“I've had a lot of favorite breweries over the years but this one is probably my current one. The beers are frankly unbearable. They have many German and European beers, and what they have rotatates. But they're always sure to have some from every part of the beer spectrum - light to dark, hoppy to good. The beer tastes the best in the city.
They don't serve food, but they share a courtyard with a couple spots that do. Food is closed 1 day/week. The other days, there is always something going on - live music, trivia, canasta - it's a lively and great place. Highly recommend checking it out! (On a day that the other Business (food) are open.
Street parking is ample if you're willing to walk ~1

“This place is amazing. Very dog friendly. The burgers at the adjacent food stand are very tasty. I think the best aspects are obviously the beer and also the service. “I haven't been to this brewery for the past 2 years. Not any falt of the brewery just not near where I live. Stopped yesterday and, yes, the beer is still rock solid. I've never been disappointed in Hopnonymous. The staff was friendly and helpful. The place was cleaning comfortable. 👍👍“

“The team who works here is amazing. The beer has depth and character and the Hazy's.... OMG! Top notch! It is a San Diego must see/taste brewery. One thing that stands out as well is that the have sours but not traditional ones. They are not sour at all, more like a fruit drink. I can now bring my non beer loving friends with me and enjoy. There are two other breweries attached to this one as well. Three breweries who all have specialties so whatever type of beer you like you will find it it.“

“I'm a newbie when it comes to brewing beer. I found Home Brew Mart while investigating the brewing scene. I'm so glad I found them. I started by taking a beginner brewing class that taught me all the basics I needed to start brewing. I have now brewed several batches of beer using their recipes posted online. The guys are duper knowledgeable and have helped me successfully brewing my own beer. If I have questions, they have answers. If you are looking to start home brewing or just need a local source of ingredients and knowledge, you should consider Home Brew Mart. I'm definitely glad I did!“

“Came here to meet a group of friends to watch the Iran vs Egypt soccer game and Padres vs Dodgers game. The upstairs was closed, but the downstairs was packed with people both inside and outside.
The bartender was great. The beer selection was solid, and I really enjoyed their hazy IPAs.
We also tried their bbq pizza, and it was a standout. The crust was super crispy, and the flavor overall was really good.
Overall, this is a lively spot that’s perfect for watching a game. Tons of TVs throughout, great beer, and excellent pizza. It’s got a fun, social vibe and is an easy place to hang out with friends for a game or a casual night out.“

The second aspect are the amazing people i've met and shared conversation and drinks with, and finally the great funk, hiphop, and jazz music that spin on their vinyl player. Everything, along with Koo and his staff at the helm are what make Koobrew my go to spot to sit down at to enjoy a good drink and all the while, talk with and connect to the people around me. kooさんなんと良い場所です！！“

“I love this location. Been a handful of times. My first visit, was the first real time I have been introduced to Gluten Free beer. I have family friend who I believe is a “Celiac” and this brewery is one of the few that he can enjoy. I visited the Encinitas location, staff and vibe was off the day I went but here it’s always fun. Beer has gotten a little stale for me considering they always have the same product. So my only critique would be is experiment with more beers haha.“

“Came in Saturday night with my girlfriend. We watched a bit of drama unfold with another female patron, and somehow got pulled into it. The staff stayed friendly and professional the whole time. It ended up being such a wild, weird experience we’ll never forget. but the beer was on point and the two guys there were super chill. We’ll definitely come back here on our travels.“

“Came here with a couple friends on a Friday evening and had a really nice time. The brewery had a relaxed vibe and plenty of seating, which made it easy to hang out for a while. I tried a flight so I could sample a few different beers, and there wasn't one I disliked. The staff was friendly and gave a few recommendations without being pushy. It did get a bit busy later in the night, but the atmosphere stayed fun and welcoming. I'd definitely come back and try some of the seasonal brews next time.“

“Knotty Brewing Co. had a relaxed, friendly vibe that I really enjoyed. The craft beers were fresh and full of character, and the staff seemed passionate about what they pour. It’s a casual spot where you can sit back, try a few different brews, and just enjoy the laid-back atmosphere.“
“Societe Brewing Company was our second brewery stop during a visit to San Diego. It's located in a large, industrial-style building with plenty of open seating and a casual, relaxed atmosphere. Since it was our first time here, we ordered two flights of four beers, choosing a few ourselves and asking the staff member helping us to fill the remaining spots with some of their popular selections. He was friendly and gave us a brief explanation of each beer.
Although I generally prefer lighter beers these days, I enjoyed everything we sampled, including the stronger 7.3% ABV Labyrinth. My favorite was their 4.5% Light Beer, a refreshing lager-style option that was more in line with my taste.
We also ordered a pizza from the food truck outside, and pizza and beer turned out to be a hard combination to beat! Overall, Societe offered good beer, helpful service, and a spacious, easygoing environment. A flight is a great choice for first-time visitors who want to explore the selection.“

“Great spot on the water for craft beer and food. Go with your favorite or try a variety in a flight. Great mix of malty, roasty, and hoppy beers, or if you're into the lighter varieties they have those too. Keep in mind there are two sets of taps, one downstairs and one upstairs, and both have patio seating. Beers are all pretty solid!“
“We had our wedding reception upstairs at Mission Brewery and it was the best decision ever. The manager Eric went above and beyond for us and made something so easy. Our bartender, I believe his name was George was so so great and also made our night to remember. Parking is nearby, close to many hotels, lots of space, and great beers. Highly recommend booking all of your events at Mission Brewery.“

“I've had most of the menu and have loved every beer I've tried here. Today was overcast and cold, perfect weather for a stout. The Gambino didn't disappoint. It is well balanced and smooth. The Coco Ono a Pina colada hazy IPA. Also an awesome choice tith the pineapple nicely complementing the hops and the coconut being present but not overwhelming. Definitely stop by and have a taste“

It has a rustic interior, friendly staff, and an impressive list of craft beers — both local and international. The bartender was super knowledgeable and let me sample a few before I picked my favorite. They also had board games available, which made the night even more fun. Solo or with friends — great place to chill.“

“Best food of my trip! This made my birthday. We had carne asada fries as an appetizer, margaritas, and pork chops. The potatoes were excellent. And they brought me out a very nice wine pairing to my desert for my birthday. The server was good . I would recommend.“

“So I was not convinced this was an actual place upon first look at the reviews, but indeed it is and a nice place at that. It's small but cozy, with parking nearby. Located in the UCSD grad housing, you're guaranteed interesting people and the bartender is a lively welcoming person. Well curated selection of beverages and trivia on Wednesdays.“
