“We ordered a sandwich and chicken pancakes, which they kindly replaced with turkey upon our request. This came with a small portion of soup. We really liked that the portions overall were generous. Everything was delicious. The coffee was a bit bitter for me personally as I prefer a smoother taste, but the owners were very polite and the atmosphere was pleasant. The food was tasty and authentic. I truly recommend visiting. I am not sure why the rating is so low, but I highly recommend giving this place a try.“

We got a bunch of almost every flavor they offer, and they were all so good - our guests were raving about them and kept asking where we got them from. It's perfectly constructed: ripe avocado, fluffy scrambled eggs, cheese, chorizo, and an onion-pasilla pepper relish, all wrapped in a warm, soft tortilla. The flavors are bold and balanced, and it’s finished with a smoky chipotle aioli that adds just the right amount of kick.

One of the things I love most is that it doesn’t include potatoes—just pure flavor, no filler. I keep coming back for this burrito, and it never misses.

“We were in the Walnut Creek and were craving piroshkis. We knew about Babushka Market & Deli and so we went there and ordered 6 piroshkis. The lady named Lyubov behind the counter is one of the nicest person we have ever met. She was very helpful and explained how they have something like 16 or 17 different kinds/varieties of piroshkis. We ordered 3 beef and 3 beef with jalapeno and they warmed them up for us on the spot. These are baked piroshkis, not deep friend, so they were not oily like the other kind. They were filled with a huge portion of meat with perfect seasoning with a huge beef flavor. They are literally the perfect sandwich and for a very reasonable price. We were very impressed by the quality of them and even one is enough to fully satisfy your hunger. As we were sitting at the table inside eating them, gentleman at the table next to us starting talking to us about the piroshkis. It turned out he was the owner of the Market and his name was Leo and he started it 29 years ago and runs it with his family. He told us that they buy their meat fresh and grind it on site and use all fresh and good ingredients, which explains why the piroshkis are so fantastic. We talked with Leo for a long time about the olden days, living in other countries, and our common experiences and ancestries…it was a wonderful conversation which was a perfect complement to the best piroshkis in the Bay Area in our opinion. If you haven’t tried this place we urge you to stop buy and buy one, which I think for sure after you eat it, you’ll want to buy a few more to take home. 5 Stars to this place…the best!“

“Hands down, this place deserves more than 5 stars. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. The seating was comfortable. The decor was inviting and relaxing with soft lighting and interesting artwork. The food was amazing! We would highly recommend the veggie lovers, the green curry, Thai basil fried rice with tofu, the catfish and the sticky mango rice. Parking was a little challenging, but well worth it. “Always wanted to go to Lever. I work right near here, and I came here on New Year’s Eve.

It is a very cute coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Parking can be difficult as it is small and tight, but there is parking in the back.

The coffee was great here. Their lavender ice latte was amazing. I believe they are known for their syrups, and I also got to try their orange rosemary syrup. It was unique, but I think the safe bet is to go with the lavender syrup.

It can get very packed here, and they seem to have a smaller staff. Things could move slow, but be patient as it is worth the wait.

“A friend ordered my dream cake for my 75th birthday party. The Death Star with carrot cake base. The bakery was willing to follow my Grandmother's recipe by adding golden raisins and crushed pineapple. It was beyond delicious! And the extra cake froze beautifully and is still as delicious as when first cut. The bakery did an awesome job replicating the Death Star into a cake. The cake made my birthday and everyone who attended the party thought the cake amazing. I am so grateful to Ladyfingers for making my 75th birthday so memorable. I will never forget my Death Star cake.“
