“Was brought here on recommendation. I had no idea what to expect was honestly wasn’t sure about it.

Once we ordered and the food came out I was pretty delighted to see everything on the plate. Ate it down real fast. Flavors worked well together and the texture of the ramen was soft yet held together and it was an amalgamation of greatness. I poured the vinegar on it and am usually not a fan of vinegar in general, decided to do it anyway and was really happy on how much it transformed the ramen without being overwhelming. Lastly, a cup of rice was dumped into the remainder I cleaned it up.

Aside from my bf small alergy reaction, food was amazing 10 out of 10 fish tacos, shrimp tacos, shrimp burrito and ceviche were amazing. The yellow seasoned peppers were the cherry on top for me. I really liked the warm lighting and ambiance of the restaurant. Our server, Carolyn, was really nice. She apologized that several of the things we had wanted to order were not on the menu due to popular demand. We ordered a decent spread of food, including salad, sushi, udon, chicken karaage, and bulgogi. Everything was pretty good. The workers wrote my friend's name on a placard on the table and even gave us free vanilla ice cream for his birthday! The total came out to $60 for both of us, with tip. Standard food, nothing spectacular. I'd come back for the good vibes (cool anime wall murals!) and maybe to try some other dishes.“

Salvador is a sushi chef with over 30 years of experience and is already a well-known sushi chef in North Orange County.
Salvador makes special sushi dishes for his regular customers, and I especially love his ”Salvador Special Roll.“
The Salvador Special Roll, featuring salmon and mango on top of a spicy tuna roll, is simple yet mucho delicioso. It’s been a while since I‘ve had it, but it was still tasty! 😋

“We get all our birthday day cakes from Lucky Treats, it’s just our immediate go to for the last several years. Michelle and her mom Denise are at the helm, they’re both very friendly and knowledgeable. We’ve learned from experience with other bakeries that a delicious moist cake and beautiful piping don’t always go together. “This place is GREAT! Not OK, not good… GREAT! I’ve been to all the teriyaki spots up and down Whittier Blvd, and you simply aren’t going to get a better deal than this. Very fair prices for very large portions, but which always means very happy customers.

Customer service is excellent, they have a soda fountain with Coke products (and cans for other brands), a few tables inside so good for a quick lunch/dinner or takeout.

This place is an absolute no-brainer for simple, great Japanese food. If you’ve never been, you need to come, and if you have been, you need to come back. Skip the Flame Broiler’s and Panda Expresses and be happy that you came here instead.“

“Stopped by for a quick lunch after my pickleball game at La Habra. Got promptly seated and I appreciated the booth seating.

They have a good selection of Sushi, Udons, Grilled Dishes and Ramen. I opted to get a Sushi and Udon and it came out very well. The place has a good ambience for a quick lunch spot and service was on the mark !

“My friends told me this place has improved a lot compared to before, so I decided to visit again after a while — and I’m so glad I did. Every single ingredient tasted incredibly fresh and high quality. When the ingredients are this good, there’s really no need to say much about the flavor — it speaks for itself.

From the onions, lemons, and bean sprouts to every garnish on the plate, everything was perfectly clean and fresh, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The pho broth was especially impressive — light, clean, and not greasy at all, making it very easy and comfortable to eat. You can truly taste the care put into it.

The spring rolls were also outstanding. Fresh, light, and perfectly balanced in flavor — I would give them top marks without hesitation.

I often go to a well-known pho restaurant in La Mirada, but honestly, I would rate this place even higher. Definitely coming back again!

I like that they had silverware instead of plastic utensils, and everything feels homey and thoughtful. There's silver cups for water, and a lid for the trash. The trash is the sort that does not originally come with a lid, they made one out of wood so flies don't fly in and bother everyone.“

The texture was more like soaked rice than porridge, which felt unfamiliar at first, but it grew on me. The chopped abalone and well-balanced seasoning made it enjoyable, and the portion lasted me about three meals.

The yeolmu kimchi on the side was especially delicious and soothing—I’d even buy it on its own. Overall, it really helped settle my stomach.“

Have been coming here for 9 years but this place has been open way longer than that. My husband has been coming here since he was a kid. “What a cute little cafe and bakery. They have my favorite: danishes. But had to skip on that…this time. In the neighborhood for an oil change down the street at Cornerstone auto Solutions. Was hungry for a sandwich. Searched for food LOL and saw this cafe down the street. Walking distance. so got me a turkey bacon on croissant and super delicious. They have calm jazzy music playing in the background. Total of 3 sets of chairs and table, 2-outside and 1-inside. Such a cute Cute CUTE place to have a snack or some time for yourself. I needed this. The ladies are so sweet and kind. Fast service. Just such a great a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Lots can be said about a previous post I read on this place and I’ll just say that If you want to make your sandwich at home then go for it LOL. Super satisfied and $10-15 price for sandwich and drink is decent. :-)
