“Great, relaxing spot for a glass of wine and conversation. The wine list has a nice range of familiar and unusual varietals. The proprietor listened to our preferences and offered several tastes for us to select a couple of glasses. Simple menu of cheese boards, etc. to help soak up the wine!We’ll be back to this nice spot in Moss Beach!“

“Stopped in for coffee, a very kind gentleman agreed to sit with my 11.5 month old Golden Retriever outside. Nice woman behind counter said my dog was welcomed in, my dog doesn't have enough manners to go inside, yet!
Ordered an Americano, kind woman asked if I'd like an ice cube in coffee, as it was way too hot to drink. Glad she was thinking as it was perfect!! Still hot, love LOVE my HOT black coffee. Without the 1 ice cube, I would have to wait for caffeine consumption!
The other woman behind the counter was making a beautiful bowl.. not sure what it was but it looked delicious!!!! Going back this week to try !!!

The gentleman that sat with my dog volunteers with human society and he educated me on the correct walking leash for my dog and informed me of puppy classes!! Super grateful, as I just moved from Detroit!

“This is a charming coffee shop just a minute's walk from the beach. It has two floors with plenty of seating, and throughout our visit, there was beautiful live piano music playing. They also offer some specialty coffee drinks. I really love this place!“

“The atmosphere was pleasant and quaint. We ordered the three eggs scramble with Dutch baby and the North African shakshuka. The scramble was delicious, the Dutch baby was decadent, the shakshuka was really good but watch out for the whole peppercorns. Highly recommend the jet pilot drink. It was phenomenal! All in all a really good experience.“

“The food here is good and so is the coffee. They offer açaí bowls, breakfast options, and a bakery that is completely Brazilian. So if you’re Latino and want to try something different from the usual spots, this is a great choice. The dishes are very healthy and while this location doesn’t have an espresso machine, so coffee options are somewhat limited, what they do have is tasty.

If you’re planning to order by phone, make sure to call ahead as it can get pretty busy and your order might take a while. Overall, it’s a good café, affordable, flavorful, and a nice break from the typical spots. If you’re in the mood for something non-traditional, give it a try.“

It's made to order so expect to wait a bit longer for it compared to the dishes on their storefront menu. They even have vegan bubble tea! Both were great to bring on the plane when I know there's not in plane options.“

“This place is an absolute gem.
A work colleague and I dropped in here for breakfast on a whim, and oh boy, I wish I knew of it sooner.
I'm from the UK, so as soon as I walked through the doors, the decor was fabulous and gave me that american diner feel.
The staff were super, and the food was out of this world. I HIGHLY recommend the lemon blueberry pancakes.. I dream of them. The breakfast egg sandwich was the best I've ever eaten, fresh ingredients made with love and care.

The restaurant was light, airy and super clean. The bathrooms were even decorated beautifully and had fresh boquets of flowers.

Every part of the experience was thought through by the owners. The bill even came in a winnie the pooh book! So cute!!! 1000% recommend a visit here, you will not be disappointed and if I am ever lucky y enough to be in tebatea again I certainly will be making a stop.“

We postponed twice because of the pandemic and in the course of that time changed our venue to San Benito House. Let me tell you, that was the BEST decision we ever made. Not only is the venue itself incredibly beautiful and the food so delicious, but Kai and his staff bent over backwards for us and all of our guests. Kai is the ultimate hype guy and he took what normally would have been a stressful event to plan, and made it so easy and fun. I would (and will) recommend that anyone who is wanting a Half Moon Bay wedding, that this is the ultimate place to go. Our guests are still talking about the day and if we could, we’d do it 1000 times over just to experience the magic again. Thank you, thank you, thank you! To Kai and the incredible staff, you are truly THE BEST.“
