“Had a wonderful evening out with my wife at Ironwood Cellars in Laguna Hills. We had reservations for 5:30 p.m. and arrived early. We were greeted by Joe, the manager on duty, who was very kind, professional, and welcoming. Art was our server and is amazingly gifted in customer service professionalism and overall people skills. Yes, showing the love. We started with tequilla drinks from the bar, and we each had a wedge salad. Joe sent us over a wonderful Agnolotti appetizer as well, which was more than kind. The ambiance was positive and upbeat, perfect for the evening. Sergio was also quite attentive in making sure our table was serviced properly. We ordered our entrees with my wife having the halibut dinner, and I had the famous giant meatball dish. Both meals were hot & tasty and presented well. We had a terrific time, and Art surprised us with a complimentary dessert 🍨 with berries. The restaurant is so nice and offers an outdoor patio and bar seating as well. The wine list is extensive, as are the craft beers. Highly recommended.”

“We absolutely love Brodino! The clean, functional ingredients are a huge reason we keep coming back. It’s hard to find products that are both nutritious and genuinely delicious, but Brodino nails it.

The Golden Chicken Curry soup is a 10/10 in our house. Not only do I love it, but it’s also a favorite with my toddler and even my picky eater husband, which says a lot! It’s comforting, flavorful, and made with ingredients I feel good about serving my family.

The prepared food distinguishes their dishes from the regular Chinese restaurant and is a taste that is incredibly delicious. The owner and chef is definitely one of a kind that incorporated the taste of her original province in China with her own spin. Tammy is the owner and chef and she just hired another chef with skills preparing Sichuan dishes if you want spicy food. When we realized this location was closing in 10 minutes, we were hesitant to go in because the young lady was sweeping the floor. I work in a service industry as well so I understand how 'last minute' guests can be 😉. She was quick to make eye contact with us as soon as we walked in. She also stopped cleaning right away to service us with a smile. She was friendly & patient and said we would be able to get another coupon like the one we used for my birthday if we complete a survey. “I have loved their location in Orange for many years and I tried this location recently. Everything was equally amazing, including customer service. Just a heads up- some reviews show food, but when I went they informed me that there are only drinks and baked goods here. No breakfast burritos/avocado toast. Still the best dirty chai in all the land!!”

“This food truck is tucked in the same lot as George’s Episcopal Church. Pro tip: map the church so you don’t get lost. There are several eateries in that lot, but don’t get distracted just look for the green food truck and you’ll know you’ve found the right spot!

I came here right after my workout and ordered food to go. OMG, I had no idea the tacos were humongous! They are literally the size of my palm spread out! Jeeesuz!

I ordered three tacos:

Gobernador: I didn’t get to it until the next day, but the shrimp were so big and juicy, and that Chipotle aioli? Pure genius. I could put that on everything!
Octopus: The only one I ate fresh that day and oh my goodness, flavor explosion! The melted cheese, the seasoning, the texture… everything about it is 10/10!
Spicy Shrimp: I accidentally doubled up on shrimp tacos so I saved this one for the next day too, still delicious, still worth it.

Service can take a little while since there’s only one person taking orders and they’re cooking everything fresh in the truck, but trust me , it’s absolutely worth the wait!

Who would’ve thought a little food truck could make such a big impact? Don’t sleep on this hidden gem please come and taste the goodness for yourself!”

While the broth and ingredients were fresh and tasted good, slicing up just one meatball for it is a cheapskate move. You should be quartering at least 3 meatballs for it to make it worthwhile. Before you ask, yes I know those are beef tendon meatballs and I know where to get them and how much they cost.”

**What we ordered:**

* **Banana Matcha:** This was the standout. If you’re a matcha fan but want something slightly sweet and nostalgic, this is it. It’s creamy, earthy, and that banana flavor isn’t artificial—it’s just right.

* **Banana Bread:** Easily some of the best we’ve had in South OC. It was moist, dense, and paired perfectly with our drinks.

The staff is always super chill, and the aesthetic makes it a great place to hang out or get a quick caffeine fix. It’s definitely our new go-to when we’re in Laguna Hills!

**Tip:** If you’re sensitive to caffeine, their matcha is high-quality and provides a great steady energy boost without the jitters.”

“Pengo Drink Station was a nice quick stop I made with my niece, and it turned out better than expected. We just wanted something cold and sweet, and the place had a lot of fun drink options to choose from, which made it easy for her to pick something she liked.

The service was fast and the staff were friendly, even with a bit of a small line. They were patient while my niece was deciding, which I appreciated. Prices were reasonable too, so it didn’t feel like an expensive treat run.

Some drinks were a bit on the sweeter side, so we had to adjust a little, but once we found the right combo it was really good.”

Ernesto and his son Saul and the sweet ladies wait staff are always pleasant and efficient, and the food is absolutely amazing! We haven’t had any dish which hasn’t been primo quality and exudes freshness. We discovered the quesadillas a while back with hand made corn tortillas. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! This isn’t a snooty place, it’s come as you are and be comfortable.”
