“We were visiting from Seattle and wandered into Osaka Story completely by accident… which is now the best accident we’ve ever had.

The staff were so kind and friendly that we instantly felt like regulars, even though we’d just walked in off the street. The food was so good we came back the very next day like, “Hey, it’s us again, don’t mind us.” And the beef yaki udon? Chef’s kiss. Truly “I could write poetry about this noodle” levels of good.

We will absolutely be back—probably more often than is reasonable for people who don’t live here.“

“​I drive by this place all the time. It's right off the 405 freeway. And I finally got to try this place. I ordered the #8 Supreme plate. It came with a small lobster tail and Angus steak which were both nice and tender. It also came with fried rice which was good and buttery. It came with mixed vegetables: onions, carrots, and zucchini. I really enjoyed the service here. The guy working the cash register was extremely nice and attentive. He made sure everyone in there was properly taken care of. I really enjoyed this place and I can't wait to come back here and try other items on their menu.“

“Solid 4's all around. We came in at 4pm right when they closed for lunch and they were super generous to still let us eat.
From the outside it's deceiving and looks like a square building and black our windows but inside is really nice. You can sit at the bar style right in front of the sushi chef (we did) or in the dining room.
We had the spicy salmon and spicy tuna and the special roll with Salmon sashimi.
All with great quality and presentation.
Me personally thought it was a touch to spicy and the salmon sashimi was a tougher piece but everything else was great.
The only reason for the 4 stars are for that and the $85 bill afterwards.

“I was walking by and decided to stop in. Boy am I glad I did! The food was served fast and it was delicious! They have a great happy hour where appetizers and sushi are reduced, including some of their signature rolls. If you like heat, try the tsunami roll! You won’t be disappointed. “I think one lady own and run restaurant herself. I ordered Katsu Don and Katsu Curry. Based on my high standard of Japanese food, it was decent quality in US. The sauce of Katsu Don and Katsu Curry were just typical tastes I had had at Japan and Korea. Pork of Katsu is pretty thick which is good but I feel it would be much better if it is softer and well attached to the katsu shell.“

“So I drove myself from Barstow, believing that it was under it's previous ownership, which is now be served by new ((!!! NEw Owners & Cooks!!))).
I hope to find a decent teriyaki as this place once served.

“Wagyu Street is a fantastic addition to the LBX food hall! I've tried a few different dishes, and every single one has been consistently flavorful and delicious.

My personal favorite is the bento box - it's beautifully presented and packed with goodness. You get your choice of meat (grilled to absolute perfection), short grain rice, pickled cucumbers, bean sprouts, dipping sauce, and a lemon wedge. Love that the portions are generous, making it perfect for one hearty meal or splitting into two smaller ones.

The service is top-notch, always friendly and welcoming, and they even offer seasonal specials and happy hour deals on food and beer. Highly recommend checking it out!“

“It was good. I really enjoyed my poke bowl, and so did my asian mother who actualy doesn’t enjoy very much of anything not Chinese. My mother was kicking and screaming when I suggested the hanger. She was originally going to go somewhere else but I was very surprised when she brought a poke bowl back to our table. And she liked it. I ate a large, ate a half of a bowl, and brought the rest home. Put it in the fridge and took it out and just ate it and it was good! Some places the rice and other stuff isn’t good quality anymore, but nope this was just dandy. I got the brown rice, the salmon, albacore, spicy tuna, and octopus. I got most of everything. Got the asian sauce and the spicy mayo. I am accustomed to having poke bowls not as often but sometimes. But for my mother who I didn’t think would like it, to like it thats pretty good. It was her first time eating a poke bowl too.“

“Really great Japanese restaurant. Miso soup is legit - brothy with lots of adds with seaweed, green onion and tofu. Super flavorful. Green tea is steep yourself in suoer hot water for the right depth of tea, and truly great flavor. Sushi (spicy tuna) was delish. So glad I took my car in for servicing down the street and needed a lunch place while I waited!“

As soon as you walk in, you are met with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere befitting such a nice restaurant. The menu is full of variety, with classic staples like gyoza and tuna rolls while also featuring special dishes, with my personal favorite being the spider rolls, which are absolutely delicious. Service is quite fast and the owner is extremely welcoming to customers. It is clear that the owner really puts their heart into the food and makes it impossible not to enjoy the meals prepared for you.

“Went in to get the charlbroiled teriyaki chicken burger ... make sure to NOT get the patty.. and was pleasantly surprised by the great taste but was shocked at the sheer size of the burger. I got it for lunch but could not eat all of it. Saved it for dinner where pulled the remaining teriyaki off and heated it up with steamed rice. Two great meals for a great price of underground $9! The picture on the wall menu is very appropriate. Great place to check out.“

“Pro tip. Order sushi to go and take it to sake secret next door for the perfect meal to go with a drink. Sushi is yummy and staff are nice. Rolls are fresh and made to order. The wait is not bad for sushi! The price ia good for sushi not bad and ypu definitely get your money worth.“
