“Japanese food restaurant. Small inside the airport.
Well Japanese themed, with long tables for groups and sturdy, low chairs that could be safe for children.
They have dishes, ramen and sushi. As well as a variety of drinks.
There is an outdoor area where you could go out to eat too.“

“I had pretty low expectations for a sushi place attached to a La Quinta, but this place was spectacular. The fish was fresh and prepared well, the presentation was very nice, and sitting at the sushi bar was a cool experience. Service was a little slow, but they were absolutely packed with customers. It's not hard to see why. I've paid twice as much for sushi half as good. This place was excellent.“

“This restaurant has it all. The food is outstanding. If you want pancakes that remind you of the pancakes that were so delicious and cooked to perfection by your Mom, Peter's is the place to go. You want a REAL fresh cooked hamburger and cooked to your likes, Peter's is the place. I've eaten hamburgers in alot of restaurants. No one and I mean no one makes a hamburger that comes anywhere close to Peter's hamburger! I can't make a hamburger that good in my own kitchen and believe me I've tried. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Great place to have breakfast or lunch with a friend and not be rushed. Peter and his staff makes sure each customer feels special. The portions of food allow you to have another meal at home. My friend and I can't say enough good things about Peter's Cafe. BEST CAFE IN MILLBRAE!!“

“The kebabs were so good, I don't think I've ever had kebabs that even came close to these. We came in kind of late but they were still friendly and served us a lovely meal. The hummus was flavorful and had depth, usually garlic is overpowering but not here. Even the dressing on the salad was delicious. I wish we lived closer.“

“3 of us came here for dinner earlier this week. My husband found the restaurant on Yelp! and it turns out to be one of our friend's favourite restaurants in the area.
We ordered the following dishes:
- Gal Bi Jim - My husband would not stop talking about it. The sauce was rich and flavourful and the short ribs just melted in your mouth.
- Dolpan Bibimbap - The rice was perfect;y cooked with a slightly crispy bottom. The portions of rice, meat and vegetables were very well balanced.
- Han Sang Guk Bap - The best part of the noodle soup was the broth. It was so tasty. I had every last drop of it with my side purple rice.
- Yuk Hwe - I'm usually impartial to beef tartare but it was better than some of the beef tartares I had in Paris!“

“My faves are the pecan waffles and all the omelets😋 but the service is stellar. Our food gets served to us so fast, it's like they read our minds and started cooking before we even decided! 😎“

“All 13 of us thought the food and prices were good. They didn't have enough iPad tablets so our large party had to order on two, and when they brought out large platters of sushi, we couldn't tell what was what or if they made it all.“

“The seats in the restaurant are comfortable, the place is clean, and the waiters are attentive. It has a Hong Kong-style teahouse style, and the food is of average quality. The company's sandwich menu has a Hong Kong feel, including garlic fried chicken wings, baked pork chop rice, and stir-fried beef river. I think the milk tea doesn't have enough flavor, there is room for improvement. This is a restaurant I will visit again.“

“Get the Portuguese / Hong-Kong Style Egg Tarts. It is the flagship item in the store. It tasted like a master pastry chef has been perfecting it for decades. Crust is buttery flakey and the filling hits every note on your palate. Additionally, I also got a Pineapple bun and Steam Bun with Black Sesame. I wished the bun was a little fluffier on the inside and the black sesame bun had more even distribution of the black sesame paste for the size of the bun. Service was great and hospitable on a busy Saturday morning. I look forward to trying more items from the bakery. Please make sure to bring cash for any purchase under $15 to help the business with credit card fees.“

“Location, it’s like a little hole in the wall. However, their pizza and pasta was not bad. We ordered a margarita pizza and the Hawaiian pizza. Pizza is not my favorite since I am lactose intolerant however it was not bad. I had 1 slice of each and it was delicious. We also ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Their portions are huge so we had a lot of leftovers.“

“I travelled from Riverside County to come eat at this restaurant and have heard such great reviews about it from my relatives and friends who live all the way in China! It was worth the drive and we will definitely be back again. Each dish is unique and they also have gluten free options as well as requested options. (My f5 year old is Gluten free). The bamboo and mushroom dish had a hint of sweetness with an undertone of spice, the Chong qing 🌶spicy chicken was mouth watering, along with the eggplant 🍆 dish, dry stir fried fish, and glass noodles with pork! I enjoyed every dish and my kids enjoyed their shrimp fried rice dish and greens as well. Our family is a foodie family and we love ❤️ traveling far and near to try dishes from around the world. The Chef came out and greeted us and was So kind. The staff was very attentive and friendly with our children. I would highly recommend this establishment. Thank you!! 🙏💕😁“

“Came in for a meal at 8:10 pm. Staff made us feel welcome even though we got there close pretty late for dinner. Tried their wings for appetizer. Chicken was cooked perfectly and extremely juicy. We tried the Bulgogi beef and seafood rice pots. Both tasted excellent.“

“Delicious skewers on top of the already good hand pulled noodles. We went there enough times that we got the gift card which also makes this really good value for the money.
Other good dishes are the meat pockets. So far didn't find a dish we regretted.“

“The best tasting Mexican food ever! I always order their Cabeza De Res burrito. Very few Mexican food trucks sell cows head. But this taco truck introduced me to this very flavorful dish. Please don’t hesitate to give tips, they always makes me feel so happy with their “piping hot foods” and free crispy warm nachos.“

“Sungandh Indian Restaurant, tucked away in San Francisco, offers a nostalgic dining experience with a menu that truly delivers on flavor. I recently visited and, while the food was a definite highlight, the overall experience left me with mixed feelings about the restaurant's potential.
Let's start with the stars of the show: the food. The Butter Chicken Masala was nothing short of amazing. The chicken was tender, and the sauce was a creamy, rich, and perfectly spiced dream. It's a dish that lives up to its reputation and is a must-try for any butter chicken enthusiast. Similarly, the Paneer Kadhai was outstanding. The paneer was soft and fresh, and the vibrant, aromatic sauce was packed with the right amount of heat and spices. Both dishes were clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients, showcasing a kitchen that knows its craft.
Unfortunately, the culinary journey hit a slight snag with the Mango Lassi. It was, to be honest, a bit average. It lacked the rich, thick consistency and vibrant mango flavor I typically expect from a good lassi. It was drinkable, but it didn't quite complement the stellar main courses as I had hoped.
The service was decent, though a little lackluster. Our server was kind and attentive enough to our basic needs, but the service felt more transactional than genuinely welcoming. There wasn't a strong sense of hospitality, which is often a key ingredient in a great dining experience.
The most significant area for improvement, however, is the restaurant itself. Sungandh has a very old-school feel, and not in a charming, vintage way. The decor is dated, and the restaurant is in serious need of a refresh. More critically, the lack of a proper HVAC system was noticeable, making the interior feel stuffy and uncomfortable. A much-needed renovation could transform this place from a hidden gem with great food into a truly top-tier dining destination.
In summary, Sungandh Indian Restaurant is a place you go for the food, particularly the exceptional butter chicken and paneer kadhai. The kitchen staff are clearly masters of their craft. However, be prepared for an experience that feels a bit rough around the edges. If they can invest in a much-needed facelift and elevate their service to match the quality of their cuisine, Sungandh has the potential to be one of the best Indian restaurants in San Francisco. Until then, it's a great spot for takeout or a casual, no-frills meal where the flavors are the main event.“

“A very solid Chinese restaurant in the area! I really love their lettuce wraps as well as their hand pulled noodle soups! The atmosphere is basic but it gets the job done very well. The tables and cloths are a little worn. Service is very friendly and the waiter can make good recommendations!
Parking: Parking here is extremely difficult as there is not much street parking in front of the business. Do not park in front of the liquor store as well as he can threaten to call the tow truck. Either park out back of the business or find somewhere else and walk.“

“5/5 on everything. And it's so affordable.
The roasted duck is excellent (get a side of rice), very fatty and juicy. The noodle soups are great - I especially like the hot and sour noodles. The congee is also on point. It's become one of our favorites!!“

“This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in California, it literally won an award for that. I myself am Chinese and this was so GOOD. We ordered the fish in chili oil/sauce and it was perfectly cooked and the flavor was so good. We also ordered beef soup noodles, my kids ate it all and also some dumplings that my daughter ate all of.?Overall very good place. I approve.“

“I recently dined at The Super Burrito in Millbrae and was thoroughly impressed. While I didn't try the burritos, I highly recommend their fajita tacos. The steak and chicken were both incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. I also sampled the 'Super Taco,' and it was a feast for the senses! It was generously filled with delicious ingredients and was surprisingly light for its size. The restaurant itself has a lively and casual atmosphere, making it a great spot for a quick and satisfying meal. I'll definitely be back to try their famous burritos next time“

“I went to eat here with a friend of mine. He told me that this is a good example of traditional Cantonese food. I was not familiar with Cantonese food and he described it as Chinese comfort food. Kind of like food that you would go get at your Chinese grandmother's home. I don't know how accurate this is in the grand scheme of Chinese food, but it seemed accurate to me. It was Saucy and tasty and kind of like beef and gravy that I would get as a kid at my grandmother's house. Definitely different than most Chinese restaurants that I have had in my life. I recommend giving it a try. The place is no frills, but the service was great and the staff was super friendly. Take a bit of time to look at the menu. They have a lot of things to choose.“

“The Guo Bao Rou (sweet and sour pork) is abosulutely phenomenal! Its probably the best in the SF Bay Area. The flavor is perfectly balanced, not too sweet. The batter is perfectly fried and crispy, the meat to batter ratio is amazing. Tastes great, can't stop!“

“I have been here many times, and it’s been awhile since my last visit. This is usually where I go when I am in the area and in the mood for Pho Ga (Chicken pho). They open early for breakfast and have some special sets you can order, such as a rice noodle set, a porridge combo, sandwich set and a noodle soup set meal. Their menu also consists of pho, rice plates, pho ga, etc. They are known for the Pho ga, which is hard nowadays to find a place that serves authentic pho ga. In the morning in can get busy due to the breakfast rush and for the reasonable prices they offer. I was told they open even earlier on the weekends, so please plan accordingly. I highly recommend this place to anyone craving for pho ga, want a great breakfast spot or just so happen to be in the area and is not afraid of trying new things. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.“

“We had one of the best experiences last night. Tim our waiter was one of the best we have had. He was able to find Sprite Zero for my wife's drink. He also delivered a warm chocolate chip cookie with a small scoop of ice cream for my wife even though it wasn't in the menu. His ability to go above the call of duty and not just say no I can't get that for you was so amazing it had to make sure it is recognized. Exceptional service needs to be acknowledge and rewarded. Thanks again Tim for making our night! Oh yeah by the way the food was very good too!“

“Our family enjoys eating at Naked Fish in Millbrae. Their sushi rolls and bento boxes are always delicious. There are many options to choose from between the menu and their daily specials. Their food is presented well and amply portioned. Their service is consistently good and the servers are attentive. Whether we eat a late lunch or dinner with family and friends, we always leave this place full and content. My only criticism of this place is the location. Because the gym is directly above it, more specifically, the weight room, you can hear the weights dropping on the floor on certain occasions and it’s distracting. However, because we enjoy eating here more than anything else, we tolerate the noise on the few instances it’s happened. There is ample parking around, both on the street and in the parking lot next to it.Overall, I recommend you try this restaurant if you’re in the neighborhood.“

“Yan Peninsula, a renowned Chinese restaurant, stands out for its exceptional quality service, captivating atmosphere, and delectable cuisine. The restaurant’s beautifully crafted ambiance enhances the dining experience.
The Chicken Feet with Black Bean Sauce serve as an ideal appetizer, offering a harmonious blend of textures and delectable flavors. The Spear Ribs with Black Bean Sauce are distinguished by their optimal seasoning, avoiding excessive saltiness. The Shrimp Dumplings are a true culinary delight, characterized by their thin and flavorful wrapper, bursting with shrimp goodness. Despite its unconventional appearance, the Siu Mai with Shrimp Roe is surprisingly flavorful and enjoyable. While the Beef Rice Noodle Rolls are delectable, the overall experience at Yan Peninsula is truly exceptional.“
