“This place has grew on me, and with every time i bought food from here. The very cheap prices, and fun waitress, made me love this place more and more, making me want to buy food from here almost everyday. now, i come with friends many times a week, and would very much recommend this amazing place to anyone looking for a nice, cheap meal.“

“The service is outstanding, the broth is.. understated (don't drown the meat in a separate flavor), and the sauces/accessory items are god-tier. I've never even had soft serve ice cream this good. Not a single ice crystal in the ice cream!

Get the Sukiyaki broth. Spicy miso would seem like the most flavorful, but our group agreed Sukiyaki is better. Want spicy? Grab the infinite Thai chilis at the bar and add to the soup.

Also ponzu-garlic-onion is the best sauce. Fight me! Raw egg (pasteurized) is crazy good too if the flavors get too overwhelming.

I didn't even talk about the meats! Yeah wagyu is great, oyster is great, crab is meh, shrimp (sashimi and platter) is whoah, abalone isn't my thing (it's just all natural fish cake?). Bone marrow was surprisingly not my favorite for a first time experience.

“Didn't want to eat the tried and tested Zareen's so I ended up here instead. Now this is good Street food! Authentic flavors, good spice level and warm service. The food prep time is definitely on the higher end, so definitely don't come here starved. We waited about 30 minutes for our food, but it was well worth it. Large portions and flavorful food.

“This is the best pan-fried soup dumpling I’ve had in the Bay Area. The xiao long bao have thicker skins, and while I personally prefer the thinner ones from Din Tai Fung, these still have plenty of soup and aren’t bad. The dumplings, mushroom pork buns, chicken pan-fried dumplings, and spicy beef hotpot were all solid and tasty, though not particularly outstanding. The scallion bun is packed with scallions, making it a must-try for scallion lovers. Overall, the food was delicious, and I’ll definitely visit again.“

“I ordered spicy teriyaki chicken bowl to go, and got regular one instead. I was very hungry so the food was good to me, but there was not much sauce on the chicken. The staff was polite! The wait for the food was quick, but they got my order wrong, which was saddening.
I didn't check it while I was there and got home before opening it, but what I ended up with was good. If I would have checked my order before leaving I'm sure it would have been resolved appropriately because the staff seemed very nice.

“I absolutely love this chain and I’m pretty sure it’s only in Silicon Valley and San Francisco. I currently live in the Boston metro and am back to Silicon Valley for 2nd home tours and this is the first place I stopped to eat after my flight. I ordered the Kim-ritto thinking both options were vegan after a few bites I noticed I was eating beef which I just don’t do so the staff was nice enough to give me the vegan tofu that I was looking for.“

“We visited Red Hot Chilli Pepper in Fremont for lunch on a Sunday, and it was such a memorable outing. The restaurant had a calm, relaxed vibe—not too crowded—which made for a comfortable family meal.

The food hit the mark across the board. We loved the Chicken Pan-Fried Noodles and Stir-Fried Tofu, both packed with bold Indo-Chinese flavors. The Vegetarian Spring Rolls were crispy and fresh, and the Fresh Masala Lime Soda added a cool, tangy note to round out the meal.

A special highlight was the robots delivering our food to the table—our kids were absolutely thrilled! It added a playful, futuristic twist to the experience and definitely made it extra fun for the whole family.

The owner, Branden, was extremely generous and kind and made a special delivery to our event, after closing hours. Each tray was generously filled, and we had an abundance of food. I will definitely order from them again. It was a pleasure working with Roost And Roast and I highly recommend them!“

“The chicken strips were unsalted when I asked for plain yay! Thank you, so hard to find “fast food” that isn’t pre salted, then salted AGAIN before serving. The smallest serving is 8 pieces, so I’ll be eating these for a couple of days. Plenty of options for leftover makeover!

Kid-friendliness: Had a screen with a Nickelodeon monster movie playing. Subtitles, volume down. Having to read the subtitles out loud actually was a nice moment to talk about what was going on on screen.“

It really might be what I ordered but for 30 dollars with the substitutions the Gardena soufflé is really underwhelming. But the dishes my friend ordered as well as dishes on tables near us looked much more flavorful and interesting so I’m not docking much from my rating. But overall i left a little disappointed. I would recommend trying something besides the soufflés as I suspect that’s where I made my mistake.“

They have a LARGE selection of ingredients to choose from for your hot pot as well as fruit, cake and freshly made ice cream for dessert. Drinks are included in the buffet price.

Staff are very friendly and helpful and explain things well. This was important for us as we had never been to a hot pot place before so we had no idea what to do😂.

They are open 7 days a week with lunch and dinner buffet. Call for hours and prices. We had lunch on a monday and before tip for 2 of us it was $44.95.

We enjoyed chicken and corn dumplings, chicken wings with an incredibly delicious sauce, kimchi rice ball, coconut shrimp cooked to perfection and a melt in your mouth sesame cheesecake dessert. All of the sauces served were amazing. We ordered a bottle of Dassai 39 Junmai Daiginjo sake. The 39 was clear and smooth with a complex botanical nose. Delicious! After selecting our bottle of sake, the server presented a tray of glasses from which to choose your favorite. The staff served in a beautiful sake dispenser that cools the sake while not watering it down. The whole experience was top notch. If you are a sake lover you must experience this. “I spent a few weeks in Xinjiang a million years ago and ate laghman -- the Uyghur's national dish -- two or three times a day. Loved it loved it loved it. Hadn't had any in over 25 years, then recently moved to the area and saw that downtown Menlo Park had a Uyghur place. Woo hoo!

The noodles and sauce are perfect. (The meat is surprisingly low-quality so I ask for it without the meat and just get some flank steak slicked up for stir-fry at Whole Foods and cook that up at home to add.) The portion is generous and the dish keeps well in the fridge for a few days.“

“First time here and had no expectations. I was blown away by the food - started with the anchovy garlic edamame which elevated humble edamame in a big way. Skewers were all delicious, minus is they’re small so savor each bite. Unagi paella was so flavorful with amazing textures - how did they do that!“

“Some of the best pho I’ve had anywhere. They’re pretty committed to their closing hours, so if you go, be sure to get there at least 40 minutes before closing. The kitchen closes 30 minutes before the dining area. I do wish they had later hours sometimes, but that’s just a selfish desire on my part because our family tends to do things later at night than most people. When we want pho, we just try extra hard to get there early enough like normal people during acceptable dinner hours. It’s worth it, the broth is just so good!“

We got pork and bell pepper, Mongolian beef, dan dan noodles, roasted green beans, scallion pancakes, and pork potstickers. They were all sooooo good. The inside is also very fancy and nice, there's tablecloths, and two different floors to eat at. I highly recommend it!!“

“Everything we had was tasty. The mussels dish was our favorite. Garlic noodle was also really good. The salmon mousse, we couldn’t really taste the salmon in it but it tasted fine. We also ordered catch of the day dish (not shown in picture), the fish was light and crispy but the kimchi fried rice it came with was lacking; it tasted more like lightly seasoned fried rice—couldn’t taste the kimchi. Overall, the presentation was great and taste was enjoyable.“

“This was our 2nd time to buy their Hainanese chicken rice. The chicken is always cooked well. The rice, although flavorful and tasty is again dry and almost hard. I poured a little of the clear soup that came with it to moisten it a little. Their sauce containers are too small. I’d pay more for the option for a bigger sauce container. The carrots were well soaked in the vinegar dressing but this time, the cucumbers were left unsoaked in dressing. They were tasteless in contrast to the carrots. They were marinated in dressing last time. Did someone forget?“

“Sushi O Sushi is amazing!! We usually drop in for lunch and a couple times for dinner. We get the bento boxes with teryaki chicken, California rolls, and sashimi (tuna or salmon) the miso soup is great and the salad with that delicious dressing is perfect. We always stop here and you shoukd definitely give it a try.“

Rice balls are good.. but they're missing the seaweed wrapper for some reason (compared to every other place including Clover Bakery next door) and the price is higher in exchange for more/better fillings.
