“We were visiting a friend in Moraga and stopped by for dinner. Based on the recommendations, we ordered seafood soup, salt and pepper fish, and asparagus chicken. We were very pleased and all the dishes were excellent. Service was wonderful and attentive. Highly recommended.“

“I love this place! My boyfriend is gluten free and they have a lot of options for him. Most of the burritos/wraps can be made into burrito bowls (making them gluten free). I like the variety of wraps they offer (Thai, Mediterranean, BBQ) along with the traditional Mexican dishes.“

We had been eyeing Fowl and Fare for a while, and finally stopped in, and wow, we were not disappointed. Hands down, this was one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. I ordered the Black Garlic and my husband went with the Classic, and both were fantastic.

I’m usually really picky when it comes to sauces, and I never like coleslaw, but I decided to try the sandwich as it was intended. I'm so glad I did! The slaw actually added to the flavor without being overpowering, and surprisingly, it’s the only coleslaw I’ve ever liked. Even better, it didn’t make the sandwich soggy at all, which is usually my biggest complaint.

The homemade pickles were also a standout, super fresh.Every element of the sandwich felt thoughtful and well-executed.

“the older lady is extremely rude. we were looking at the menu and told her we needed more time to order. and as she was walking away she said “oh my god. what are you reading? a bible?”. shes rude every time we come in, no manners and always slamming stuff on the table. dont get a job in customer service if you have an attitude 24/7.

“Amazing vegetarian Chinese food. The fried “chicken” was close to normal chicken for me. Mapo tofu also slapped and the fried rice was hearty and delicious. Staff were really helpful and kind as well. The soup was very peppery, so just be read for that. Highly recommend it :)“

“This place makes the absolute BEST Fougasse! It is olive-y the duck fat it’s made with makes it, crisp, light, and perfectly moist. The crusty outside is lightly salted to perfection. Their pastries are also exquisite, I haven’t had anything I didn’t like, but I ALWAYS come for the Fougasse! Best to get there early when they are nice and fresh and warm and before they sell out!“

“The food here is always on point and the service is top class, we dine here at least once a month and we have always had great service and food the only issue I have is I feel like the restrooms are often neglected with so much traffic I feel like someone should be cleaning those at least every 30 minute to an hour that is actually my only issue with this place. i do realize its only two small restrooms and the place is always packed but even when its nto packed the restrooms still need some attention.“

“We go here for take out quite frequently. The service is always warm and friendly and the food is delicious. We're vegan and are quite happy with the vegetarian platter. The ONLY reason for the 4 stars is because they recently switched to plastic take out containers. I really preferred the compostable containers because they did a good job of sucking up a lot of the oil.“

We got the chicken biryani, garlic naan, and chicken tikka masala. The biryani is one of the best I have ever had in the US and the garlic naan was perfect and fluffy but crispy. The chicken tikka masala was creamy, not overcooked, and well seasoned. The best Indian restaurant we went to in East Bay. Would come again.“

I had the vegan tantan which was listed as a spicy dish so I was concerned that it'd be too hot but it was perfect, a little kick but nothing you can't handle if you have a low spice tolerance like me. It was delicious, creamy and SO filling. Highly recommended! They have a virtual queuing system where you put your name and number down and it texts you when your table is ready. You can watch where you are in the 'queue'. The wait was approx. 45 mins so we grabbed a drink elsewhere in the meantime, very efficient!“
