“As a two egg casino breakfast connoisseur, I am highly qualified to review this establishment.

$12.65 for 2 egg breakfast when using players card. Includes coffee, biscuit, bacon, and breakfast potatoes.

The potatoes could use a little more seasoning and crunch, but that’s about the only complaint I could find in this meal. IMO very good value, tasty, and quick.

Pamela is super friendly and helpful as well!

All in all, I think this is one of the best casino two egg breakfasts you’re going to find. Great value, tasty, hot, fresh food.“

“Earlene prepared a special birthday dinner celebration for one of our dearest friends. So many special touches including the warm way she welcomed the birthday “celebrant” and us into her restaurant with a tasty nonalcoholic sangria to everything she did to make Diemut’s birthday dinner beautiful surpassed our highest hopes! We truly thank her for everything she did to make her/us feel special. It was absolutely spectacular. The celebratory blue touches - especially the blue butterflies on her cake- the delicious food and ambiance- everything. As Diemut herself said, “It was a volcanically successful birthday celebration.” We are in Erlene’s debt for helping us make our dear friend so happy.“

“I love this place , The Beer is good and cold ! The Brisket is the best for me , nice and juices, never dry w/ just a touch of char that gives it the best taste ever ! The portions seem like there smaller but I blame covid and all the other things that have gone on in our country, like the cost of living anymore is getting bad, we feel it and I'm sure the management feels it to ! And trust me ,Phil's is good but, Cali has it beat hands down !

“So we went twice. The first time we were literally stacked. Doubled meat, doubled spicy pickles - insanely good. Second time, it was good but there was an obvious language barrier b/c the second sandwich didn’t look anything like the one in this photo. But overall, if you get a person that understands what double up means, this place is a have to have as far as grilled cheeses go. The buffalo chicken fries (had the ranch been remembered in the Togo bag) are worth a try!“

“I live out east nowadays, but I visit my hometown in La Mesa yearly. Came to Curbside for the first time last year, and just now went back again. I wish we had food like this around here when I was growing up!! My gosh, the short rib beef is incredible. Had it on a salad last time, and just now had the short rib taco along with an equally impressive fish taco. I got a few bites of the beef kebab too, and it was just as top-notch! Great seating options with a view of La Mesa Blvd. Good beer list too. And wonderful staff. I wish I had more time to try more of the menu—but I’ll be back every time I’m in San Diego down the line. “Went at dinner time to watch Padres game. Seated after 15 min to Great seats to watch on big screen. Ordered the 44 muskgrove burger. Big juicy three patty heart attack! Delicious. Wife had cob salad and couldn't eat all. Great sport viewing and food.“

Our 2 sides were mashed potatoes & broccoli, garden salad & French fries, and potatoes au gratin & Brussels sprouts. All 3 meals were delicious and had generous portions. The service was great.
