“Had a wonderful evening out with my wife at Ironwood Cellars in Laguna Hills. We had reservations for 5:30 p.m. and arrived early. We were greeted by Joe, the manager on duty, who was very kind, professional, and welcoming. Art was our server and is amazingly gifted in customer service professionalism and overall people skills. Yes, showing the love. We started with tequilla drinks from the bar, and we each had a wedge salad. Joe sent us over a wonderful Agnolotti appetizer as well, which was more than kind. The ambiance was positive and upbeat, perfect for the evening. Sergio was also quite attentive in making sure our table was serviced properly. We ordered our entrees with my wife having the halibut dinner, and I had the famous giant meatball dish. Both meals were hot & tasty and presented well. We had a terrific time, and Art surprised us with a complimentary dessert 🍨 with berries. The restaurant is so nice and offers an outdoor patio and bar seating as well. The wine list is extensive, as are the craft beers. Highly recommended.”

I found this place after an appointment in the area, got four different macarons and one of the honey cakes. Wow. Insane, everything. The strawberry raspberry and the Dubai flavor macarons were far and away my favorite, but everything was insane. “This food truck is tucked in the same lot as George’s Episcopal Church. Pro tip: map the church so you don’t get lost. There are several eateries in that lot, but don’t get distracted just look for the green food truck and you’ll know you’ve found the right spot!

I came here right after my workout and ordered food to go. OMG, I had no idea the tacos were humongous! They are literally the size of my palm spread out! Jeeesuz!

I ordered three tacos:

Gobernador: I didn’t get to it until the next day, but the shrimp were so big and juicy, and that Chipotle aioli? Pure genius. I could put that on everything!
Octopus: The only one I ate fresh that day and oh my goodness, flavor explosion! The melted cheese, the seasoning, the texture… everything about it is 10/10!
Spicy Shrimp: I accidentally doubled up on shrimp tacos so I saved this one for the next day too, still delicious, still worth it.

Service can take a little while since there’s only one person taking orders and they’re cooking everything fresh in the truck, but trust me , it’s absolutely worth the wait!

Who would’ve thought a little food truck could make such a big impact? Don’t sleep on this hidden gem please come and taste the goodness for yourself!”

“Well originally I didn’t like going to this place because the front person was not very friendly. However we decided to give this place another chance when they introduced their new spicy flavor. Now we either order it online or subversive will go and pick up our order because the new flavor is delicious. It has become our new work favorite.”

“I am sure the service, atmosphere and probably even the food is much better if you show up an hour or more before closing but after showing up 5-10 minutes prior to them closing, my experience was waaaay less (more 🤔😆🙃😉) then par. Abstract golf joke there☝🏼. Anyway, I waited 5-10 minutes to have my order taken because a dude spilled water all over a table. Instead of taking my order then wiping the water dry, the main guy did the opposite. Then a gal cut infront of me in line until her friend told her I was ahead of her but after assessing the situation I let them pay for the ice cream ahead of me so we can get them out of the relatively cramped quarters. Finally, guy took my order but was very rude, rushed me and clearly seemed upset because of the spilled water near closing especially when he has other customers waiting. Why you being rude to me bro? I pulled up an hour ago to charge my EV in the back lot and when I saw y'all had no public restrooms I walked elsewhere for #1, then returned for the lox sandwich 5-10 minutes prior to closing.

Anyway, I paid like $15 for a lox bagley and $3 for halva chocolate bar. I did not like this halva stuff but the lox sandwich was fair. I did see any added salt nor pepper to the lox but it tasted OK to good.

Overall, the place is way overpriced for what you get and the service at least from my experience made it worse. The guy was friendly when I left but I just did not feel welcome the first 20 minutes.

On a personal note I appreciate Kosher delis and halal restaurants or both in one and hope to visit more places of this nature.”

When we realized this location was closing in 10 minutes, we were hesitant to go in because the young lady was sweeping the floor. I work in a service industry as well so I understand how 'last minute' guests can be 😉. She was quick to make eye contact with us as soon as we walked in. She also stopped cleaning right away to service us with a smile. She was friendly & patient and said we would be able to get another coupon like the one we used for my birthday if we complete a survey. Filling out this survey is less about the coupon but more about Carissa. Wonderful young lady with great work ethic and a warm demeanor. Great hire, Nothing Bundt Cakes Laguna Hills! “We eat at Polly’s Yorba Linda quote often and are always happy with our food and the great service! However, recently we have been very disappointed that Polly’s has discontinued two menu items that we always enjoy! We love your dinner salads and always try to include one with our meals! But, recently you have stopped offering ITALIAN DRESSING, and that was a horrible decision, as far as we are concerned! Couldn’t you at least have some little single serve packets of it available, when someone requests it? The second choice that we are missing is ENGLISH MUFFINS, which used to be offered with the breakfast menu as a bread choice! These were bad decisions, as far as we are concerned, and has made us choose another restaurant on a few occasions, now! Especially, for the Italian dressing!”

The refrigerated case holds so many different choices from a single serve Opera cake to a seasonal pumpkin mousse that's glazed orange and round. There's even an assortment of whole cakes and fruit tarts.
Many more visits will be required to enjoy these treats along with the cookies both Turkish specialties and homey favorites. Pistachios galore neatly decorated my favorites.
Don't forget your coffee and ask for a sprinkling of cardamom on top which was offered and enjoyed!”
