“It was a nice spot to just eat and chill for a bit. Me and my brother just came off a roller coaster of flight and emotions. So we were pretty hungry. Wanted breakfast so this was our only good looking option. It did not disappoint with the food being delicious and our server Gloria was the best. She made sure we had our condiments before our food came out and made sure everything was good for us. She was very attentive towards us and was such a sweet lady. Would recommend if you’re at the airport.“

“What a fabulous evening, we all unanimously agreed that Pasta Moon is our new go to dinner spot when we are in Half Moon Bay. The food, service and ambiance were perfect and the Roasted Chiogga and Golden Beet Salad was amazing.“

“A cute little restaurant with a lot of soul and delicious food!! The woman who served us was really nice, the place is very clean, the menu has a variety of options and there is a really good vibe.

My husband ordered the basil fried rice with a moderate level of spiciness. He loved it, although it was still a little too spicy for him. Next time he will ask for less spicy. I ordered Kao Moo Dang and it was delicious! It is sweetly spiced and there is also a sweet and slightly spicy sauce that comes on the side. To finish, we ordered an egg tart. I could eat it every day!

Overall, we both enjoyed it very much and there are many more options that I want to try. We will definitely be back!“

Friendly staff, wine and beer, tonight there was live music on the patio area. Max the owner is a wonderful host who is very active in the San Bruno community. Atlas is bringing good times back to down town San Bruno. Make it one of your first post pandemic stops!“

“Gillian & Gina run a beautiful business. My favorite thing to do is to make a reservation and bring friends to get the traditional Afternoon Tea Service. They also offer a more casual walk-up menu. This menu includes assorted Tea Sandwiches, Scones served with Clotted Cream and Preserves, Crumpets served with Meyer Lemon Curd, Assorted Sweets and a large variety of Loose-Leaf Teas. Everything is delicious. Also this past year they have been generously hosting Pop Ups for local makers. They also have lots of treasures for sale. Lovey's is a wonderful place.“

Service and atmosphere were average, so it’s a fine place if you’re craving hotpot but not necessarily a standout destination.“

“My son and I YELPED for Mexican food.Good Mexican Food, and decided to give this place a try. I had the Spicy Shrimp Plate, and my son had the Steak and Spicy Prawns. They also provide Tortilla Chips and a Salsa Bar. The guy who cooked our food, knows how to cook! My shrimp was absolutely a balance of green/red peppers, onions, in a slightly sweet, savory and mildly spicy sauce. The Rice was done just right(not dried out).The Black Beans, were tender, with just the right amount of salt. The Iceberg lettuce and sliced radish was cold, fresh and crispy— Served with a dollop of sour cream, avocado sauce; a slice of tomato and sprinkle of Mexican cheese top the salad - it did a nice job to balance the heat of the main course. “This took me far too long to write, but I wanted to find the right words to say. My husband and I had been waiting two long years to get married. We postponed twice because of the pandemic and in the course of that time changed our venue to San Benito House. Let me tell you, that was the BEST decision we ever made. Not only is the venue itself incredibly beautiful and the food so delicious, but Kai and his staff bent over backwards for us and all of our guests. Kai is the ultimate hype guy and he took what normally would have been a stressful event to plan, and made it so easy and fun. I would (and will) recommend that anyone who is wanting a Half Moon Bay wedding, that this is the ultimate place to go. Our guests are still talking about the day and if we could, we’d do it 1000 times over just to experience the magic again. Thank you, thank you, thank you! To Kai and the incredible staff, you are truly THE BEST.“

“What a fantastic hole-in-the-wall gem we stumbled upon! We were unfamiliar with the area, and found this place was open when most other sushi places were closed, so off we went. Did not know this was a tiny 12-seat strip mall sushi restaurant, but man... it did NOT disappoint!

Everything we had from the pork gyoza, tempura, teriyaki chicken, to the sushi (chirashi don) was perfect. A+ on the fish; large cuts of very fresh sushi, and perfect sushi rice. All at amazing prices.

If we ever return to Half Moon Bay, we will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this place.“

“I love this spot! My sister used to work here while I was growing up as well as a few friends while I was in my teens. It has always been a peaceful place to draw, read, catch up with a friend, and sip coffee with a snack. They have changed ownership a number of times and always retained good quality! From time to time a man will come in and play piano on the out of tune wooden one. Mostly 60s-early 80s music, he knows all the lyrics too! The landscape artwork by Pam Anderberg is really phenomenal and matches the coastal energy of the cafe. Couldn’t speak higher of a cafe in Pacifica!
The line can be a bit overwhelming on weekends if there is an event. When there was a running event I think it took 20 minutes to get a coffee and muffin.

Reducing a star because of a female barista here that gave terrible service. I asked if I could order two separate single shot espressos, instead of a double shot to which she responded “take your scam somewhere else this is a small business etc.” and generally took a harsh tone. I still ordered and just got a double shot. When I gave her cash for this, she tossed the change back across the counter from my purchase which slid onto the floor. This interaction has stuck with me as I’ve never had a problem visiting this cafe before. Anytime I see this barista behind the counter I decide I’ll just have coffee at home instead.“

“Have eaten at many, many airports, which are usually bland, flavorless sandwiches or pub food, I can say that Mama Go’s food is among the best I have had in an airport. Great price, kind servers who wished me a great evening and were patient with my ordering, and most importantly — good flavor that you would expect of any restaurant quality food. Highly recommend the chicken skewer- tender and full of flavor.“
