“I really really wanted to give it five stars. I loved the vibe and most importantly how fresh the seafood was. The way the food was prepared shows that they take pride in doing their job. Our order had octopus and shrimp ceviche, which was full of juicy pieces of each generously served. We also asked if they served chips and guacamole, not on the menu but they happily and quickly made it and served with blue corn chips. For entree, my husband got Baja fish taco and I had spicy octopus and shrimp taco. The tacos were so well stuffed it was impossible to pick them up to eat. Our cup runneth over! LOL trust me, you don't need to order more than one taco. The portions are so generous, and the seafood is fresh and high quality. Service was friendly and speedy. Great people, great little business, I truly recommend everyone go support them. The only thing I take points off is the Baja fish taco was flavorless according to my husband. I didn't try it, but he really didn't like it. My food was excellent minus being over seasoned with salt and proportion of tortilla to meat. But all in all, good restaurant, should try.”

“Had a wonderful evening out with my wife at Ironwood Cellars in Laguna Hills. We had reservations for 5:30 p.m. and arrived early. We were greeted by Joe, the manager on duty, who was very kind, professional, and welcoming. Art was our server and is amazingly gifted in customer service professionalism and overall people skills. Yes, showing the love. We started with tequilla drinks from the bar, and we each had a wedge salad. Joe sent us over a wonderful Agnolotti appetizer as well, which was more than kind. The ambiance was positive and upbeat, perfect for the evening. Sergio was also quite attentive in making sure our table was serviced properly. We ordered our entrees with my wife having the halibut dinner, and I had the famous giant meatball dish. Both meals were hot & tasty and presented well. We had a terrific time, and Art surprised us with a complimentary dessert 🍨 with berries. The restaurant is so nice and offers an outdoor patio and bar seating as well. The wine list is extensive, as are the craft beers. Highly recommended.”

“By chance, my wife and I had stopped for lunch at Hai Master Restaurant and discovered that this restaurant is definitely a cuisine that we HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The prepared food distinguishes their dishes from the regular Chinese restaurant and is a taste that is incredibly delicious. The owner and chef is definitely one of a kind that incorporated the taste of her original province in China with her own spin. Tammy is the owner and chef and she just hired another chef with skills preparing Sichuan dishes if you want spicy food. This restaurant is becoming more popular each day because the restaurant is more packed every time we come there. “My daughter and I went here for the first time yesterday for lunch. I ordered the Tostada, which was fantastic! Really, the best one I had ever had anywhere. My daughter ordered the lunch special taco plate and I took the same order home to my husband. They both loved it and my husband was so impressed that we decided to go back soon.”

My all-time favorite sandwich shop! We returned for the fabulous Breakfast sandwich on ciabatta bread and My Favorite Turkey Sandwich with spicy relish. So divine!! Also the cold Spanish Latte and new Dubai Matcha Latte added such a nice finish. What more can I say? Excellent, friendly staff in a bright cheery location that is freeway close. Check it out!!

What an absolute gem!! The Rosemary Ciabatta bread is utterly delicious; it enveloped my Favorite Turkey sandwich and was a side on the Farmer's Market Kale Salad that I recently ordered. Both were fresh and tasty! The pasta salad, orzo salad and potato salad were all refreshing and light too. Finally, the white chocolate macadamia nut cookie was a true delight.

Be sure to check out this unassuming but nicely renovated and super friendly sandwich shop next time you are in Laguna Hills! You won't be disappointed!”

I found this place after an appointment in the area, got four different macarons and one of the honey cakes. Wow. Insane, everything. The strawberry raspberry and the Dubai flavor macarons were far and away my favorite, but everything was insane. “06.12.25 update: Some places are just worth visiting even with the extra drive. Maki-Yaki Express here in Laguna Hills is definitely a very good place for sushi. Same owners - very nice and humble two-team folks! Excellent array of dishes on their menu. I'm picky when it comes to pricing but if the quality and freshness are top notch, then I'm good with paying the price. Deeleeciousness on food for sure! The atmosphere inside fits with the adjacent stores. People come for the food anyway. Huge plus if owners are nice to customers👏👏👏

Reasonable prices and fairly quick service. A few of my favorites are salmon-mango roll, mango-avocado salad, shrimp tempura udon, jessica roll, shrimp tempura. Very accommodating on platter orders. Place is small in size, although not a place to impress your girl. This is one of THE places to go for good food!”

“I am sure the service, atmosphere and probably even the food is much better if you show up an hour or more before closing but after showing up 5-10 minutes prior to them closing, my experience was waaaay less (more 🤔😆🙃😉) then par. Abstract golf joke there☝🏼. Anyway, I waited 5-10 minutes to have my order taken because a dude spilled water all over a table. Instead of taking my order then wiping the water dry, the main guy did the opposite. Then a gal cut infront of me in line until her friend told her I was ahead of her but after assessing the situation I let them pay for the ice cream ahead of me so we can get them out of the relatively cramped quarters. Finally, guy took my order but was very rude, rushed me and clearly seemed upset because of the spilled water near closing especially when he has other customers waiting. Why you being rude to me bro? I pulled up an hour ago to charge my EV in the back lot and when I saw y'all had no public restrooms I walked elsewhere for #1, then returned for the lox sandwich 5-10 minutes prior to closing.

Anyway, I paid like $15 for a lox bagley and $3 for halva chocolate bar. I did not like this halva stuff but the lox sandwich was fair. I did see any added salt nor pepper to the lox but it tasted OK to good.

Overall, the place is way overpriced for what you get and the service at least from my experience made it worse. The guy was friendly when I left but I just did not feel welcome the first 20 minutes.

On a personal note I appreciate Kosher delis and halal restaurants or both in one and hope to visit more places of this nature.”

“We eat at Polly’s Yorba Linda quote often and are always happy with our food and the great service! However, recently we have been very disappointed that Polly’s has discontinued two menu items that we always enjoy! We love your dinner salads and always try to include one with our meals! But, recently you have stopped offering ITALIAN DRESSING, and that was a horrible decision, as far as we are concerned! Couldn’t you at least have some little single serve packets of it available, when someone requests it? The second choice that we are missing is ENGLISH MUFFINS, which used to be offered with the breakfast menu as a bread choice! These were bad decisions, as far as we are concerned, and has made us choose another restaurant on a few occasions, now! Especially, for the Italian dressing!”

“The Ube Matcha is a popular drink. It ran out by the time that I got here by 5pm so I got the Strawberry Matcha instead. Still a delicious drink. I finished it in its entirety. At some points I wondered if I was just drinking milk but there's a good strawberry matcha flavor. I appreciate how the wifi is displayed prominently at the front of the shop. You can also pay to paint some figurines of your choice. The cheezy croc is also fun to try at least once. It didn't have as much custard as I would have liked. Employees are willing to make adjustments if you request it.”

“great food, I usually get it door dashed to me when I am at the terminal. only thing I want changed is the ability to remove the Pico de gaio from the breakfast burrito. I am one of the odd ball humans that cilantro taste like soap to. and my burrito was amazing until I got to the Pico de gaio and the cilantro in it. made the rest of my burrito un-eatable. Other wise amazing food every time I have ordered”
