“Got the super tacos and the Ramen. The beef taco was just insane. The flavor of the beef was unmatched. The soup was just as incredible. I dumped my remaining sauce from the super tacos into it and it just melted in my mouth with that fall apart beef. BEST damn Ramen I've ever had.“

“My son and I YELPED for Mexican food.Good Mexican Food, and decided to give this place a try. I had the Spicy Shrimp Plate, and my son had the Steak and Spicy Prawns. They also provide Tortilla Chips and a Salsa Bar. The guy who cooked our food, knows how to cook! My shrimp was absolutely a balance of green/red peppers, onions, in a slightly sweet, savory and mildly spicy sauce. The Rice was done just right(not dried out).The Black Beans, were tender, with just the right amount of salt. The Iceberg lettuce and sliced radish was cold, fresh and crispy— Served with a dollop of sour cream, avocado sauce; a slice of tomato and sprinkle of Mexican cheese top the salad - it did a nice job to balance the heat of the main course. Everything was well executed. The overall indoor atmosphere is very clean, simple and no frills. Love their neon menu signage. And, their prices are reasonable. Thank you for the delicious meal. “The eatery is conveniently close to Highway 1. The inside space is appealing, the cuisine is expertly cooked, and the servers are attentive and amiable. Although the restaurant's interior is small, there are benches outdoors. There were also restrooms. A pleasant setting for a holiday.“

“Deep fried burritos! It is listed under burrito/chimichanga on the menu. We tried one steak $12.25 and one shrimp $13.25 deep fried burrito. These were wonderful. All this time, I'm eating non-deep fried burritos when there are more variations. The tortilla was fluffy, easy to chew and the ends were the best part. It wasn't oily at all. Our appetizer was a super nachos with carnitas $12. This was huge. We were both full walking out of there.

La Paoma was busy at lunch on a Wednesday. Service was excellent. The food didn't take a long time to come out. Free chips and salsa when we sat down. This is a fun restaurant that will put you in a good mood the rest of the day. Thank you everyone at La Paoma.“

“HOLY COW!! This taco truck is fantastic. Ate here 5 times and everytime hit harder than the last. The ladies running it are super nice and helpful. The tacos are so tasty (may need a little more meat) and made to perfection. The gordita is a force to be reckoned with, bursting with flavor and so worth its weight in gold. All around great food truck... can of diet coke $4 was the only meh moment for me.“

While I miss the salsa bar, a casualty of the pandemic, it was heartening to find the tacos tasting just as delicious as they did six years ago during my recent work trip. “Food was good and the service was great. We rolled in 20 min to closing and so did quite a few other people and they were nice and didn't rush anyone which was nice. I had the chili relleno dinner and my guy has the barbacoa plate. The salas bar was fresh and delicious and the fresh churro was good.“

“Good taco salads here in their San Bruno location. It was $11.29 + $2.49 for the added steak. That crispy flicky taco shell revivals the best of them. Free chips! If you want to mix it up, their mango salsa is a very unique La Salsa thing. They tend to get rid of the mango salsa during the holiday season though. Plenty of seats and service was excellent for a counter ordering restaurant. The cashier is also the chef.

About La Salsa, I used to visit their SF Battery St. location near my office in the 2000's before they closed. Also previously in the 2000's, I used to visit their Mountain View location every other Saturday before going to Fry's Electronics. Their food is healthy if you order the right things.“

“Our go to place for Mexican food! They serve the best tacos and burritos. They also have hard shell tacos. My favorite order is their carne asada that comes with rice, beans , cheese, avocado, grilled onions and tomatoes, lettuce, and tortillas. The servings are very generous and everything is tasty. We always order chips to go with our meal. They are open from 11am until late at night, so it's very convenient to grab a meal here.“
