We ordered the french style filet mignon, fried fish with corn sauce, steamed organic chicken, fish maw soup, shrimp with yau choy, and steamed meatloaf with salty fish. I highly recommend the lunch special as it ranges from ~$12.99-$16.99 and it includes soup and rice. For a Chinese restaurant, the service was above average. We appreciated the knowledgeable staff about their dishes, and great service when serving soups. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. “Craving Asian BBQ but don't really want to over-pay and under-eat? This is the spot for you! This Taiwanese BBQ is a self service spot. Get your chunky butt up and pull plates of meat, veggies, desserts from the freezer! Don't forget the butter!

The unlimited rice, porridge and soup helps fill what the meats don't.

The meat here is pretty basic. It's thin cuts of maranaded beef, pork, chicken, lamb, etc. Not the highest quality, but you're paying $4.99 or so per plate. Whether you grill or hotpot, you're charged for what you grab.

They have happy hours here too where you save like 15% or so! Definitely some cheap BBQ eats. Great for groups. Very interactive without overeating and without breaking the bank.

I went today with my senior parents of (group of 3) and our total was $41 after tax. Insane in 2025! If you want to go ham on the protein, maybe do a AYCE KBBQ.

My only complaint is everything is a but sticky from the bbq smoke. Definitely wear some clothes that are ready for the wash. Not a first date place. More like a go in your PJs as a fun date night after the fact. Cheers.“

“Visited Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle for the first time this weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The restaurant is located in the plaza on the corner of Atlantic and Garvey, with plenty of parking.

The menu is simple and straight forward. You start by choosing the desired soup base (bone broth, tomato, hot & sour, spicy) and then the protein offered under your desired soup base. If you wish to order additional toppings; there is a list of add-on you can pick from. The restaurant gives you the option to order using the QR code taped on the table or with the staff member. Soon after placing the order, they bring out the toppings to the dish, which consists of your desired meat, lettuce, generous portion of rice noodles, tofu, ham, green onion, seaweed, wood ear mushroom, corn, egg, etc. Lastly the soup base is served and you add the add all the toppings to your soup.

I ordered the tomato soup with sliced brisket; love the strong tomato flavor in the broth. If you are a tomato lover, this is the soup base to order.

“Bigggggg portions! Bring your stomach! We came at a random time and the auntie who works there was there to work! She's immediately recommend the dishes and the add-ons. Despite our language barrier, she quickly took our order and the food came out fast. We ordered their signature rice noodles with medium spicy level, which is perfect. “This place is great. The food is pretty good and service is kinda slow at times but on rare occasions. I usually order the Beef Upgraded Soup and it doesn't disappoint me. The price for it is kinda on the expensive side due to inflation. The atmosphere feels a bit crowded since they do have lots of seating but in a small restaurant. “Me and the husband went here for the first time. We chose the premium as we didn't like any of the meats or broths in the prime option. I ordered the sukiyaki broth and the native chongquin Mala. The Mala was very spicy as soon as I got it. I removed all the chilies, and it was still spicy but delicious. I started mixing both broths to balance spiciness, and it was delicious. They have a self-serve buffet with many options, and the meats are ordered at the table. My favotire was the pork belly, shrimp and the fish filet. My mouth is watering just thinking about it ?. “My first time enjoying HotPot. I was included with a party that rented a private room upstairs- delicious food and excellent service. These rooms are spacious for private parties. I had never tried snakehead fish. I was fresh and my favorite of all the fresh sliced meats.“

Along the way, we dined at everything from Michelin-starred establishments to small mom-and-pop restaurants. By the end of our trip, everyone in our group unanimously agreed that our experience at Tensho was one of the absolute highlights.

“Nice 2 Meet U has reopened after renovation and the space feels noticeably better than before. Brighter cleaner and much more comfortable to sit in for a full hot pot meal. Ventilation is also improved so you do not leave smelling like hot pot which is a big plus.

Food quality is solid and familiar but with clear upgrades especially the meat. They now offer more freshly sliced beef and you can really see the difference. We ordered several cuts including hanger steak spoon cut snowflake beef and beef tendon. Everything was sliced fresh nicely presented and cooked very quickly in the broth. The beef was tender clean tasting and did not rely heavily on dipping sauce.

Skewers are still very affordable at 0.49 each with options like spicy marinated beef chicken gizzard and beef enoki rolls. There is also a good selection of small plates and braised items. Small plates are 5.99 each and include tripe seaweed beef tendon fish tofu shrimp paste meatballs abalone and more. Everything looked fresh and was easy to grab.

Do not skip the fried rice. It comes topped with a runny egg and is very flavorful. It ended up being one of the most memorable dishes of the meal.

Overall this feels like a strong comeback for a spot many people already liked before. Better environment more choices and improved quality while keeping the pricing reasonable. Definitely worth revisiting especially if you enjoyed this place in the past.“

“Very nice small restaurant selling specialty noodles and some side items. The potato noodles have a firmer texture, kinda like soba, the soup was delicious. Chicken bone was also very good. There was an old couple working there, very friendly. Price was reasonable, highest it goes was $13 for the house special noodle. Overall a great place to try something new and unique.“
