“No frills, just perfect bread and fillings. The baguette crackles, the pickled veggies are crisp, and the grilled pork is marinated with a little sweetness. I always add a pandan waffle to go—still warm, slightly chewy. Parking in the small lot can be hectic, but turnover is quick. It’s a reliable lunch that never disappoints“

“It's a divey local joint with a laser focus on sub sandwiches. Limited menu, all of it good. The guys taking orders and making sandwiches are genuinely happy and enjoy their work. Very friendly and personable.
I had pastrami, she had a sausage sandwich. She declared the sandwich average (marinara average, sausage ok but average). My pastrami was good for what it was but personally disappointing. They heat it in simmering broth, that washes out the salt and flavor and makes it rubbery. Best handling of pastrami IMO is to heat it on the flat top. That renders and softens some of the fat, concentrates the flavor and makes it a little crispy. Then put the cheese on top of that to melt before it goes on the bread, that's a good sandwich. Anyway...
The pepper steak is what a lot of people get, looking forward to trying it next time.“

“Absolutely amazing! I was in town for work, and looking for some good food. Their food is made with natural ingredients and tastes amazing! The people are friendly and helpful. The bread in their sandwiches and subs is made by a non supplier bakery, so it tastes fresh and amazing, unlike chain pizza places! Would definitely recommend!“

“First time there. The food is a little pricey. I bought a steak sandwich with onion ring, fries and mozzarella stick inside the sandwich. It was good but it could have used more meat.
The service was good and the staff was friendly.
The seating could use lower tables for people who are handicapped. But it was a good experience.“

“First time here yesterday and happy to keep coming back, had the hot pastrami sub and it was seriously good loved the mayo mustard combo with chopped tomato onion and pickles combined and layered generously over the whole sub Also had the Tonys special sub .. lots of fresh and tasty deli meats mortadella hams salamis and again the in-house mustard mayo combo .. awesome sandwich For a side I had the bow tie pasta which was cooked al dente with plenty of the marinated artichoke hearts and a great authentic Italian feel and flavour As this had now developed into leftovers for dinner given the size of it all I took us home a tiramisu for dessert later, and as with everything else well worth the eating Opened in 1979 and still going strong .. it’s easy to see why“

“Giamela's is an old family owned chain with amazing pepper steak subs. I have been eating here since at least the early 80's, and unfortunately they've closed a few locations. Their subs are generously portioned and freshly prepared. Aside from their pepper steak, their meatball sub among others is classic. The atmosphere and decor is basic, but that isn't why you come here. Service is friendly.“

“I happened to see one of these on the way to my hotel and it reminded me of the shops they had in Sac. Grabbed a grilled pork bahn mi for lunch with some egg rolls to share. “I ordered the 20 oz bottle of wild cherry Pepsi and a lays classic chips. I got the Jersey shores favorite with white bread and Mike’s way for free since I used a special coupon. It was worth it. The wait wasn’t that bad. I loved how all the flavors blended together to make a perfect sandwich. Ham and cappacuolo went well together and the provolone. I was full by the end of my meal.“

They carry snacks,candy, drinks, Ramen cups,etc. They also offer breakfast & lunch sandwiches. This is a great spot for mall or office employees to grab something quick since the food court is much smaller in this part of the mall ( Bloomingdale side)“

I always come here and get the baguette, because the bread here is good for the next day not like other place it become hard the next day. Parking: Street parking fills up quick but can be found occasionally. There are nearby lots/garages to park in.“
