“This Japanese restaurant has been here at least 20 years. The food is fantastic. The service is welcoming. This is now our favorite Japanese restaurant. We use to go to the one on Rosecrans where Albertsons is. But there is no comparison to midoris food. We will be back again and again“

“What a perfect hole in the wall Sushi spot. I wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of Disney. Narrowed it down to Hana out of 50 sushi restaurants. How this restaurant only has a 4.5 rating is besides me. Absolutely incredible service and food. FREE MISO SOUP!!! Yes, you read that correctly. They also have ACE if you are a big eater. There is a small alcohol serving too. The location has outdoor seating, but I didn't see anyone using it. I ordered a regular Tuna roll as part of dinner, and it came with the rice on the out. It was perfectly fresh and delicious. I asked if the Chef can do Tuna Maki as off the menu, and he pulled through! I cant say enough good things. 5 Stars all the way. I hope I can return.

“Usually I save TikTok videos of restaurants I wanna try when I travel to LA but we were starving when we got out of the source oc plaza and just randomly searched a ramen place nearby. This was the place nearest to us that the ramen pics looked appealing. I have to say the ramen here was amazing. It tasted almost the same to the ramen we tried in our trip to Tokyo. And our server was so nice and attentive. He was so sweet that he gave our mom her drink for free since she wasn’t going to consume food due to not liking ramen but she was accompanying us. Found this place by accident but i have now marked it as a favorite and will definitely go back!“

“I’ve ordered here 3 times and food here has been consistently fresh. This place is near where I live. I was surprised to find out it was just a take out establishment during my first visit. But services have been quick and they have gotten the orders right so far. They often send out discount codes which are very helpful in this economy. Prices are fairly reasonable. “The thickest and girthiest sushi rolls I've ever had and it was fantastic.
The staff and service was incredible! Big shout out to Crystal** our server and John the owner for making us feel extremely welcomed and very well fed.

My personal fave was the I LOVE JASMINE roll named after the owner's wife and the Daniel San roll named after the owner's son!

The service was excellent, the gentleman brought us all the sauces and was so nice. The place is small, with a few tables but very clean. Definitely recommend this place!“

“Food is amazing. Pork Katsu comes with 5-6 pork slices that are extremely juicy and tender. Rice on the bottom with salad. Amazing side dishes like pickled radish and cucumbers served with creamy soup.

Service is incredible. Very attentive waiter. Fast with drinks and extremely speedy with service. I ask for napkins or more water; I close my eyes for one second and it's literally all there! Kim Tae (Ted) is amazing! Great work ethic displayed and attentiveness.

I ordered the three item bento with teriyaki chicken, shrimp tempura, and a Crunchy Roll, and everything held up incredibly well by the time I got home. The teriyaki chicken was juicy and packed with amazing flavor that perfect balance of savory, slightly sweet, and rich umami that really stands out. Every bite tasted fresh and well-seasoned, not rushed or generic like a lot of takeout spots.

What really impressed me was how both the flavor and texture stayed on point. The shrimp tempura had a clean, crispy crunch without any greasiness, and the Crunchy Roll was fresh, flavorful, and layered with great texture. Nothing got soggy thanks to the smart packaging, everything was separated and neatly put together. The sando was good. Moist egg filling and well toasted bread. The sake salmon...goodness gracious. It was delicious! I want to try more items on the menu, but I may have a hard time not ordering the salmon again. I highly recommend Neighborhood Bento.

“Such a wonderful omakase experience! The chef is incredibly talented and clearly puts a lot of thought and skill into every dish. The quality and freshness of the ingredients were excellent, and each course was beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared.

I especially appreciated EDY the chef’s, his creativity and attention to detail. Everything felt balanced, refined, and carefully crafted. You can really tell there is passion behind the food.
