“Awsome adress for having a good time! The whole team is doing an excellent job in hospitality. Flexible and friendly they take care of you and give smart advise on wines. Furthermore, the food is not just excellent. The chef learned his job in Italy and has managed to reproduce with local products a real distinguished cooking experience which is realy outstanding in taste and quality. Please go on like this. We will come back!“
“Love this place! I think it's the best and the only one of its kind. The ingredients are sooo fresh. It's an all you can eat, but no doggy bags allowed. You can order takeout. The staff is friendly. It's a pretty casual restaurant.“
“I am a Korean living in Philadelphia. On my first day in LA, I visited for a quick dinner. I ordered Spicy pork, Bulgogi, and Korean fried chicken. I especially recommend the spicy pork! It tasted like eating in Korea. I hope to open a branch in Philly too?“
“This is one of my favorite local businesses. The bbq is juicy and flavorful. The sides are simple and just enough. Nothing extra! I LOVE THE POTATO SALAD! The owner is amazing and such a kind man; doing a lot of good for the community. I encourage everyone to get a taste cause it’s ON and CRACKING!! 10/10“
“I knew it was going to be fire from the crumb of smoked fried chicken breading I had from my bf's plate. I had to take a moment to prepare myself. The fried chicken was so expertly seasoned and crispy. I got the 3 meat combo, pretty reasonably priced for the amount of meat I got. The sauce is awesome and the meat is juicy and tender. I had to take my nose ring off cause I was so serious about this BBQ. Cornbread is so soft and fluffy and tastes like something your grandma made. The writing on the bricks from people all over were not lying. Nice people behind the counter and great vibe. Best food I've had in El Segundo.“
“Well … what to say. I was actually even considering not to post review- little hidden gem like this should be protected:) First meat - beyond believe and 100% THE best BBQ I ever had. Brisket was famous, but the RIBS?!! Wooow… well… I’m taking my hat off, thank you and thanks destiny to let me to find such place.“
“Best thai place I had in awhile. Great value. I had the beef satay and my wife had the chicken satay. Beef satay is bomb. I recommend the cucumber salad over the papaya salad. It had a subway veggies type of taste. My wife is picky and ended up loving it. Be here soon again. 17 bucks average meal.“
“Love the vibes of this place, the food is so yummy and I adore a self serve bar for the side dishes. Usually I feel bad having to constantly ask for more cucumber or rice paper. Love that I can get what I like and as much as I like. The price is better then most other kbbq places. 10/10 recommended to other to try if you are in the area.“
“If you like a lot pepper on your moist brisket, then this place is for you. I spent over $70 on pulled pork and moist brisket. Super rich and fatty. Seasoned to the max. Almost too much. Nothing special to be honest. I felt like I had similar seasoned brisket before. The pickled onions and pickles are a nice break from the moist brisket. I wish the brisket had more smoke flavor. Would I be back? No, but the family who runs it were super nice and friendly“
“Beware that it only opens on Friday afternoon. It's a chill place in the front yard. I got the Tlayuda with moronga. Very delicious and fulfilling. Oaxacan food (southern Mexican food) is rare where I came from (we have mostly northern ones, like Sonora). So this is a novel and special experience for me.“
“To the uninitiated, this place offers the right amount and fare, with quality just being ok, at a location convenient to those that frequent the area. There are other similar places that offer more in terms of selection and quality within a short drive. Service was on the good side and not a concern. Staff was helpful to first time customers. May come back here to avoid the crowd at other places.“
“Very good food at a very good price, the chefs are very professional and cook the food very well, you can have the Mongolian BBQ or the Chinese food buffet, highly recommended if you want to eat well at a very good price, they have parking and they sell a delicious Thai “
“I recently visited Palsaik with my girlfriend and her friends, and let me tell you—it was a trip down memory lane! Having lived in Korea about ten years ago, I was thrilled to find this gem right here. Palsaik specializes in eight different flavors of pork belly, and each bite was like a reunion with old friends. The ambiance was cozy, and the aroma of sizzling meat filled the air. Our server was an absolute star—helpful, attentive, and skilled at cooking the meat to perfection. They made sure our dining experience was extraordinary. From the savory garlic flavor to the sweet honey soy, every slice of pork belly transported me back to those bustling Korean barbecue joints. The nostalgia was real, and I couldn’t help but smile between bites.Whether you’re a seasoned Korean food enthusiast or a curious newcomer, Palsaik is a must-visit. The flavors, the service, and the memories—it’s all there. I’m already planning my next visit because, honestly, where else can you find such a delightful pork belly feast?“
“Must go here right now! Great place to eat over catching up with friends. The food fare is delicious. The skewers are meaty and you’re not getting filled up with carbs. The atmosphere is great and just overall a highly recommended experience. The chef ?? was highly skilled and knew exactly what he was doing. Would go here again and again and again and ag…… ♾️“
“Hey, just wanted to give a shout out and a recommendation for all of you folks out there. For Easter Sunday I ordered the family pack, which came with three meats two sides, came with a full rack of ribs, a bunch of huge, hot links, and an ample portion of brisket, I got the potato salad and baked beans. The baked beans had brisket in the beans very flavorful. This was a great value was enough to feed six people with leftovers so you may want to check this out, great party pack!. As always, everything fresh, well presented and tasty do yourself a favor.“
“Here's a review for Maple Block: Maple Block never fails to impress with its delicious barbecue offerings, but their mashed potatoes with brisket inside stole the show for me. It's a shame that this mouthwatering dish was only a special because it absolutely deserves a permanent spot on the menu. The combination of creamy mashed potatoes and flavorful brisket is a match made in heaven. Hopefully, Maple Block considers adding it permanently to their already fantastic lineup.“
“Clutch in Santa Monica delivered a delightful Taco Tuesday experience! While the shrimp and fish tacos didn't quite hit the mark for me, the Gringa taco stole the show with its delicious hard shell and flavorful fillings. The burger with fries and pulled pork sandwich also received positive reviews from others in our group. The customer service was exceptional, with attentive staff ensuring a nice dining atmosphere. We sipped on refreshing frescas that perfectly complemented our meal. Opting to sit outside, we enjoyed comfortable seating and soaked in the ambiance of Santa Monica. Overall, Clutch offers a fantastic dining option with great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere.“
“We've been coming here for many years. The go-to order for us is the Ox-tongue, Slightly Salted with Green Onions. Other good choices are the Skirt Steak, Liver, Garlic. Be warned it does tend to get smokey inside, so you'll come out smelling like bbq. Plenty of parking in the lot. Reservations help on weekends.“
“came here with my lolo for lunch, and we both left pleasantly surprised! the interior is nice and spacious, and it's comfortable to dine in. we ended up ordering it for takeout, but the cashier was very friendly and entertained us during our wait. the chicken inasal was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were amazing in comparison to other filipino takeout spots in the area. i'd recommend this spot to anyone seeking all around good filipino food. i'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.“
“After visiting a VW show in Long Beach and showing homes in the South Bay we wanted some genuine Filipino food and this smaller restaurant was rated as one of the best... for a good reason. Michelle is an awesome host, very talkative and informative. My mother-in-law was born and raised in Pampanga and the roots of the restaurant are Pampangan as well. Sisig and Silog were very nice, halo halo a welcome palette cleanser. Parking was not difficult, even though we arrived at around 1pm on a Saturday. 10/10, highly recommended!“
“There are vents that go pretty low so you don't get as much smoke smell on your clothes after the meal.Wait time was good (as a walk-in on Sat night ~8pm).The bonchon selection is quite good - the mat kimchi is fresh but still has the fermentation I expect of good kimchi. Not going to review each one, there was a wide selection and refills on all of them.We got the beef combo, with boneless short ribs. The boneless short ribs were my favorite. They do come by to flip your meat (but don't hover over your shoulder).Jazz started off our service but every waiter was friendly and went out of their way to help! I left a good tip for that.Parking: The parking can be limited because there are so many good food places in the same plaza.“
“Been here a few times, have ordered the pho, vermicelli, spring rolls, and a rice plate. I can easily recommend any of these items! My favorite so far has been the combo vermicelli where you can pick two proteins. If you're looking for your pho fix, this is the spot.“
“Seriously the BEST beef jerky I've ever had, HANDS DOWN! Everyone who tastes it freaks and now I have to hide it from my guests! Its fresh, so tender and tastes great! I've always loved jerky but had issues with how TOUGH it was, this stuff is briskett so its SOFT and melts in your mouth! My go-to JERKY for life. You can order online @ bulkbeefjerky.com or go to the shops in Long Beach or San Pedro. They also have a shop in Johnson, TX where its made! YUM...check them out.“
“Truly excellent yakiniku in the heart of Gardena. Legit A5 wagyu, American wagyu, dinner sets they even have oxtail soup, egg soup, great service, perfect seasoning. It costs a grip but it really is worth it. Authentic Japanese Yakiniku. You need to come here.“
“Was referred here today by my coworker and I am not disappointed in his suggestion AT ALL! Ribs and link are so flavorful and seasoned to perfection! The customer service was also amazing as they close at 5pm and I called to order ahead and said I wouldn't get there until 15 after and they said no problem they would wait on me! I really appreciate that type of hospitality because post covid it is so hard to come by service that makes you feel cared for and respected! definitely recommend and will be back!“
“I work nearby and I’ve been craving something sweet so I picked up some banana pudding from here and it was SO GOOD! It was the perfect amount of sweetness, bananas were good and the wafers still had texture to them. If that was just the dessert, I can’t wait to come back for the food!“
“The ambiance and servers were so kind and humorous, the food was absolutely bomb too!! Overall amazing experience as it was my first time at a K-BBQ, and I came with my best friend, her mom, and my sister. Loved this place and hope to come back soon!“
“I lived in S Korea for two years and lived for my next meal in that beautiful country. Eating at Hwang's was like being back in Korea. if you have never had Korean food, this is the place for you to start. If you love Korean food this is one of your best choices.“
“Outstanding professional staff. Both staff servers were courteous, responsive, and really worked to satisfy all customer needs. Food preparation, display, and quality were exceptional. Open fire cooking is enjoyable and we left with full stomachs and are definitely looking forward to a return. BEST PART, it was our Anniversary dinner - what a way to make for a pleasant memory! Thank you to the entire staff.“
“We try to grab a delicious meal here at least once a month. The picanha is delicious and you will be satisfied with all the other cuts, there is something for everyone, no seafood though. Salad buffet has a great variety and they serve feijoada (black bean stew) daily. The service is superb and I enjoy how the tables are not too close to each other and allows for nice conversations. My son always enjoy the ice cream w chocolate fudge for dessert.“
“This place right here ! Man look! I just moved here to California from Kansas, been looking all over for some REAL BBQ. Been craving it like crazy and couldn’t find none. I happened to be in LA today. Was hungry and knew I would find a spot here. Lo and behold , boom! RIB TOWN BBQ!!! Ayyy look I still can’t find me socks ! The Ribs were delicious the brisket was delicious. Potato salad, and beans! I will definitely be back! Oh and the people that there were too tier as well!! I felt like I was at home! Anyway yall keep doing yall thang! I’ll fasho he back!!“
“The korean fried chicken isso yummy here! I've tried a few other korean fried chicken places in the South Bay and this is my favorite. Can't go wrong with any of the flavors. But be warned - their spicy is seriously spicy. I love spicy and it was almost too much for me. I also highly recommend the rose toppoki.“
“To start we were greeted by the store owner/manager, and then we were instantly seated with no wait. Food was amazing! Highly recommend 1/4 ILB for a single person. Overall great costumer service. There are sports on the TVs and a giant window to people watch and check cars out of. Near the beach aswell so great stop!“
“5 stars! Everything about this restaurant is the best! The service was fast and efficient. The meat melted in our mouths. The quantity of food served was awesome! We highly recommend it! We ordered the beef tasting menu and couldn't be happier!“
“This is a no nonsense local restaurant. The smell as you walk in is unbelievably inviting. Smells like real, home cooked BBQ. I ordered the Momona Combo Plate since it’s my first time trying out this place. That combo has BBQ Chicken, Kalbi and Beef ribs. I highly recommend you give this place a try. Your taste buds, your tummy and your wallet will thank you. Also you might try calling in your order ahead of time to avoid a wait as food is made to order.“
“Wow what an amazing meal! This place a delightful, bare bones cook your own fine meat to your precise liking. Excellent customer service and soju and sake. We came here for a birthday, and will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this restaurant.“
“Been coming to this spot for years! I do about, it had been a while, no real reason, but today I saw their banner... "$5 1/3lb BURGER" and I had to resist stomping on the brakes and causing a collision, lol! I already knew they had GREAT BBQ at good prices, and after the miserable experience at Win-DON'T just a few minutes west of Outdoor Grill, this was beyond redemption! You should make it a point to try this spot if you're a meat-etarian.I came in about 6:30p on a cool Saturday night (today, to be honest), aaaand...The car wash was closed, so parking was super easy. There were several staff working to fill pickup and delivery orders, possibly catering? Dining area was clean. A dude was grilling outside, unironically. There was no line, and I was able to order immediately. Not gonna ding a star for the person on register, I know I'm asking for a $5 burger. You WILL have to be very clear on this, I had to repeat "$5 burger" more than once, the first time it was rung in as another thing. It's worth the effort. It was ready in a few minutes, and I took it to go. $6.33 out the door with cheese and taxes included. No BS, no upsell, just a damn fine burger at a great price. I gave them $8 and said keep the change.I got home 10-15 minutes later and it was still warm, even with the convertible top down! The toasted bun was... kinda brioche? It was just right, fresh, and just a little "pop". There was a thousand Island kind of sauce, just enough. There was also fresh lettuce, and the cheese was good. They didn't skimp on the patty (like the paltry fly infested crap at Win-Dow)... it was THICK, juicy, and cooked to a proper "medium well". I would've liked it medium rare, but that's just me; few places ask how you want it done anymore. No complaints, it was quality beef, just a little crispy, but not overly charred. I regret not taking a pic of it, but I was just so damn excited to see if it was as good as it looked, I couldn't wait. And it was much better than expected!I'll get a pic next time, I'm for sure going to make it a point to be at Outdoor Grill for this fantastic deal frequently.Cue the saxophone solo, please.“
“I grew up in the Philippines and move here in the US when I was 12 yrs old, so coming to this spot is pretty nostalgic for me. I love the food first off and the price. I love the atmosphere and bring back memories of being home with my family. Everyone is chill friendly, and they even have karaoke, which I also love.“
“Taste and quality of food is great, esp ribs and tritip. Prices are on the high side, like $6 for one piece of cornbread and $20 for the one-meat meal where your protein portion seems as light as two ounces. The wings are the best value. Orders are always completed quickly and on time.“
“Had recently visited New Orleans and needed something in the SoCal area to scratch that itch. Had the seafood gumbo and a shrimp po'boy with mac and cheese. The owner was lovely and incredibly nice. Food did take a bit of time but so worth it. The shrimp in the po'boy was well seasoned and had amazing flavor. The gumbo was phenomenal as well, packed with everything you'd expect giving you a nice warm fuzzy feeling after eating it. Mac and cheese was great too, rich in flavor. Will drive up from OC to eat here again soon.“
“The location is small but it was an amazing experience. The workers were all super tentative I didn't get a chance to call them over because they came as soon as they saw us slowing down on food. Everything was delicious I highly recommend for a date bight or a nice quiet dinner with a friend“
“Lee's tofu is a small Korean restaurant in Gardena. It is located in a plaza with other restaurants so parking can be a little difficult depending on the day or at night time, however parking is free and for an unlimited amount of time. This restaurant is small but the servers are very friendly. They also have a lot of banchan or sides and are more than happy to give extra. I love getting bibimbap on the hot stone, it is my absolute favorite. I will definitely keep coming back.“
“Definitely worth getting! Love the flavor , the brisket was absolutely the best I EVER had. The pulled pork was on point , Mac&cheese , potato salad , beans all had flavor and richness unlike others. Hats off to the bbq master. On another side I don't recommend the chicken it's very basic. Especially next to the colossal tastes the other meats bring to the table.“
“5 out 5 for the authenticity of the ingredients and the fashion in which your serving is prepared. Barbara is engaging and charming to every customer. Don't be fooled by the humble "hole in the wall" setting, the overall experience is worth your time and the money spent.Vegetarian options: Every order can easily exclude meat if desired.Dietary restrictions: Every dish is made to order.Kid-friendliness: Children of all ages are welcomed.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level store adjacent to the parking area.“
“I was never a big fan of gopchang, as eating intestines was a bit icky to me. However, this place has changed my view on gopchang! I think the places I had gopchang before had poor quality meat/intestines as it never tasted "fresh" or of good quality. I felt that thus restaurant had good quality meat and every side dishes they had was very delicious. The dwenjangjjigae was the best part of the side dishes along with the radish kimchi. Not only was the food amazing, the service was outstanding, as the servers were very attentive and kind. Would def come back for more gopchang!!“
“Thanks to the guys at Anytime Hawaiian for a great local dinner. We were craving some local food and found Anytime Hawaiian right across the Disneyland bus depot on Harbor. Great guys and great food. Thank you. We will definitely be back again. Aloha“
“Don’t get it twisted every L & L Hawaiian is not the same. This is the only one that cooks the curry shrimp right. It’s a hit 10 out of 10 every time. It’s uinder great management. The macaroni in the dinner plate is so good I’ve ordered more. It it's good hot and cold. You should visit. When you do tell them Omar sent you.“
“This is my favorite Korean barbecue spot in LA. Hands down I've been coming here for a number of years in the quality of the food and the taste not to mention the delicious kimchi. I constantly bring family members and other folks just to eat here and I will drive from out of town 2 and 1/2 mi just have dinner here.“
“Everything was absolutely delicious! It's our first time here and we fell in love with this place... besides, the service was fast, kind, we were very comfortable here. The place is clean, spacious and music was great. We ordered a family pack #1 (ribs, chixken, beans, coleslaw and cornbread) and my lil' one had the baby back ribs (includes fries, a chocolate chip cookie and a small beverage). Today is Saturday and soft drinks were only 1.50 :) so, great portions, great prices too!Highly recommended!!!We definitely will be back ❤️“
“The food is amazing and our favorite and 90% of the staff is rad. There’s a younger girl that works there that refuses to make the bobba drink that they advertise. They’re either out or the machine is broke, but ONLY when she’s working. The taller young guy always makes it hands down and with a great attitude. I always thought she was lying but today I just saw the young guy over hear me try to order one so he attempted to make one and she stopped him dead in his tracks and gave him that look. I just laughed and shook my head. To the gentlemen, you’re going places. Keep it up. To the young lady…smfh.“
