“First time here, was pretty good. You get assigned a table; then you go up and grab your bowl to make your hotpot (at least a pound) . You can get a second bowl for skewers and hand it to the counter , I would recommend getting all your hotpot stuff first then going back for the skewers so its easier on your hands. Would go back again.“

“The pho and food was savory. The issue that i had was with the staff. The waiter didn't write down one of the order. Had to wait additional 15 minutes to get the rest of the food. The other waiter was in a rush and spilled broth from pho down our isle to the guest down from us. He mopped up the broth but had a giant fan blowing the floor directly towards us. It was disrespectful.“

I love the assortment of banchan with each meal! The japchae and kimchi were so fresh and yummy.

We wanted to try items outside their usual bbq menu and I am so glad we did. From the jjajangmyeon noodles (my dad was eating this up - so good), to the braised beef rib soup (meat was following off the bone), to the dolsot bibimbap (generous portions) to even the steamed egg and cheese corn - everything was so good.

The service was great. Even though it was only one lady serving and hosting, food still came out quickly and she was so sweet showing us which sauces were for what dish.

Parking was a little hectic today for some reason but there are plenty of spots in the area. It was nice to see this place packed even on a Monday afternoon!“

“A true Biden gem in the heart of Pacific Beach. The moment you walk you are nicely greeted with a warm welcome. I have to be seated your drink orders right away and the menu is provided. After several minutes, I ordered the main dishes.

For starters, I had the house salad with peanut dressing. For the main dish I had the medium red curry. The food was real authentic. The food portions were generous. Everything that I tried, and truly home cooking flavoring made from the heart.

You could not ask for a nicer staff from the minute you arrive the minute you leave.

Was slightly disappointed with the spice rating because my wife and I love Szechuan cuisine but their “5 star” spicy was not spicy at all. The other thing I was disappointed with was my server was not very attentive and went a long time without water and not checking in with us to see if we needed anything else. She came and took our order then dropped it off and never came back. Atmosphere very quaint and intimate. Definitely sit in the patio. Overall, new favorite Szechuan place.
