“This took me far too long to write, but I wanted to find the right words to say. My husband and I had been waiting two long years to get married. We postponed twice because of the pandemic and in the course of that time changed our venue to San Benito House. Let me tell you, that was the BEST decision we ever made. Not only is the venue itself incredibly beautiful and the food so delicious, but Kai and his staff bent over backwards for us and all of our guests. Kai is the ultimate hype guy and he took what normally would have been a stressful event to plan, and made it so easy and fun. I would (and will) recommend that anyone who is wanting a Half Moon Bay wedding, that this is the ultimate place to go. Our guests are still talking about the day and if we could, we’d do it 1000 times over just to experience the magic again. Thank you, thank you, thank you! “We have been here a couple times ever since a few years ago, when I think they just opened. The food never disappoints. I don’t often come by Japanese food that stand out, and this place does, in many ways like the presentation, taste and variety of food offered. Having spent many years in Vancouver, I’ve had a fair bit of Japanese food growing up.

The service is great too. Our waitress is quick, patient, and recommended a dish that we loved.

There is outdoor dining area in addition to indoor. There are two spacious bathrooms, relatively clean.

All in all, this is one of the top Japanese restaurants in the area and my personal favorite. I hope more people get to enjoy it like I do.“

“Quite tasty. Stopped here on road trip down the coast from SF. Burrito (veggie) was enormous but it was so nice I finished it off. The little included salsa and chips bar (emphasis on salsa) went well with burrito. Daughter had a quesadilla that she liked.

I accidentally left behind my backpack with some very important things. We discovered it was missing 1.5 hours away and drive back. They found it for us (via telephone) and saved it for us. Cannot express how relieved we were to recover it.“

If you are vegetarian you are fine but if you are vegan is way more complicated as the dishes don't have a clear list of ingredients and the salsas are a mistery, they just bring to the table with no explanation. The allegedly vegan soup have some ghee butter flavor.

“We try to come at least once every other week since we live in about 25minutes away. We love this place. The people here are awesome!

The food is consistent and delicious. The waffles are fresh. The fries are crispy.
I love personally love their pasta options. I usually get the palermo and abruzzo. Both amazing and always tastes just like the last visit..

“This was my first time visiting this bakery. Nice vibe great pictures, great pastries, and donuts breads. However, out of the staff unfortunately I got the rotten apple. No hello, how can I help? Lol, I got the look as if I’m to now I’m next. I ordered four different kinds of cookies and cannolis. I got four individual bags to carry out the 4 different types of cookies I ordered.? Maybe, I should have asked earlier to put them in a box but Honestly, I didn’t know how much I was going to order. Everything looked delicious! Sometimes common sense goes a long way.? I did ask after if I could please have a box to make it easier to carry the cookies out. She gave me the box and walked away nice!? Trust me, I understand I work retail. However, just remember this one thing… Customers are there keeping you employed with the job whether you’re tired or not whether you wanna be there or not! Treat your customers with respect always!!! “They have the best pork chops you'd ever eat. The seating set up is spacious, very good looking restaurant, affordable and delicious meals. They have beef steaks, burgers, vegetarian food as well. They do all meals, I.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner as well.

“I have been Jonesin for for a lobster roll. I ordered the lobster and cheese sandwich, thinking it would be a grilled cheese with a dash of lobster. Boy, was I wrong!
