There was 2 others in my party and they were equally impressed. Another benefit is that there are no parking problems. I will definitely eat there again.“

“So I was lucky enough to give this place a try during a closed event hosted by the Seoul sisters and the Hoo Lee Gans. Pretty cool vibe and atmosphere when you walk in. Extensive drink list and pretty skilled bartenders tend to your thirsty soul while the home cooked Korean style street food dishes caress your belly. As it was a closed event , the food was a buffet style, help yourself and gubble it up style. Regardless the food was spot on. I really enjoyed the onion pancake. This dish is as simple as it looks it is actually rather tricky to make. The popcorn chicken was tender, the kimchi zesty yet firm and tender.
I suggest you give it a try and work yourself through their menu.“

Surprisingly, many big names have played at this tiny beach venue, like The Mummies & Supersuckers! This place continues to create new memories for me each time!“

“Food was super delicious! Check pea flour fried artichokes hearts we yummy, Deviled eggs are the best starter and a must have on every visit. This was our first time having the Shrimp Louie salad and it is now my favorite in all of SF. It is shredded and ready to eat. Presentation alone has high marks and the flavors were perfectly balanced. We split the Cioppino with the added pasta on the side. Yuu-uuuummmmm! Lots of seafood and the soup base had us making deals for the dregs at the end.“

“The burger was really good. Got the HWC burger with waffle fries, the burger was really flavorful and juicy. Taste wise I had zero complaints.

Overall the meal was sort ok for the price in SF I guess. The burger itself was almost the size of a whopper jr but with more meat. The quality of the burger is great but the size is a bit disappointing. Waffle fries were standard, nothing super amazing nor bad.

If I could just buy 2 burgers for the price of the burger & fries I'd be more than happy. That said, even with the but of criticism I'd go back again no hesitation.“

“This is a really fantastic new Korean BBQ restaurant. The service was both warm and incredibly prompt, which really made for a pleasant experience. While the short ribs were a little bit on the sweeter side for my liking, the pork belly and chicken thighs were absolutely perfect. I especially loved the really crispy chicken skin!“

It was a team event so we requested a prix fixe menu and budget control. The restaurant was very responsive and go above and beyond to help us with the arrangements. The menu options was good. It was a birthday dinner for a large group. Pizzas and pastas were very good except ragu. Steak was under seasoned. Calamari sauce was great.

“Stopped in to Newell's for a pre dinner drink. We just kind of stumbled on this place. How does one know where to get a good cocktail when you're an out of towner!?
Well let me tell you about Newell's.. The bartender was fabulous! She wasn't even sure what a certain drink was but she more than nailed it! It was right on! My Cadillac margarita was potent! I managed to wobble out of there to my next destination.. but barely! They do not serve food but our sweet bartender brought popcorn in order to save me embarrassment! It was a fun experience and I think I may have to return!“

“Super cute rooftop. Pizza one is one of the best pizza I've ever ate. The rooftop smash cocktail is now my favorite drink. I took a picture of the ingredients and made it at home ‍ that's how good it was. Definitely coming back. The customer service was outstanding. “My son took me here for lunch - we’d been meaning to try it. We were very pleased - amazing view with tiered tables so other guests aren’t blocking the view. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious and nicely presented. As a nice addition, there was a pianist playing while we dined which added to the ambience. Atmosphere and service were nice, but unless I was going out for breakfast specifically I probably wouldn’t go back.“
