (you can pick chicken, pork, or tofu). Seriously—YUM. The noodles were cooked to perfection, the toppings were just the right amount, and I completely got lost in that broth.

Everything was fairly priced, delicious, and the service was attentive and genuinely upbeat. I’m absolutely going back. We also tried a couple of appetizers—the gyoza and the crispy rice with spicy tuna—and both were great!“

Last night I finally ordered through UberEats for the first time, and let me tell you, I was VERY impressed by how everything was packaged with care to prevent broth for my ramen spilling and from my sushi being crushed. I ordered the Spicy Seafood ramen bowl which was delicious! And I got a California roll because of its reasonable price and being a classic. Everything was very good and well kept to ensure a positive first experience. The portions are perfect for if you're very hungry and want to indluge or if you just need a little pick-me-up and want to have leftovers for later. I will definitely be giving Kita my business regularly. 😋“

“My wife and I love sushi. We enjoy Katsuya and Nobu and many other fine establishments. We stopped going to these places (at a risk of sounding old) because of the the noise, the attitude, the kids screaming and have discovered this amazing gem in Encino - walking distance from our home.

“Yes it’s to-go only. Yes it’s still amazing, I love coming here for thai food. Nui is such a kind and thoughtful person, I have never had a bad experience with anyone from the ThaiMeUp! staff. The appetizers are amazing, i’ve tried every single one. My favorite dishes are always the curry or noodle entrees, yellow curry or pad thai. One of the main reasons I come here so much is that I get to choose how spicy I want the food to be, a lot of other thai restaurants will let you order “spicy” and they just add a mound of black pepper. Not here. If i want spicy I’m guaranteed a delicious floral spice that burns my face and can even clear out my sinus. I love the fact that they do not gate keep the spice levels here. You get what you want and what you ordered. I’ve been going here for over a year now since I moved to LA and I make it a point to come once a month at the very least, at one point i was going once a week. I should have done this review a lot sooner, I feel like the ThaiMeUp! staff deserves their own sit down restaurant were they can provide their food to a much larger audience. I will come here for as long as those doors are open, i love coming to eat here and have easily had my friends try it just to tell me they love it as well. This is the best for great and consistent thai food.“
