It’s very hard to come by such well-run places these days. The food is absolutely fantastic as well as reasonably priced. They cater to all taste buds and even modify it if you ask.

Paul and other staff members know the definition of hospitality and put it into practice!

Also, unlike other Indian places, they use Olive Oil for their cooking which doesn’t make you uneasy after a big meal. For this very reason, most days, our post workout meal is at Maya’s Kitchen ????“

“Momos are delicious. 10/10. You cannot go wrong with any vegetarian momos. Be it steamed, baked in a tandoor, or saucy (Jhol).

Breads are well-made to perfection. Curry was good, nothing spectacular. I look forward to trying other curries.

The dine in experience was excruciating. We were offered the pappadam immediately after we were seated. We waited 30 minutes for the momos (appetizer) to arrive and another 40 minutes after we finished momos for the main course (1 curry & 2 naan).

While we patiently waited 60+ minutes in total for our food, there were plenty of to go orders slinging out of kitchen every 2-3 minutes. I suspect this restaurant prefers takeout (they also offer discounts for takeout if I remember correctly).“

“We visited Himalayan Magic Masala in San Jose for the first time with our family visiting from Canada, and we were all blown away! They said it was the best Nepali food they've had so far, and we completely agree. The butter chicken, momos, pani puri, tandoori chicken, and especially the butter naan and lacha paratha were absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. “Delicious South Indian food with great service. It’s located on El Camino so is easy to access and has a decent sized parking lot shared with neighboring stores. It’s a small restaurant with most orders being taken out or delivered so its interiors are sparse. The food itself is delicious - we had a masala dosa and it was amazing as were the sambhar and chutneys. The menu is very reasonably priced for the quality of food.

Update: returned to have the same food and it wasn’t as good nor was the service - asked for a dosa with less oil and it was crazy oily. Taking off a star since food was the basis for the prior 5 star review.“

“I have known the owners since they started providing food from their home before opening the restaurant in 1995. The food quality has been consistent over the past 30+ years, & they have survived the economic ups and downs. Their goal is simple; to provide home style taste at an affordable price. There are barely 3 tables so it's very basic. But if you crave pure veg, fresh food that tastes like home, certainly recommend it. The owner Manoj Bhai and his wife Bhavika Ben are still working there to ensure we walk out with a satisfaction of a tasty and sumptuous meal. Cheers to this family for their consistency, humility and focus on customer service. It's hard to find these virtues at anaffordable price these days.“

Chaat is tasty but some may be a tad sweet for some but you can always ask them to put less sweet chutney I suppose (not sure if it works but worth asking). Downside is that tables are a bit dirty and you need to clean them... Not a big deal but experience would be better if used tables were cleaned after customers left.“

“This was my second visit to Hyderabad Dim Biriyani and to my surprise the food was so much better and well prepared. Our mutton curry was little undercooked but once we mentioned about it the owner right away took care of us. I wish if they can make their naan for $4.—-little bigger. Also they should give some extra napkins to the customers so that they don’t have to ask for every little thing. I will recommend you to go and enjoy the food. It’s always good to complaint to the owner/manager so that they can take care of you and rectify if there is something wrong. #papihanandy“

“This is a great addition to the Sunnyvale food scene. It's located next to the parking lot on the back side of Murphy near the rear entrance to Fibbar McGee's. Food is delicious with generous portions not often seen in Indian restaurants. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Ambiance is nice and bright although not fancy. Worth a few extra steps off of Murphy --give it a try!“

“Restaurant is tucked away in a quiet corner of the mall beside costco. Atmosphere is cozy but can be noisy at times. Food was what you would expect at any south Indian restaurant. Nothing too fancy but not too bad. $14 for a Mysore masala dosa is pricey but that is SF Bay Area for you. Mediocre food at Michelin prices. The chutneys were cold but the sambar was piping hot. Imagine dipping one piece of dosa in chutney and the next one in Sambar. Your palette will.not know what to expect next. Again poorly designed dishes yet prices are high. Sadly, this is the norm in the bay area, so cannot fault this place.“
