“I came across Playa Provisions when in town for business. It was a short Uber from the airport, so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is an absolute gem! It is a unique setup that has everything you'd possibly need from morning until late at night: Cafe in the front for coffee and fresh baked good, as well as full breakfast menu. Later in the heat of the afternoon, take a break from the beach (right across the street) and enjoy hand scooped specialty ice cream cones and shakes. Oh look, it's dinner time... and Playa Provisions opens their dining room and bar, some of the best, most relaxed ambience you'll find for miles around. But don't let the casual setting fool you, this is some incredible, elevated cuisine. Chef owners Nick and Brooke (who you might recognize) crafted a menu that's I've been eating my way through, and have yet to find a dish that's not delicious. You've been eating and drinking all day, and are exhausted? Don't leave yet! Wander into the back 'secret' whiskey bar, (Grain Whiskey Bar) and enjoy hand crafted cocktails from award winning bartenders (no, literally), in a gorgeous wood laden atmosphere. I consider myself a foodie, and try as many different restaurants and cuisines as I can. And yet, Playa Provisions remains my favorite restaurant in LA (and that's saying something, considering the amazing places in LA). Run, don't walk, to Playa Provisions. You'll thank me.“

The red onion focaccia bread with herb and Parmesan butter, added Burrata - best- seller, a must. The 3 day brined smoked fried chicken-different taste, with soy and Chiles, a must!!!The Peruvian pork belly with sweet potato , Criolla and crispy quinoa , love it! “Our flight from LAX all of a sudden was delayed for 5 hours past its original departure time. Instead of becoming sitting lumps we wanted to go to the beach and grab a quick dinner. And the Strand didn't disappoint at all. As we watched the Cali Sunset from our seats the Fall vibes were in the drinks, apps, and THE branzino is one of the BEST we,ve had! And those rolls whew! Very tasty. It's the perfect distance of quality beach & food. And we made it back to LAX just in time for our delayed flight.“

“Went for special holiday meal. Food was delicious. Probably the tastiest chopped chicken liver I've ever tasted. Fabulous brisket, potato pancakes, noodle kugel. Service was extremely good. The server helped make the evening fun. Terrific cocktails helped too. Will eagerly come back to the restaurant for brunch and dinner.“

“The chef's restaurant is upscale but cozy, with only 5 tables, all across from the open air kitchen. The chef and waiter collaborate to serve you each dish, telling you the ingredients that go into each dish... like little stories. Such a special experience!“

“I don't even know where to begin... Two Hommes is an absolute GEM! My dad and I went last night, and from start to finish, it was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Every single dish was perfection. We ordered the Root Beer Braised Short Rib, Chilean Sea Bass, Garlic Noodles with Bebere Shrimp, and a side of Herb Lamb Chops and honestly, every bite showcased the chefs' incredible skill and artistry. You can truly taste the craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into every plate! The service was immaculate, and our server Nia went above and beyond. She was warm, attentive, and had excellent recommendations including the Suya Plantain Cake for dessert, which was absolutely unbelievable. Even though we didn't have drinks this time, everything else was so outstanding that we're already planning to return next month (we're visiting from PA!). Lastly, the ambience was lovely. Sophisticated yet cozy, with a vibe that makes you want the moment to never end. If you're in California and haven't been yet, GO. Don't walk, RUN. This place deserves all the praise. Every dish, every detail, every moment was pure magic!“

“It’s tradition now — every time Adobe MAX is in town, I make it a point to stop by Yard House at L.A. Live! The team is always so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely courteous — they make every visit feel like coming home.

The truffle fries and tacos are always on deck, and they never disappoint! Perfectly crispy, flavorful, and just the right portion. And of course, I was so happy to see they still have my favorite Woodchuck Pineapple Cider — that’s my go-to every single time.

“I had an amazing experience at Venice Beach Wines! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcome. The staff was friendly, attentive, and you could tell they really love what they do.

We ordered a charcuterie board, cheesy stuffed peppers, hanger steak, and the VBW salad — everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were on point, and you can tell they use really high-quality ingredients and put a lot of care into each dish.

We went with two bottles of Topette Sauvignon Blanc, which paired great with the food and made the whole night even better. The vibe inside was exactly what you want in a wine bar: cozy, laid-back, and stylish, with amazing energy.

No server leaves the kitchen empty handed and the vibe is to make their customers happy with continuous even flow table service. Disney please take note! I am not of of millennial restaurants where stand at a cash register and pay the tip upfront then assigned a number & number holder then fend & elbow for a table. This is old school service upgraded with innovative traffic management to expedite cuisines & cocktails. I love the intimacy of the raised railroad car booths where I can actually hear my guest’s conversation and speak to wait staff at eye level. And the bathrooms are so modern and spotless! The observation window to see the cooking staff hard at work is as much fun as a cooking show! Chocolate chip cookies are warm but melt in your mouth! “Aesthetically the restaurant looks great. Surprisingly for such an open floor plan you still feel the room is quiet and comfortable. Service was outstanding! Leigh was an absolute delight... she is knowledgeable, attentive, professional, and an amazing, witty, & fun personality. She quickly observed that my brother and I were having a great time and hadn't seen each other for a while and really jumped on board to create an amazing dining experience. Additionally, the whole staff was working as a cohesive unit and willing and able to help out, however was needed.“
