“Last night we went to Speak Cheezy on 4th St at Termino. First off, EXCELLENT customer service! We had the Shroomday Button (Oyster and Maitake Mushrooms/ White Wine Braised Leeks / Truffle Cheese / house stretched mozzarella / shredded mozz / parsley / post oven of lemon zest. *We love to add Hobbs Sausage*). I added that delicious sausage and loved that pizza! We also had the Bloomsdale (garlicky bloomsdale spinach / hand stretched mozzarella / shredded mozzarella /pecorino / smoked ricotta / gaeta olive / za’atar / feta salsa verde)... and YUM! And we decided to try the Garden of Farms Little Gem Caesar Salad (little gems / kewpie caesar dressing / pizza croutons / anchovies / Ribbons of Fiscalini Gold / soft cooked egg). Again, tasty, tasty, tasty. Speak Cheezy sure seems to use high-end products in the creation of their pizzas and salads. Everything was top notch. That salad was so yummy with that incredible salad dressing and the jammy soft cooked egg. I want another one to eat with my lovely pizza leftovers. :)“

“I love Thai food and I love pizza, so this place really picqued my interest. The restaurant itself was pretty small, simple, no-frills -- Just a few tables and an ordering window. The pizza comes in 3 sizes; A small pizza is enough to feed 1-2 people. As recommended, we ordered 2 small (10-inch) pizzas to share (Thai Curry Chicken and Tom Yum with chicken). Both pizzas were warm and delicious, made fresh with a soft chewy bread and hearty toppings. I might've preferred more sauce and less cheese on the Thai curry pizza, since the cheese was kind of overpowering. I'd also recommend getting extra sauce on the side ($2 each) to dip the crust in! The worker lady who brought us our food was very accommodating, and the chef was a sweet old man that even came out at the end of the night to talk to the customers. Overall a good experience. I would definitely come back here again! :)“

“From appetizers to pizza to pasta, you can't go wrong! We went with another couple and shared the gnocco fritto (which was a hit), meatballs, two pizzas (Diavola with burrata and Caserta), the tagliatelle verdi al pesto, and fritelle di Frankie. Everybody loved the food. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“I was staying at the Golden Sails Hotel in Long Beach for the 14th Annual SURF GUITAR Festival. Their front desk recommended Pizza X Two so they gave me a small paper menu they kept in the side office. I called and ordered a small 8-slice pineapple and ham pizza along with their deluxe Mac n cheese bowl. I don't write reviews very often but I just wanted to say that their deluxe Mac n cheese bowl was amazing 😋. The pizza was good, too. But if you REALLY want to be blown away, order their DELUXE MAC N CHEESE!!!!!“

“We were visiting Long Beach from Ohio and had a taste for pizza. Asked a couple of locals and they suggested Baby Bros. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and patient with us while we were deciding what to order and asking questions about the menu. We chose a Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza, and Baby Bros Potatoes. Everything was delivered to our table popping hot. The Pizza was top notch with no runny sauce, crust wasn't hard or rubbery, and all that gooey delicious cheese. The potatoes were very tasty and the portion size was huge. Definitely glad we took the recommendation from those locals as we were not disappointed in the food, staff or atmosphere.“

“Hiro is often there when we drop by in the evenings. Very thorough, she checks on us regularly for refills on waters or if we need anything else. The appetizers there are always really big and generous. We love it. I have taken so many friends to eat dinner there who've missed this restaurant. Tons of parking is available on the back. They're right next to Hof's hut.“

“It’s not really great for gluten free but that’s normal for coffee shops. I like the steamers: hot milk of your choice with a syrup of your choice. It was perfect to warm up with after a long day. The music plays softly in the background and you can have a conversation easily. They also use Joshua Tree Coffee which is a great coffee. Service was helpful and polite.“

“Straw Hat pizza scratches that nostalgia itch you didn’t know you had. Stepping into the restaurant will take you back to the 90s. It’s eclectic. Some arcade games. An actual salad bar. And wooden booths!

Pizza - 5 stars. Something special about the sauce and the original crust that makes it punch in the S-tier class. Piping hot burn the roof of your mouth good.

Wings - I would not suggest. Mysteriously they seemed microwaved vs baked. Definitely not a specialty here. It’s all about the pizza.

Service - The staff were so kind and attentive that in my lunch conversation we brought it up at least twice while chatting. Memorable, personable. The kind of service that makes you want to go back.

“Last 3 times I've ordered online for the Pizza to be pie cut, and each time they've given me square cut. You'd figure getting paid at $20 per hour, you should get my order correct. First time, I was alright with it, because mistakes happen. But happening again and again 2 more times is simply lazy on their part.“
