“Misu was very friendly. I got to talk about S. KOREA with her which brought back memories. The baked goods are great! I had the rice juice and sesame seed roll (which is stuff with sweet bean paste. which brought me back. I was talking to Misu how Korean food is not the same here. She proved me wrong! It didn’t just taste good—it rewrote my dessert beliefs. Moist without being mushy, sweet without the sugar assault, and layered like a symphony. The texture? A velvet rebellion. The flavor? A sermon in indulgence. I didn’t just eat it—Im forever converted. Thank you!!“

I had been getting instagram recommendations on my feed for a few months (even though I don’t live in CA), and I’m glad I decided to put this place on my list to check out before I left. I got the ube sesame bun and the cheese and ube pie and both of them were fantastic. I wish I lived closer so I could come back and try more items, to be honest everything on display looked unreal. “Really amazing and very good food. I was a table of one and was able to sit down within 15 minutes compared to usual hour long wait.

I got the HK style french toast, very sweet and more of a dessert but it was amazing nonetheless. Second item i got was the cold sesame noodle (no chicken) and i’ve never had this amazing dish before and it was life changingly good.

Funny story but they threw away my food while i was in the bathroom for two minutes but they apologized and gave me a free meal to go and pastry. I didn’t care that much but happy they fixed an error!

I will most definitely be coming back here for more, even their basic donut offering, the “hot single” is to die for. All donuts are fresh made to order, highly recommend eating them hot. “recently visited this shaurma spot and honestly, the interior is amazing — super cozy, stylish, and has a whole vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. It definitely feels like more than just a quick food stop.

I tried the chicken shawarma. While the flavor was okay, I wasn’t too happy with the chicken — it wasn’t grilled properly, and the wrap felt a bit unbalanced with too much lavash and not enough ingredients inside.

That being said, I still recommend checking this place out. The experience itself is worth it, and with such a nice atmosphere, I really hope this business grows and stands strong. It’s definitely a spot I want to see succeed, and maybe with a few tweaks to the food, it can become a favorite!“

“I attended a kids' birthday party and they had the most delicious cake ever. It was chocolate with a fresh strawberry center. The chocolate cake was so moist. The icing was light and delicate. This cake was talked about with everyone. We kept saying, "it's not too sweet," which is the best compliment you can say for a cake. I wasn't the one that purchased the cake but I definitely will now after this.“

“09/11/25: The Latina staff member was very friendly and welcoming (same person I met on my last visit!) — her service attitude is excellent. The food here is always very, very delicious, and the little bunny cake was amazing with fresh ingredients.

However, I did feel disappointed with another staff member (Asian) who came across as unfriendly and gave me attitude. Since I am also Asian, I honestly don’t know if I did something wrong, but it made me uncomfortable.

Overall, the quality of the food is outstanding, and I truly enjoy coming here. I just hope the management can strengthen training for individual employees so that the service experience matches the excellent food.“

“Tartine Silver Lake is a gem! The space is open and inviting, with a great neighborhood vibe. I grabbed a morning pastry and a coffee for pickup, and everything was ready fast and tasted incredible. The croissant was buttery and flaky—definitely one of the best in LA. The coffee was rich and smooth. Staff were friendly and upbeat, even with a line forming. “Absolutely delicious! Can’t go wrong with SusieCakes. Chocolate cake is my all time favorite. Perfect for chocolate lovers. This time I ordered a slice of celebration cake and did not disappoint. Very moist and the flavor was just right.
They also offer a variety of cupcakes.
Jaimie helped me out. Very nice and even offered us to try a different flavor cake.

“Fresh warm gooey cookie, literally everything youd love in a cookie. i was skeptical at first because im usually not a fan of a chubby cookie, i dont mean to discriminate towards the thiccer cookies but some of them are dry. when i tell you this was the best chubby cookie ive ever had i dont take that lightly. it wasnt too sweet it had a perfect contrast of crunch to chew ratio. absolutely a delicious cookie. genuinely i would have liked a sugar cookie on the menu but thats just a personal preference. the service was great, i was offered a complimentary pumpkin spice cookie to try, im not a fan of pumpkin spice so i gave that to my mother who really enjoyed it. the location with warehouse situation was interesting, but they made it easy just call and they bring it right to you. it was my first time but based off everything, ill definitely be back! highly recommend the chocolate chip, its just an all around great cookie.“
