“Suggest having a reservation. We showed up without a reservation and the place was practically empty and they had no seats available and this place is huge. Lots and lots of couch seating and tables. I personally find it frustrating, when an establishment of this size cannot have some seats open for walk-ins.
After being told there is no space available, WE discovered that the small bar area is open seating!!! Go Figure. Once we sat down the service was awesome!“

The MalaTang here is genuinely the best I’ve had, it’s so rich and flavorful that, for the first time, I finished the entire bowl.

“It was my first time to the restaurant and I was hesitating between different bowl options. Ellie, the staff at the counter, was very helpful and pointed out the burrata bowl option (I love burrata!) Feeling thankful already for the friendly service, I told her that I was ready to pay-- and then to my utter surprise, she told me that my meal was FREE and not to worry about it! My jaw dropped and I said-- no you don't have to do that!-- but she said it was her pleasure since it was my first time there. Wow! And the food was amazing too! Highly recommend!“

“Food was awesome! Husband got a mushroom swiss burger and said it was amazing ... daughter had a side of Mac and Cheese which she loved and it wasn't a box kraft like some restaurants try to do. I had tomato soup and it was creamy and not to acidic! Yum!
Service was pretty none existent since u order on a machine and then go uo can get your own food after the buzzer and tables we were able to find pretty well on a Sunday afternoon.

The prices are just right for the quality of the food and ingredients. I would give it a 10 out of 10, and we will definitely be coming back.“

Seriously, every single time I come here, I end up getting more than I planned because it all just looks and tastes too amazing to resist. And don’t even get me started on the staff. Always so friendly and helpful, even when there’s a huge line. They make the whole experience even better, which is dangerous for my diet. I swear, they must be trained to tempt people into ordering extra toppings.

Since it’s the closest location to me, Cava has become my go-to spot, which is both a blessing and a curse. My taste buds are happy, but my wallet and waistline? Not so much. I just wish they weren’t so good at what they do!“

“Pretty good ramen and sushi. Our group ordered the tonkotsu black and spicy miso ramen. Both were very flavorful and filling. We also order the salmon bento box and chicken katsu with curry. Both the bento boxes were good, but katsu seemed a little dry. It's better with the curry, but I wouldn't order it again. The sushi was great. We got the baked salmon roll and crunch fire roll. Both were fresh and delicious! I would come back to try the other ramen.“

“So delicious! Where else can you get vegan tikka masala, butter tofu, saag tofu.. tell me, I wanna know! So hard to find. So pleased they offer so many vegan options beyond the normal chana, dal, bhindi, aloo we usually get. I missed having a creamy, rich tikka! The tofu butter masala was my favorite (at least I think I was that one - the darker orange one). Closest to a tikka one might have had before going vegan. Absolutely loved it. Called and confirmed everything on the "Indian Vegan Cafe" menu is 100% vegan. I bet you can also just go to Southern Spice and sit down and order it. I'll have to try someday. I did pickup after placing a GrubHub order - be warned, it seemed to take longer than the non vegan orders, wasn't ready quite when the app said it was. Not really a "ghost kitchen"... really just Southern Spice's vegan menu but separated into a different name for ordering. “Kuan Zhai Alley is a real deal Sichuan restaurant in Irvine, near the Spectrum. You know it is the real deal because they serve things that won't appeal to most Westerners; no Orange Chicken here.

What the do have are delicacies like Boiled Duck Blood, Tripe and Ham in Chili Broth, Boiled Frog in Special Spicy Sauce and Double Fried Pork Intestine.

But not everything is so exotic, but most of it is spicy. My favorites include Stir Fried Chicken with Mixed Chili Peppers, Boiled Spicy Hot Pot and any of the Spicy Dry Pot, which means they've been wok fried.

Cancel that trip to Chengdu, come here instead, you'll never know the difference.“

Appreciated curated selection of drinks (I went for my tried and true choice of wine, instead of those varieties of cocktails) and menu. Jessica, the server, was attentive, super friendly and great with menu recommendations. Had the arugula salad, filet, cooked to perfection, and coffee cake. “Our kids loved dining at Olive Garden when we lived in Lynnwood, WA. After moving to Irvine, CA, we go there regularly for the lunch special. The Irvine location is the best one in Orange County. The service is consistently excellent, making each visit a pleasant experience.

Our kids enjoy the kids’ menu and love dipping the signature breadsticks into the Zuppa Toscana and Chicken Gnocchi soups. They always say it’s so tasty.
