“There are several pho places in town but Pho Season stands out by far the best! The ingredients were all fresh and soup was just right without being too rich or greasy. The beef was by far thicker and of higher quality than other places and the meat eggrolls were so delicious that we ordered 10 rolls between the two of us. Mr. Soo, the owner was very kind and pleasant with his service. The place was kept clean which makes the meal time more pleasing. I will definitely have my phone here more often! 😊👍🏼“

The remodeled interior is very welcoming, modern, and has interesting art and motorbikes from Vietnam. Classical music in background (chef's kiss).

Also great that the place serves demi-bottles of reasonably priced wine. Beer's great too.

Our server exuded hospitality, very attentive, and proud to tell us about the chef/restaurateur.

“It's not the best banh mi around, but certainly the best price/quality ratio in Alhambra. The line can be long and you can order ahead (phone), but if you just drop by around noon. Expect a bit of a wait. The owner speaks English, Vietnamese and Cantonese, so walk in with no fear. Coffee is excellent here too.“

We got the house eggrolls, the Kobe syle beef pho and the Filet Mignon pho with the original noodle (you have an option for a fresh fatter noodle) Beyond delicious!!! “Back in October, my friends and I spent a month vacation in Vietnam and we were introduced to Com Tam. We wanted to see if King Com Tam Vietnamese Restaurant is as authentic as we had in Vietnam.

Com tam - Vietnamese broken rice is rice that was broken during the milling process. If you're unfamiliar, broken rice has a couscous-like texture. The broken rice plate options might seem extensive, but it's just rice with various combinations of pork chop, beef, pork, fried bean curd with shrimp paste, egg roll, sausage, shredded pork and skin, and steamed egg loaf. All served with veggies, a small bowl of broth, and fish dipping sauce. The plates run from $12.99 to $20.99 for the 10-item plate. If you don't see exactly the plate combination you're looking for, you can just tell the waiter which items you want and they'll charge accordingly. Just ask if you can swap items.

Not Vietnam authentic, but then again I am no expert but definitely satisfied our cravings and brought back memories of our month long trip. We loved it so much that a month ago during the rainy weather that we went back so we can try the noodle soup/pho. The portions were generous for around $13.99 a bowl. I was craving Bun bo Hue, Vietnamese spicy beef noodle soup and my friends ordered beef pho and hu tieu, a Vietnamese Phnom Penh-style seafood noodle soup with pork and shrimp. It was good but I've had better.

“I absolutely love this spot for Vietnamese food. Every dish I've tried has been consistently flavorful, well-seasoned, and deeply satisfying. My standout favorites include the fried egg rolls, the Banh Mi Bo Kho, and the Bo Luc Lac--each prepared with impressive attention to detail and authentic taste.

There's still so much on the menu I'm excited to explore, so I'll certainly be returning to Pho Hai. An honorable mention goes to their Spring rolls, Vietnamese Iced Coffee and Thai Tea, both of which are wonderfully bold, rich, and balanced.

“Went to K5 on a Friday night since we were craving some Pho (for the first time), and had a great experience. Located in the Eaglerock area (where there are not too many pho options), K5 is one of the pho options you should add to your rotation. Good service, good food (especially on a cold night), and reasonable prices. The location is pretty large, but it gets pretty crowded (at least it was when we were there). Plenty of parking since it is a large plaza. One of the better pho options in the area.

Tip: It was a little crowded on a Friday night so we had to wait a little bit before being seated (not too long, like 5 mins).“

“Found this place on TT! I got the lemongrass beef, with shrimp rolls, and shrimp cake! SO good!!!! So fresh, and a big portion too. The shrimp cake was the best I’ve ever had. The people next to me got the salmon belly and shrimp cake rolls. I will definitely be getting that next time. They also serve beer, wine, and sake which is nice too. “When I first arrived to this restaurant, I didn’t see any other diners and was quite hesitant. But soon enough they proved my ‘pre-thoughts’ wrong.
Definitely one of the best Vietnamese home cooked meals at a restaurant in the area. The flavour is so authentic that can transport you back to the Southern of Vietnam (mien Tay) in a bite. We ordered the lunch set for family and cannot fault a thing. It came with canh chua, ca chien, goi tom thit, ca kho, bap cai chua. Flavour was mouth watering and all very good value for money. This is such a hidden gem. Highly recommend!“

“Saigon Eden of SGV is a midsize Vietnamese restaurant located in a small plaza on Las Tunas ave in San Gabriel. They have a plethora of Pho, vermicelli, rice, appetizers and drinks.

I was craving for healthy supper Pho Veggies or Vermicelli Grilled Chicken. I end up with Pho Veggies-large. And it was delightful and warm. Staff were cordial and professional. Prices are reasonable. Parking was easy. Atmosphere was okay. Overall, I was satisfied with their Pho and service.“

Love the individual hotpot. Yet, I prefer more traditional hotpot without hotdogs, cheese, and spam. I will never order that 3rd infantry division soup, LoL. But definitely the tonkotsu one. “The owner did a really good job adopting some traditional dishes into vegetarian versions, and they have a vegetarian category. The traditional fish sauce is a soy and vinegar alternative for my rice noodles. I tried their #28, vegetarian pho, spring rolls and egg rolls. Really good. Other Vietnamese places hardly have such a big selection.
