“I came with my family here, very clean place, clean restroom, clean everything, good food. Fast service, but please ladies from the front (customer service) smile, you take care of the customer like robots, next, thank you , next, thank you next. I was looking at every single person that was receiving their orders to make sure that chips are given to some odres or to every order. We order two burritos, one pupusa and twelve tacos. We did not received chips at all. I saw people that purchase tacos , receiving their chips, this wasn’t my case. No one gave us our chips😟“

“Barrio at Ghirardelli Square is such a great spot if you're craving Mexican food with a view. The location is perfect right by the waterfront with ocean views that make your taco and margarita moment even better. I had a few tacos and a classic margarita and both were super flavorful and satisfying. The vibe is relaxed and fun and the outdoor seating really adds to the experience especially on a sunny day. Definitely a good stop when exploring the area.“

“To me, these are the best burritos and churros inside of the city of Richmond. I don't think it is close. I think they have very good fresh food. The service is great. The location is small and eating outside is best or to use this for takeout. But you will not regret the amazing food that they make.“

“Went here for a somewhat large family gathering. While not the best Mexican food I've ever had the quality was good. Every one in the group seemed to enjoy their meals and my steak burrito hit the spot. Margaritas were pretty good too. Staff were friendly and attentive.
I would suggest you guys take orders at the table like a normal restaurant instead of making us go up to the front desk and order. I get that you are probably short staffed but getting our group of over 10 people to the front of the restaurant and ordered took way longer than was necessary, and we ended up making other customers wait while we got everything sorted.
While I don't mind paying for my meal before I eat it, if you are paying with a credit card it means you have to tip before receiving service, which just seems backwards to me (a tip should be a thank you).

“Had a deliciously flavorful dinner on the patio with my husband and 8 month old son on a Sunday evening. Immediately we were greated by friendly staff and seated outside. We used a highchair that was available which was appreciated since we wanted to have a meal all together with our 8 month old son. The service was amazing we got chips and salsa with our menus. I got a vegetarian tostada and my husband got cheese enchiladas. It was like magic how quick we got our meals. Everything was so delicious and my son finally got to sit and participate in our meal rather than watch us eat/hide what we are eating now that he's so interested in food! We gave him his first litte plate of refried beans, rice, and tastes of toppings. He was happy as a clam and slept better than he's ever slept before. Our server was interactive and kind with our little guy and being a mom that's a bonus when choosing a place to eat out. It was reasonably priced for how good the food is. We look forward to making this a new regular family dinner spot.“

“I got the tacos de pescado, my husband got the carne asada tacos and we swapped 1 each for “surf n turf”. At first I was skeptical if I would still be hungry after 2 tacos, but the portions were filling. Everything from the salsa, to the fish, to the margaritas was extremely fresh. The carne asada was probably the most tender and flavorful I’ve ever had. Our server was so helpful and attentive even with our many substitutes (I don’t like dairy and my husband doesn’t like onions, so we always get them on the side when we share).
