“Well done!!!! You saved the day! Every place we went was closed for lunch. Our mother turned 95, can you believe it.
You have a beautiful, miniature piazza that reminded her of our visit to Italy. A warm welcoming and very attentive staff. The food was perfect. I cannot recommend this establishment enough.“

En Garde Winery Winery •
9077 Sonoma Hwy Suite A, Kenwood

“En Garde Winery is a hidden gem in the heart of Sonoma Valley. It s a family-owned and operated winery focuses on producing high-quality, small-lot Napa Cabernet Sauvignons and RRV Pinot Noirs. We truly enjoyed the personal and exquisite tasting with the winemaker, Csaba. And we loved the wines. The delicious 99 point Cab Sauvignon Touche, is a rare find in the area. Also loved the port, named after the winemaker's Mom. We will be back!“

Kunde Family Winery Wineries • $$
9825 Sonoma Hwy, Kenwood

“While traveling from Santa Rosa to Sonoma, we took the scenic route and decided to stop at this gorgeous estate along the way. We were the first to arrive at 10:30 a.m. and, while initially judged for our early timing, we explained that we were on East Coast time, which earned us a pass. We were walk-ins without reservations.

It took a little time for the staff to warm up to us, but once they did, they were friendly and accommodating. It was an average wine tasting, served at the bar, with a mini lesson on the region’s microclimates and how they influenced the wines. Overall, it’s a pleasant stop if you’re in the area and looking to enjoy beautiful surroundings and a bit of wine education.“

Chateau St. Jean Winery Wineries • $$

“I think it is mandatory for a winery to have a lovely building and grounds. That said, the building here is very stylish and impressive. The wine is of course lovely and the customer service was excellent as well. Very much worth your time if you are wine tasting.“

Ledson Winery & Vineyards Wineries • $$
7335 CA-12, Kenwood

“Property gives me Downtown Abbey vibes, and the road that led to it was tucked away and quiet. However, it was perfectly as we made wine stops all the way to Healdsburg.

The wines we sampled didn’t standout to me personally but the person who helped us out was professional though a bit standoffish.“
