“On a perfect rainy day, I was craving nothing but delicious Ramen so I had to have the pork tongue Katsu Ramen but they have a special here that includes a spicy tuna or salmon roll for $19.99

“Genuine Japanese Ramen with rich Miso taste. No other ramen shops serve this taste and only one in SoCal. It’s worth to spend your time to go to this place if you are Ramen Lover! Now they start serving Shio-Ramen (Clear Salt base soup) with Truffle oil flavor. This one is very good, too!“

“Consistent food quality and portions. Clean and the tables have enough space to order multiple things (unlike Yard House). I live near here so I walk and for that reason I know the parking situation is not the restaurants fault. It's very difficult to find parking so I recommend carpooling. The broths have plenty of flavor, the meat is not thin. I recommend for parties up to 4 since the restaurant usually has people dining in. Overall I hope this restaurant survives the economy since it's worth wanting a restaurant experience.“

“Gomen's ramen is one of our favorite restaurants. There are so many different types of ramen available in this restaurant, compared to the typical tonkotu or shoyu ramen. The fact that they offer free kids ramen keeps me returning! It is highly recommended that you try this place if you are looking for an authentic ramen shop with a variety of flavors.“

“Great food when in the mood for udon noodles or Ramen. Every dish tasted amazing and there was a variety of choices to include appetizers. Plenty of seating after pouring in your order at the kiosk. Once you're number is called you pick up your order and add spices, oils, ginger,etc as you want to your dish. When done you bring your trays to a stacked area (kind of full). Plenty of parking up front and the restrooms were clean.“

“First time I ordered from this place. I was looking for ramen, but when I open the website, my eyes got caught by the Mango salad, and that's what I ordered instead. “I always have a pleasant time at Silverlake Ramen. I always get The Blaze which is one of there spicer ramens with an amazing thick broth that is always the best on cold days. Ever since my friend showed me this place I been hooked ever since and now I take my friends here. I also recommend there dumplings which I always get. The Service here is always nice as well. They do a good job at answering all my questions and have always been kind.“

“We were visiting from Seattle and wandered into Osaka Story completely by accident… which is now the best accident we’ve ever had.

The staff were so kind and friendly that we instantly felt like regulars, even though we’d just walked in off the street. The food was so good we came back the very next day like, “Hey, it’s us again, don’t mind us.” And the beef yaki udon? Chef’s kiss. Truly “I could write poetry about this noodle” levels of good.

We will absolutely be back—probably more often than is reasonable for people who don’t live here.“

You can taste how fresh and authentic every bite is. Nothing is rushed, flavors and textures are perfect.
Customer service is exceptional and the ambient is a chill ambient that allows you to talk with some background music without it being over bearing.

“Stumbled upon this location looking for somewhere to eat and when I tell you the amazing smells drew us in like a siren call??? There was a barely noticeable wait and we spent it eagerly looking at the menu. Service extremely prompt and scrupulous. Place is a bit small and they fill the space, so be prepared for loud noises. Food came out pretty fast, especially for being slammed, and it was all very, very good! Tried the ramen, udon, and one of the 'baked' rolls. 100% would come back to try more of all of the above!“

Delicious! A friend brought me here,since im still fairly new to the area. Its tiny not big, its cozy. It feels like your in a different place,which is cool. Our waiter was great,service was awesome too. We got there just before 5 o'clock. It was full,but we still go seated quickly. The ramen soup bowls are what we both had. It was super yummy! Also had potstickers, California roll..everything was good. We split the bill. Overall really good experience.“

“Had AYCE sushi. Pretty high quality sushi. The fish to rice ratio was very good. The speciality rolls were also very good. AYCE was a little on the pricier side at around $33 but you’re able to order regular menu dishes that were cheaper ($15-$20)“

“I just finished a bulgogi beef bento plate along with California rolls and Jin San spicy ramen. Well I do have some of the California rolls leftover. It was a feast. All quite delicious! Very tasty. This is a take out place with a few small tables. It is a clean place and the staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are Reasonable and the Portions are generous enough.
