“Food was good overall, but nothing truly extraordinary. The crab cakes were definitely the highlight — flavorful and well prepared. The Caesar salad, however, came with mushy, soggy croutons, and the lobster mac & cheese lacked the rich, creamy texture I expected; the sauce was thin and runny instead. The filet mignon was decent, but not particularly memorable. Service was also a bit disappointing. Despite having a large bottle of sparkling water on the table, no one ever offered to refill our glasses, so it felt somewhat self-service throughout the meal. Overall, a solid 4-star experience, but definitely not a 5.“

“The OpenTable reservations and the hotel's own reservations are untrustworthy, if not deliberately deceitful. I recently tried to get a reservation for 2 on Saturday evening and was told that my only choices were 5:30 PM or 7:45 PM. I opted for 5:30 PM. When I left at 7:15 PM there were 8 vacant tables for 2 persons. This is hardly the way to attract repeat customers.“

“This is the first time that my wife and I have eaten at the Gaucho Grill…and the food was truly outstanding. With fresh calamari, empanadas, bread, and two salads, we felt as if we were eating like royalty. Better yet, Rodrigo, our waiter, was superb. Along with taking the time to explain various menu dishes to us, Rodrigo was very courteous and personable. All in all, given such great food and service, we will be returning to the Gaucho Grill soon.“

“Our waitress took too long to take our order. Our food arrived too long after placing it. We ended up having another waitress close to receiving our check and we had to update our new waitress with our order. I also had to repeat our desert 2 times before actually getting it.“

“I used to come here about once a month for the fine food and fancy atmosphere. I used to love the steaks and salads and the several rooms with tables. It was a well known place all my life living up here in the foothills. But alas, good things never last. I went to eat a nice meal with my elderly mom and I ordered my usual even though they had changed the rules so you have to order each thing separately I didn't care about that nor the higher prices. I waa just looking forward to a decent streak and veggies. Well when my steak was brought to the table with the vegetables.I noticed that not only was the steak full of so much fat.I could hardly get any meat but the vegetables were cold and after maybe five ten minutes, the waiter came back and I told him, please take this back to the chef and show him the amount of fat that is on this steak.I hardly got any meat at all.And the vegetables were cold when I got them. He came back from the chef and said, well, he's gonna comp.The vegetables, but you're gonna have to pay for your steak. I was furious that they would serve a poor quality of steak and charge a price as if were high quality. I literally had to fight the gristle to get a few measly pieces of steak. It wasn't the money. I was angry that the quality of the meat is was so bad at one of my regular steak places. It made me so mad I stopped going there completely. I wish it were how it was before and am still agonizing over it. Just wanted to vent as the owner hopefully will read this and I beseech him to reach out and prove to me things have turned around. I miss the food and the nice rich atmosphere. If not I guess I will continue my trips to fogo de chat or the Smokehouse or Damon's.“
