“Hole in the wall which pleasantly surprised us! They accommodated my request to turn a veggie burrito into a non-tortilla plate, and the husband was pleased with the generous amount of shrimp in his wet burrito.
Photos captured halfway through devouring. 😅“

“Few $ more, don't follow Google maps prices but good hot fresh food better then tres amigos hands down, Good quality fish n meat, lil pricey but can't go wrong with any of the food here been coming for here variety for years. Only reason not 5 stars cuz they charge extra $ for delicious salsa and chips
Parking: It's right off hwy so it's good n bad“

“No bathroom, Can't go wrong with anything here! Sometimes flies inside the restaurant but better then mordida/ tres amigos, same quality as gallina(good), burritos are gettin skinnier (not super meaty) tacos are ok for price point but still imo the best in hmb, definitely my go to noticed they don't put as much meat as used 2, I'll b back“

“This took me far too long to write, but I wanted to find the right words to say. My husband and I had been waiting two long years to get married. We postponed twice because of the pandemic and in the course of that time changed our venue to San Benito House. Let me tell you, that was the BEST decision we ever made. Not only is the venue itself incredibly beautiful and the food so delicious, but Kai and his staff bent over backwards for us and all of our guests. Kai is the ultimate hype guy and he took what normally would have been a stressful event to plan, and made it so easy and fun. I would (and will) recommend that anyone who is wanting a Half Moon Bay wedding, that this is the ultimate place to go. Our guests are still talking about the day and if we could, we’d do it 1000 times over just to experience the magic again. Thank you, thank you, thank you! To Kai and the incredible staff, you are truly THE BEST.“

“Quite tasty. Stopped here on road trip down the coast from SF. Burrito (veggie) was enormous but it was so nice I finished it off. The little included salsa and chips bar (emphasis on salsa) went well with burrito. Daughter had a quesadilla that she liked.
I accidentally left behind my backpack with some very important things. We discovered it was missing 1.5 hours away and drive back. They found it for us (via telephone) and saved it for us. Cannot express how relieved we were to recover it.“

“Delicious food, super friendly service. A little slower than a typical restaurant, but that’s because everything is made to order and not sitting around in a pan waiting to be served. The food was amazing, and so pretty!“

“Flavor bomb!! This place is a hidden gem. Recommend the Al pastor tacos. I also got the birria taco with the consome. Don’t forget to purchase it separate. I agree with the previous reviews. One of the best tacos you’ll find in the Bay Area. You get so much quality and quantity for the price. $3?? Feels almost the same quality as SD. The staff are super nice too. Wish they had more locations!“

“Still the best kept secret in San Mateo. I’m moving tomorrow and this food is what I’m going to miss the most. The portions are generous, the price is affordable, the service can’t be beat. Cash only. Small parking lot. Family owned and operated. The carne asada is delicious! Actually I haven’t had a bad meal here. Take away is available. You won't be disappointed . Skip the la cumbre and pancho villa. Come get the best!“

“Do you love going to Flavortown? How about dreaming with your eyes open? Then try these birria tacos. The first time I had it was from leftovers that my daughter brought home for lunch. Then I drove from Oakley to San Mateo to have them fresh. It was AMAZING! They provide extra stuff to add to the tacos, but it honestly didn’t need them. The meat was so tender & flavorful that I had to close my eyes so I could fully appreciate the taste. Then I added the extras one by one & it tasted like a new taco each time. I know it seems like I’m exaggerating, but it’s really that good! My only wish is that they had seating nearby & a second location closer to Oakley.“

“Came for the camarones a la diabla (“Devil’s Shrimp”), which they don’t have on the menu but are happy to make it for you. I actually enjoy theirs more than El Farolito! Also HIGHLY recommend their pastor tacos. Their salsa is top-notch, which I am very picky about. So lucky I live two minutes away!
Parking: Park behind if you can’t find on street.“

“This was the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The burrito was absolutely massive—the longest and girthiest thing I’ve ever seen. I cannot believe that I ate it all, it was that good. The tacos were perfect, with the meat wonderfully cooked and seasoned. The salsa bar and chips were also delicious.“

“Ordered Chorizo breakfast burrito
I was given a burrito with chorizo and was still pretty good. Even without being an eggs and potato burrito, it was still good.
The rice and beans had great flavor. The beans were smooth and the chorizo was tangy, mildly spicy, and not overcooked mixed with eggs.
The last bites of burrito was like eating a quesadilla so that was different.
There is a salsa bar and I love spicy salsas. The creamy orange red looking habanero spicy salsa is an 7/10 in spiciness.
The chips are really crunchy not thin so also great.
I love when you can get radishes at the restaurant to help cut the fat of a meal.“

“Not sure why I missed this place, but it’s awesome! Had the Philly Yerba frita with Vegas feta. Flavorful with a little heat. Pretty messy bit it was delicious and what’s a good sandwich unless it’s all over your face??? Can’t wait to go back. The beans and rice were nice. The social fries were good! 10/10.“
“Very cute to-go place. Perfect for a quick lunch pick up especially if you work in South City. I got the unagi with egg (savory with a hint of sweetness) and takoyaki which were both hot and fresh! I want to try the fruit sando and pork sando next time.I purchased it at the Kei Sushi location.“

“Shout out to this wonderful neighborhood spot serving up some great homestyle cuisine. I stopped in for breakfast and ordered chorizo with eggs. Everything was delicious and well seasoned. Fresh salsas and homemade tortillas rounded out the meal. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. If I lived in the neighborhood I would return again and again.“

“I purchased the Super Nachos they were great the chips were fresh. The service was good the cook came out to check on me and asked about the food. I was pleased that they were very nice and attentive to their customers. Everyone was friendly and as a customer that is what I enjoyed the most. I've never been to a place where the cooks checked in on me about the food. See my plate below and the portion size was wonderful. I will definitely be returning for a second trip to try other items on the menu.“

“Ordered here from DoorDash and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and flavor of my food. I got the tofu bowl and everything tasted fresh. I get nervous when ordering food for delivery but I would definitely order here again. I wanted to try the smoothie but wasn’t sure if they put it in a sealed bag or what, I’ll try that next time.

“First of all, this was my first visit to this place. The cashier was fantastic. He is probably the owner of this place. It was on a Thursday during a two day rainy weather storm. I walked in at 11am and I was the only customer. The guy was super kind and the food was beyond good. I ordered a carnitas super burrito. He then told me about salsas in the beverage refrigerator. It was in little Togo cups. I grabbed one of each. One Pico De Gallo, one mild Red and one hot Red. I raved about the hot red and he said it is made fresh daily and that it is made with Habanero peppers. It had black pieces in the salsa which is probably from Roasting the peppers. The taste was so so good with the tortilla chips. Those also looked homemade. To drink I had the Aqua Frescas which was self serve. I helped myself to a refill for the road. I am not sure if that is allowed but no one stopped me.Last, the same cashier also made a point to remember not only my first name that he said several times during our conversation but on the way out as I said goodbye, he said Goodbye Mr. Garcia! This is a man who knows how to be a good business man but makes you feel like you are the most important person in the room.Several people came in after me and he knew them all. Everyone talked with him like they have known him for years. During my next visit through town, I will stop by again. This time, I will ask him his name and remember it because he means that much to me now. Cannot wait to return.“
“I recently grabbed lunch at a local taco truck, and the experience was delightful. The carne asada tacos were flavorful, and the spicy salsa added a nice kick. The staff was friendly, making the visit enjoyable. However, the tacos were priced at $3 each, which seemed a bit high for a food truck. Despite this, the quality of the food made it worthwhile“
“They are actually open after the listed closing time but they move the truck and park near the Safeway at Delaware and Peninsula instead. They're usually there from like 6PM to 9PM I thinkThe menu only lists res, chivo, and pollo as options but they also do all the other regular taqueria meats as wellGreat food, the super burritos and super quesadillas are unbelievably gigantic 5/5“

“I recently dined at The Super Burrito in Millbrae and was thoroughly impressed. While I didn't try the burritos, I highly recommend their fajita tacos. The steak and chicken were both incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. I also sampled the 'Super Taco,' and it was a feast for the senses! It was generously filled with delicious ingredients and was surprisingly light for its size. The restaurant itself has a lively and casual atmosphere, making it a great spot for a quick and satisfying meal. I'll definitely be back to try their famous burritos next time“

“The best tasting Mexican food ever! I always order their Cabeza De Res burrito. Very few Mexican food trucks sell cows head. But this taco truck introduced me to this very flavorful dish. Please don’t hesitate to give tips, they always makes me feel so happy with their “piping hot foods” and free crispy warm nachos.“
“Great job on the hand made tortilla“

“Such a great place! I've been going since I was 8 with my dad and the food and atmosphere is always great. A little pricey, but so is everything in the area. I recommend the nachos, the cheese and bean burrito, and the enchiladas. I don't recommend the horchata, as it's way too sweet“
