“Ordering is a little confusing. There is a monitor that allows you the option of dine in or carryout. But then you need to go to front to pay before they make the order.
Food was ok. Yellow rice was a little dry, and the chicken thigh was tough and dry. Egg rolls were very good. People were very nice. Probably should have gotten the pho.“

“Prob one of the better Vietnamese places in Lake Forest area. Been coming here for years and they never disappoint. They always take good care of me and make sure I get extra onions and veggies and sprouts for my Pho. There is a reason this place has been here for so long and is still always busy. “We ate at Pho So 1 in Lake Forest and ordered a few dishes, including brisket pho, BBQ spring rolls (#4), vermicelli bowl (#89), and #57. The total came to about $72, which felt a bit pricey—but the food was tasty.

Dish #89 was light and refreshing. It’s perfect for a warm day for anyone who prefers clean flavors.

“I have been eating here since 2002 while still in high school. First time ever eating Pho here. These 3 Viet guys from my classes introduced me to Pho at this place. Been going here whenever I’m craving Pho or Viet food in the Irvine area. The most flavorful Pho broth out of any Viet restaurant I’ve ever ate in California.“

“Wanted to get Pho for lunch, this place was highly rated so popped in for food. It’s in a strip mall and not in a fancy location. Parking was easy and able to get seated very quickly for lunch.
The lady who served our party was welcoming and efficient. I think she is the owner.
We all loved the food we had. I liked the beef Pho which was very flavorful. My wife liked the chicken cabbage salad very much. Would recommend the Thai iced tea too, not so much the iced coffee.
We had a coconut too, was really good.

“I stopped by Happy Pho for lunch on a rainy day. The service was fast and efficient, which was great for a busy lunchtime.
The portion size was generous, definitely good value. However, the rice noodles were overcooked. Other than that, everything else was good.
If they improve the noodle texture, it would be a solid spot for a quick pho fix.“

“Pho Ha Noi earns 4* from me. If I lived in Garden Grove, it might be a 3* rating relative to the other pho places that abound in that Little Saigon, but for South County, it is a solid 4* relative to the others around. When I take my father, who lives in LWV out for pho, this is his favorite one. I usually get Rare Steak & Tendon pho or a Broken Rice dish with shredded pork and charbroiled pork. Both are always more than acceptable, but the one thing I miss is the fried egg on top of the rice, that my favorite Vietnamese place in San Diego does“

We hosted an informal rehearsal dinner here on a Thursday evening for a group of 27, and everything was fantastic. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, responsive, and professional.
The restaurant is located in a beautiful shopping complex with plenty of parking, which made logistics easy for our guests. Since I live in the SF Bay Area, I coordinated the event remotely with Ken via phone and text. He was amazing—super helpful in planning a menu that fit our budget and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Ken and his team even went out of their way to accommodate one of our gluten-free guests, which we really appreciated.
The food was delicious—from the individually prepared, fresh and flavorful Vietnamese shrimp spring rolls to the hearty combination chow mein, everything was a hit. The Garlic Tofu & Vegetables were especially popular with the group, and my personal favorite was the Black Pepper Steak.
They set up a private patio area for us that felt intimate yet still connected to the restaurant’s relaxed SoCal vibe. The white tablecloths and flower arrangements added a lovely touch to our pre-wedding celebration.
Everyone in our party had a great time—great food, warm atmosphere, and top-notch service.

“My fiancé and I ate at Pesto a few weeks ago and it was really a nice experience. The service was friendly, the food came out quickly and it tasted very good. One thing that could be frustrating for some is that the patio area is a little snug, and would be great any other time, but could deter some during COVID. I would definitely love to eat there again!“

The food? Absolutely amazing. Whether it's a bowl of pho on a chilly day or one of their flavorful rice or noodle dishes, every bite is a delight. I’ve tried a variety of dishes here and have never once been disappointed—each meal is crafted with care and authenticity.
