“Recently while visiting Mill valley, we had our lunch in Mamahuhu in this location. Food was excellent, fresh and quick service. The store staff was very friendly and personable. The seating was very comfortable and kids friendly. Recommend folks check it out!“

“I went there to see if I could eat there, but it was a take-out restaurant.
However, I ordered delicious food and enjoyed it when I got home.
I was grateful that the friendly staff told me about nearby parks where I could eat and explained things well.
There is also a parking lot, so park comfortably.“

“This food is good. I wasn’t expecting it to be that good for some reason but I’m impressed. We had the veggie egg rolls (2 1/2), there was a funny spice added in there that wasn’t familiar nor was it necessary. Green onion pancakes (4.5) Long donut (4/5) it was so fresh, hot and crispy. Sweet chili wings (4), got happy when I seen the jalapeños but there was no kick at all, they were like a basic teriyaki. General tso chicken (4) no kick to them like normal general. Beef & broc (4) shrimp fried rice (4.5). The lady in front gets a little flustered and I thought she had an attitude with me but once the food came out, she gave us a free soda each and a free Long Donut. Def would return!“

“My favorite Chinese food I have ever had. I've traveled all over the country and the world, but nothing has beat harmony. when I go, I get either the beef chow mien, imperial potstickers, duck tea buns, pea shoots, egg rolls, signature beef, signature chicken, and fried rice. So good. Pricey, but real quality ingredients. Friendly staff.“

“I look forward to my next visit to Mamahuhu. They're always coming up with some creative items on the menu. But somehow I always end up going back to my favorite sweet and sour chicken. The lunch plate is the perfect size. There is rice and a side salad. This time, their crunchy cucumber slices with creamy sesame dressing is to die for. And they even have a vegan option! So satisfying! And I love my Pineapple Mint Tonic!“

“It's packed and it may take bit to be seated. You write your name and party size on the white board.

The dry fried chicken wings are the best chicken wings I've had. Juicy and crunchy with a nice sweet glaze. The green beans, dry black bean sauce noodles, and hot braised chicken were all good but the dry fried chicken wings were the standout!“

“The sesame chicken is DOPE. All the food is good. My friend really liked the Singapore noodles.

We ordered way too much food and ate delightedly eating leftovers all weekend.

“I have nothing negative to say about this place. I’ve came here a hand full of times and every time the food is good, the service is efficient and I haven’t had to wait (yet). You know it’s good when my kids go back for seconds and thirds. The price is very decent too. This place is fairly clean. Parking is a bit of a pain but definitely worth it. The owner is some Chinese rapper and advocate for the community. There’s so much to like about this spot that it has earned a 5 star rating from me.“

“So good! They have many different combinations of dumpling fillings. We went with the three treasures, and the mushroom & chicken filling, one with soup and one without, they were both so good. The soup that it comes with is filled with seaweed, and a light savory broth. I highly suggest adding vinegar to the broth to bring out the flavor even more. And you make your own dipping sauce at the table for your dumplings as well.

Expected food to come out consistently together for group so that everyone could select their entrees and also eat the chow mein and/or rice with the meats and veggie options we selected. “This used to be my go to lunch spot when I was attending school nearby, nowadays I still make a visit when I am in the area where I am craving for some good Chinese food. Their menu consists of appetizers, soups, individual entrees, noodles, fried rice, lunch specials and much more. Everything is made to order here which is always a plus for me and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. The staffs here are very welcoming, well trained and understanding where I had never encountered an issue during any of my visits. Everything is authentic here and adjustments are upon request. I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of a quick bite when in the area, if you are willing to try something new or if you just so happen to be in the area. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.“

“This is a favorite location for seniors nearby especially if you like inexpensive price and large portions according to my auntie’s. It is basically comfort food. If you order family style, it comes with their house soup. We ordered, string beef with beef,salt and pepper pork chop, sweet sauce fried chicken (Omg. Delicious), tofu with beef and clay pot dish with eggplant. Everything was good but my favorite was the sweet sauce fried chicken. Would I come back? Definitely. It also got mom’s stamp of approval..“

“I simply ordered Mu Shu pork to go. I'll start out by saying the food was great, and instead of the 6 pancakes normally given, I ended up getting 10. Had I known I would have asked for additional plum sauce and gladly paid for it. It was a slow weeknight and the food for 6 to 8 people who were there looked good too. The reason I didn't rate them higher was because of the difficulty getting them to take my order. I first came inside to place my order and the people working there saw me and kept doing whatever they were doing. I stood there for at least 5 to 7 minutes without anyone even acknowledging me. So, I walked out and looked around to figure out where else I could go. I live in the area and knew that there were options. After about 10 minutes I decided to give them another chance. I walked in and once again stood there. This time, within a few minutes, a woman came to help me. I placed my order and was told it would be ready in 17 minutes. Why 17 minutes I have no clue. I came back in 17 minutes and it was already sitting there ready. I will order from them again. I don't give up on small businesses in my area and I'll try another dish.“

The pink tablecloths, the hot tea, the charming back patio, the well priced lunch plate options, the classic Chinese American dishes, the jelly belly jellybean jar, the fish tank, everything is perfect. The mushu pork, DJ chow mein, mongolian beef, and string beans are some of my favorite dishes.“

I was in SF for some work stuff and had to go there twice because it was that good !
The beef chow fun was the right balance of onions, noods, and meat! The meat was also super tender 😍
The cold beef tendons were really yummy too!
Next time, I need to try some of the greens and heard the dumplings were also very good!

The service was impeccable - the two young gentlemen did an excellent job managing a relatively busy / small place!

“This has become my favorite Chinese restaurant in San Francisco. Their salt and pepper wings are superior to the ones across the street and the rest of the menu is fire too. Some favorites are old school SF Cantonese standards like Westlake beef soup, honey walnut prawns, and the mushrooms with egg tofu.“

“Stopped in for a mango pomelo sago drink and can confirm it is as delicious as everyone else has said here. They use a good type of mango, and the sago and cream topping were creamy and sweet without being too much. It reminded me of a mango lassi!“

“Had Christmas Eve dinner here and definitely 5 stars! Their clay pots are delicious and amazingly cheap for SF in 2025. Put this on the delicious cheap eats of 2026 list! They start at $13 for a lot of options and come out hot and well portioned with plenty of protein on top. Let it sit for a bit and you get that crispy rice that cracks loudly when you bite into it. We had the chicken and sausage claypot and the traditional yellow eel one. Generous portions of meats. We also tried the lamb with tofu skin which had a rich lamb flavor and huge chunks of lamb for $15. Some of the lamb pieces have a good chunk of fat but lamb is like that. The sauce is delicious on that dish so I recommend to try something with lamb for sure. We also got the Chinese broccoli (well cooked and good portion) and pork intestines which were delicious and great texture. Final dish was the salt and pepper fish which was light and crispy on the outside and soft and piping hot on the inside. If you get takeout, throw some of those fish fillets on some Hawaiian rolls with some tartar sauce and have some awesome Fillet o Fish sliders! First page of the menu is all the clay pots (crispy rice!). This is a mom and pop place with basic decor but great food and shockingly low prices, especially for the portion sizes and quality. Please come here and support this business so they stay open so I can keep coming here. You won't regret it.“

“Pardon my photo quality, I got excited and only remembered to take one after digging in. This might be the best bun bo hue I’ve had. The broth was perfectly balanced with just a touch of sweetness that created the most savory umami flavor bomb. It’s a very rich broth that’s meaty in flavor but not overwhelming. There was so much tender beef shank in this bowl. I kept finding more and more. The noodles were perfectly soft yet chewy. Service was quick but still polite. I loved the miniature collection at the front door. My boyfriend’s pho was also a huge and satisfying portion full of tasty flavor. Can’t wait to come back!!“
