“This comment is for food only as I had someone do the pickup. The two-item combo is $11.99 and five-piece wing is $10.38, not a bad deal given the inflation era we have been living in.

We ordered:
Combo 1: Fried rice/Singaporean noodle half half,
Orange chicken, Spicy fish tofu. They all have excellent tastes and texture. The fish and tofu has a little numbing pepper in it which tastes legit and I really like it.

Combo 2: Chow Mein, mixed veggie, black pepper chicken, salt pepper shrimp. Again, the taste hit the spot. The shrimp is crispy enough to chew and eat the shell too.

5-piece wings: the wings are crispy outside and juicy inside. The original flavor makes it mild and not overall salty. Perfect for fried chicken.

In my opinion, the food is much better than Panda Express as they are less greasy and way less saltier. If you crave for a quick bite of fast food Chinese, I would highly recommend Golden Scoop!“

“A great little gem. We stopped in for dinner - not especially hungry due to late lunch but knew we needed to eat something. We split the cucumber salad - so fresh and tasty, a little sweet, a little salty. It’s sold as a small appetizer but, easily splittable. Then pork potstickers and veggie pancakes - eight of each, so plenty to share and also very tasty. Definitely would go back. Friendly attentive service to round out a great find.“

“Back in February, my significant other and I visited California, and one of the absolute highlights of our trip was the incredible Chinese food we had. From the very first bite, we knew we were in for something special. The flavors were bold, authentic, and perfectly balanced — you could taste the care and tradition in every dish.

“Amazing place, amazing food, and amazing customers service!! The braised pork was absolutely delicious for such an affordable price and their portions are certainly worth it. I only ordered the rice as my base and braised pork on the side, it was nicely cooked, tender and the quail eggs were top quality. Highly recommend Tigawok and definitely coming back for more!!!“

“Just pass the long queue in din tai fung and come to this restaurant. You won’t regret. Xiaolonngbao is good and at standard price. Beef fried noodles is superb. The spicy ox tail soup is a must try and basically it’s the broth of Taiwanese beef noodles. Service is excellent!“

“What incredible service from Zander. On New Year’s Day with the restaurant completely packed he made some magic happen and got me and my girlfriend a table for our anniversary. We met up with a friend of ours who lives in LA. Turns out not a lot of people come here and when they saw our pictures and food, they wanted to come.

It’s such a cool atmosphere and the food is delicious.

“I have not been here since the 90s, ordered the Wonton Soup-Small, and it was very good. Wontons were yummy and the pieces of Chicken and Shrimp all tasted fresh. “It was my first time at this place, on a friend’s recommendation. The cumin spiced meat was so great!

Usually not a fan of lamb, but the lamb skewers from this place was pretty good, and it also didn’t stink too badly.

The beef kebab was amazing too, the beef was tender and well marinated! The chicken kebab felt a bit dry and not as flavourful compared to the other so I would not recommend.

It’s a good place to socialize as you needed to wait for the skewers to be grilled.

Went on a Saturday, around 730pm, and waited around 30-45 mins for the table to be ready, but this was WELL worth the wait!“

“This is a nice little restaurant that is very affordable for two or four people.
Proportion and servings are medium to large.
Depending on how much you order and how big or small your stomach is.
This may not be din Tai Fung but it's it's a little brother and it is up to par.
I was very satisfied with my meal I do plan to come back for a regular visit.
Steam soup dumplings were also their signature mark as well as their bao buns.
They give you options for soup, noodles, vegetable servings, choice of drinks and desserts.

“One of my favorites places when we don’t know what to eat. First time we ate here was probably because another restaurant had a long wait and we randomly tried it out.

Parking can be difficult in this old plaza depending on the hours. Seating usually doesn’t take too long.

One of the best things about this places is the noodles. House made, can be adjusted to your liking. They’re perfectly chewy and have a nice texture to them.

When I first visited, one of my favorites places dishes here was the kung pao chicken. It used to be very unique, fried super crispy before mixed with the carrot, peanuts, peppers, and other bits. On our recent trip, it’s seems like they completely changed the recipe, it’s on the sweet side, no carrots or other veggies and peanuts were just added on top. I lost one of my favorite dish here, would never order the current kung pao chicken again.

Not pictured or ordered since it was a hot day, but one of my favorites is their beef noodle sou. It’s a great comfort dish with excellent flavor and good portions of meat and veggies

All of their dry noodles or cold noodles are delicious as well.

One of their house specialty entrees I really enjoyed and will order again is the spicy spare ribs. Super crispy, good spices. Might be a bit on the oily side, but it’s delicious.

XLB are good, not the best but perfectly fine. Juicy and good flavor.

Cold cuts are good as an appetizer, you can choose however many you want and portions are good.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. I would say they get swamped a bit during busy hours as they handle tables and also take out orders.“

“We love the food from Mandarin and the service from Ling Ling, the woman who works at the front. It’s been our go to place for Chinese food for quite some time. Consistently delicious and usually fast for takeout. Highly recommend! We love the lo mein, Orange chicken, eggplant tofu, mapo tofu, egg rolls, and beef with broccoli.“

“Fu’s Palace really brought me back to the Chinese food. I grew up with on the East Coast. From the moment we sat down and we were served the complementary hot tea, I felt at home. The pu pu platter was exactly what I’ve been craving. We also loved the crab Rangoon, spring rolls, shrimp, lo mein, and chicken fried rice. Everything was so fresh, tasty, and comforting! So glad I found the spot. I’ll definitely be returning soon!“

“One of the best Jajangmyeon I've ever had!Jajangmyeon is a Korean-Chinese dish of thick noodles covered in a rich, fermented black bean sauce and served with vegetables and pork. The savory, salty, and slightly sweet dish is a cultural icon in Korea, often associated with childhood memories and special occasions. The noodles are made fresh which makes it extra special. The Chicken in Spicy Garlic sauce is a perfect accompaniment with it's tangy crunchy chewy spicy taste! This is the type of place that

Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce is wonderful, the stems are a nice size, not too big. BBQ pork chow mein could use a little more bak choy and BBQ pork for the price. Hot and sour soup was yummy like always. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere even though it was just a pickup. Valet was nice letting me park myself with no charge.“

“Well this one was a pleasant surprise. Smallish place, dark walls, some free parking in a busy area with a bunch of other eating places. Not being in SGV, didn't expect much. Ordered the half Peking duck, chicken chow fun, and beef with snow peas. The duck came out first, and our server did a great job of carving the duck at our table. I've heard that the table side carving is done, but had never experienced it. The duck was amazing! The skin was crisp, not the crispiest that I've had, but very good. Most pieces had skin and meat. The meat was tender, juicy, and flavorful. It was served with bao buns, scallions, cilantro and hoisin sauce. The rest of the duck was chopped up in the kitchen and brought back to our table in a dish. The chicken chow fun was tasty, the chicken very tender, and the noodles cooked perfectly. The beef was also super tender, tasty, and the snow peas were cooked just right. What a great meal! Not a cheap meal. The three items were about $90 plus tip, but to get such quality in the Westwood area--priceless.“

Even though panda across the street panda always crowded and have terrible service their employees be rude and racist against blacks like some businesses over in this area. But this Chinese food is fire! Cheap, they are friendly. It reminds me of the old days when me and my cousins would split a plate between six of us and we'll be full. The noodles that's like chow men is my fav. They didn't charge about for extra shrimp and she never stingy with the food. I love it and will keep coming here for sure 😂 probably be back this week 😂“

It's just a straight up, old school, Chinese restaurant serving up the classics. Portion sizes are pretty big and always tasty. I have not had a bad experience here yet.
