“YEDANG is my go-to spot whenever I crave authentic Korean food! The staff here is always attentive. Their side dishes (banchan) were all super fresh and delicious! (Especially loved their japchae & muk) The crab was fresh and the marinade was just right - usually I can't finish a whole crab because it's too salty at other places, but here I could enjoy the whole thing! While it's a bit pricey for the portion size, the quality makes it worth trying. Located in a plaza with parking, though it can get busy at times. The spacious dining area makes it great for family dinners!“

“I am a fan! This place is amazing. We had the Original Mazemen w Chashu, Chashu ramen, and Katsu rice. Everything was just finger-licking, lip-smacking, pants-unzipping good. Skip the dessert and add the rice to Mazemen. You won't regret it. I will definitely be back. Soon.

“I've never met such honest and beautiful people before. This restaurant has some of the best characters in the business. When I say they loaded my plate ,it filled to the brim. food was beyond expectation, which is my compliments to the chef. If this helps you decide to eat at this restaurant, I've done my job.“

“Although the food isn't the best, it's a great place to hang out with friends and family. Draft beer is also available and a variety of appetizers, main dishes, and desserts are available. All the staff working there are friendly. It's also a good idea to stop by for dinner somewhere else and a quick beer. Sometimes, when I have dinner at a restaurant that doesn't serve alcohol, I stop by here and have a light beer.“

“This is a jewel of a place, it's on the southside of the street on Whittier Blvd about a quarter mile west of Beach blvd. Their sushi rolls are excellent and their prices are a bit lower than other sushi places who overcharge for the same faire.
Gunn, the proprietor is the nicest guy and he's humorous and goes out of his way to make you feel welcome every time you come in. The best tasting sushi in the area!

“My husband and I have tried ramen in both Japan and Korea. We couldn't forget the rich and creamy pork bone broth of tonkotsu and miso ramen, so we decided to check out this restaurant, and the broth is simply a masterpiece. For Koreans, this could even be a perfect hangover soup after a night of drinking. The broth is top-notch. We went during lunch, and the prices were very reasonable. I think we'll be coming back often.“

“I tried this place for the first time the other day. I ordered a 3 carne asada taco combo plate. It came with 3 tacos, side of red rice, refried beans, 1 fried yellow pepper, a bag of chips and 1 drink. Over all the food was fresh and very good. The only thing I did not like were the chips. They were heavy, thick and hard. They were not warm. I would have preferred a light crispy warm chip with my order. I threw them away after trying them. The place is a little on the pricy side. But the quality of the food and presentation makes up for it if that is your thing.
The atmosphere was nice. They had the dodger game. I thought that was nice to watch while I was waiting for my take out order to be ready.

Parking: The parking is in a strip mall. When its busy its a hassle to find a parking spot or getting in and out of that place.“

We came last minute to see the Dodger game, obviously back table(still good seats) however the owner came after a table opened up and let us know we can have it! Love the attention to detail!! Small things matter and ended up having probably the best seat in the house!! Doesn't always happen that way, then the cherry on top we ended up seeing one of the best Dodger games ever!!“

Have been coming here for 9 years but this place has been open way longer than that. My husband has been coming here since he was a kid. “So am not from this area but I do come this way to pick up something Around here and I love tempura from the outside doesn’t look like much is a nice small place once inside they have a medium amount of choices the price is not that bad I love the veggie tempura and the California rolls, but they do carry other stuff including macaroon ice cream! I’ve gone 3 times now in a month and so far the taste remains the same except yesterday I felt that they didn’t give me the usual amount of veggies but overall the food is good and not pricey!I also noticed sketches on the wall and a folder on the counter am assuming those are from a local artist I believe you can purchase them!“

Besides the fact that they offer different sizes so that you don't get stuck with a large one if you're celebrating with a smaller group, the flavor and texture of the rosca was delicious as if it had just been baked (although i bought it at 7pm). Lots can be said about a previous post I read on this place and I’ll just say that If you want to make your sandwich at home then go for it LOL.
