“I first visited this amazing local deli in 1989-1990. I remembered the half loaves of bread stacked high with a pile of my choice of meats and cheeses. Although I was only 18-19, Compagno’s established my standard for an amazing sandwich. 32 years later I brought my sons here for lunch. Same delicious goodness a generation later.“

“Can't recommend this place enough. From being greeted by the hostess to being seated. Our service was amazing and attentive. There are plenty of beer choices. As you will see in the pictures from a dark brown to a hef.
The wings are smoked with a dry rub. I can't explain the flavor except unique. The wings were huge.

“We ordered our lemon raspberry wedding cake with buttercream frosting from Parker-Lusseau Pastries, and it was everything we dreamed of — absolutely delicious and beautifully made!
From the start, working with Anne was a wonderful experience. She was extremely responsive via email and made sure all of our requests were fulfilled. The team was so accommodating and ensured our cake would be ready and perfect for our special day, which gave us such peace of mind.
Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how good the cake tasted — light, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweetness.
Side note: Their almond croissants are incredible — we’re obsessed. We’ve already decided to come back on our one-year anniversary to pick up a mini version of our wedding cake and relive the magic of that day.

“Our family ate at Duffy’s Tavern & Family Restaurant and we were blown away. The burgers and fries were absolutely delicious, and the beer was cold, fresh, and exactly what we were hoping for.
The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in, and the whole place had a relaxed, comfortable vibe. Best of all, when the bill came, it was about half of what you’d expect to pay at a comparable restaurant for the same quality of food and experience.
It’s just a bit off the beaten path, which we actually loved — we were able to park right out front with no hassle. We highly recommend Duffy’s to families and to anyone who appreciates a good burger and a great beer.“

“Amazing selection of beer for both draft and cans to-go. Can purchases are for consumption off the premises only as stated on their signs. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors. It's really cool they transformed an historical train depot into a brewery, right by the ocean in Monterey, CA! They don't serve food, but the food trucks at the outdoor patio was excellent. It was cold in the winter, so they were able to turn on the heating lamp by our table for us and kept us warm. They seem understaffed, so just wave someone down if you need to order more. However, they do come by often enough to ask for another order if your glass is empty or getting empty;.“

“What a great little restaurant! We happened to find it after we didn’t want to park a half mile away to go to a local place on the wharf. The service was impeccable and the food was excellent. We started with crab cakes then the beet salad and finished with the Seafood Pasta. The cream sauce in the pasta was epic. They grill the bread before bringing it out, sooo good. We were visiting from LA on our anniversary and they were so kind to give us a complimentary cheesecake dessert. My wife loves bread and they even made us a fresh batch to go, with our leftover salad. Can’t recommend this place enough. Do yourself a favor and get over here soon!“

“I’ll offer a better than expected review. Our party of five went for Sunday brunch. 1/2 wait for an outdoor table. Excellent Southwest eggs Benedict; chicken fettuccini; fruit salad and Cinnamon toast special with eggs. Chocolate Oreo cake for dessert. Excellent service for a relaxing Sunday. “We have been going to Heirloom Pizza a few times a year for a while now and have always enjoyed great food and good service. This was until last night. The food was still delicious and the server was good. That was the limit of a good experience. The hostess had a look that we were bothering her by wanting to eat there. We arrived about 7pm and they were busy, but it only took about 10 minutes to be seated. We ordered fairly quickly and then waited for over 50 minutes to have an appetizer to reach our table and another 25 minutes for our main dish. By the time we received our appetizer the restaurant had only 5-6 tables with people still sitting. We understand that it takes a little longer for a deep dish pizza, but well over an hour in unacceptable. In the 50 minutes we saw no less than a dozen or so orders go out the door for pickup orders. I understand they sell pizza and there is likely a large amount of business that doesn't come an stay to eat, but we felt forgotten. If we choose to go back, maybe we should order before arriving.“
“I've lived in the area a while now and finally found this great winery tasting room! The staff was super friendly and the wines were very good. I especially liked the Pinot Noir, I have a weakness for a good Central Coast Pinot! I also enjoyed the Grenache and Barbera. We tried a charcuterie board which paired very well with the wine, the spiced pecans were amazing. We will be back!“

“Gloria the owner was such a breath of fresh air in the world today! Her restaurant feels like a cozy welcoming home.
The gyro sandwiches were so delicious. I highly recommend the hummus/babaganoush 10/10!!! Turkish coffee was a unique experience. We also enjoyed a fun game of mancala!

“I’ve never heard of Puma Road wines before; I was walking with my dog and I was surprised that dogs are welcomed. The places had live music, very welcoming towards families. I simply tried one of their Pino Noirs which was ok. I decided to buy a bottle of their Tanat, which I just opened to today and it was outstanding…I definitely will purchase some more“

“Stopped in for lunch as we were walking around the downtown area. Clean, aesthetic atmosphere. Incredibly delicious burgers. Everyone in our party of six chose a different option. I had the Sur mushroom burger, absolutely delicious. Another in our party got the Phoenix Chicken Sandwich, incredibly spicy and yummy with a family recipe of hot coleslaw that was amazing, but definitely not for an amateur palette. Be prepared for the level of heat lol. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend for a great family lunch spot.The fries and mozzarella sticks were so delicious as well.“

“Our visit to Stoke's Adobe last weekend produced the best meal I've had on The Peninsula in a decade! Restauranteur, Sarah Orr, has hit one out of the park. The dishes prepared by Executive Chef, Bryce Hansen, were flawless, my favorties being the seared scallops and truffle chicken. Loved the nod to former occupant and socialite, Hattie Gragg, with the inclusion of the Hattie's Old Fashioned on the cocktail menu :) Looking forward to our next visit and an opportunity to sample other items on their ever evolving menu.“
