“The food was outstanding! We however went for our anniversary meal, and were wisked in and out in 50 minutes! Plates were wisked away seconds after they came, we literally twice had the food in our hands mid-bite when plates were taken away, some with food still in them. We tried to slow it down and keep food in the plates so we could talk, but as soon as we lifted a piece, whish- gone and another plate in its place. Turning over tables overtly or bad timing, I'm not sure.“

Start with the chowder, packed with a wide variety of shellfish, spiced just right with a little kick to it, neither New England nor Manhattan, they have invented a new broth that is both rich and flavorful while being light. The Scallops are a must try. They simply melt in your mouth with a burst of complex flavors. The small plate tostadas meld flavors and textures you just can’t find anywhere else. Although it is located on Divisadero in a multi-block long string of restaurants, the atmosphere inside has the feel of the most comfortable neighborhood bistro. Impecable service all at a very reasonable price for the quality and the creativity and joy the food will bring to your palate.“

“A charming true SF institution that feels like ur in center of culture and history! The authentic jazz music really makes the experience, where you’re right in the best seats anywhere u sit. U really feel the way sf was bustling with artistry and interesting conversations happening around u with this ambiance. The food didn’t need to be great with the music and environment being so special, yet the meal was so delicious! The clam chowder is one of the best in the city, the prawns with horseradish will make u come back, then the steak is better than the really pricey steak houses! Then, service to top it off was so attentive and fast!

“We started with the Chips & Dip as a small appetizer. The chips were crunchy and flavorful, and the sour cream was fluffy and not too heavy.

Next, we ordered oysters and the tuna melt. The oysters were so fresh and delicious that we ended up ordering another dozen. The tuna melt was also really good, served on a sourdough roll that made it quite easy to eat.

The service was excellent, the server was friendly and welcoming throughout our visit.

Overall, we were really satisfied with everything. We were just looking for a few small bites before dinner.“

“This place always hits the spot! The flavors are amazing and I love all the banchan dishes. Plus! The rice comes with the food which should be the standard but nowadays other places charge for them.

The dishes are pricey but the portions are large and sometimes you can get a freebie! Definitely bring a friend to share with.“

“While visiting San Francisco for work, I had the pleasure of dining at Cafe Tiramisu, and it quickly became a highlight of my trip! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming – Giuseppe and Christian went above and beyond to make me feel right at home. Christian, my server, recommended the lobster escargot, and I have to say, it’s one of the best dishes I’ve ever had! The Spaghetti Nero with house-made pasta and local seafood was equally outstanding. This family-owned restaurant prides itself on creating as much as possible in-house, and it truly shows in the quality and freshness of the food. As the name would suggest, the tiramisu was also top notch. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with both cozy indoor and charming outdoor seating. “I am travelling for a couple days in San Francisco. Always want to try the American Chinese food. They speaks in Cantonese made me comfortable. I got a shrimp with lobster source rice in Gourment Carousel. This was pretty delicious. And the size is big. Pretty much 2 meals for me.“

“Initially popped in to try a couple of oysters and split a warm lobster roll… everything was so good we ordered it again, this time to try the cold lobster roll. I wasn’t sure on how much mayo they would use, so I did ask for light on the mayo (after seeing one review pic) and it ended up being the perfect amount (looked similar to the pic posted before the more recent one).

Both rolls were amazing, but in different ways. The warm one was so rich and buttery. It was savory with good lobster flavor. The cold one was you could really taste the freshness of the lobster, the lobster had a hint of sweetness to it. The bun also stayed a little more crispy which provided additional texture. Unfortunately, did not get pics of the rolls.
