“Went there today! Ordered the #6 Samoan corn beef which it wasn’t more like Libby’s can brand! Can tell your difference. It was so dry and little to no onions. So disappointing.. ordered 3 containers of poke and it was all packed in a flimsy, cheap plastic bag. It broke underneath the bag grabbing it from the handle picking it up from the car floor. Thankfully and luckily the containers of poke didn’t open, that smell would not have been great at all! The poke was great closest thing we have here in SD compared to back home in Hawaii. Would not recommend the #6 but poke yes!“

“San Diego staple and great place for a good California breakfast. This location got their liquor license over COVID if you want breakfast drinks with your breakfast ??‍♀️ however the service is always outstanding even when they're crowded and the food is always hot just like the coffee!“

“We went here for the first time yesterday for lunch. The line was out the door, which meant it had to be tasty! We ordered pork adobo, chicken teriyaki, pancit, and lumpia. They gave us two free cups of soup too! Oh my goodness was this food heavenly! The servings were enormous! The pork melted in my mouth. The teriyaki was so tender. The lumpia was divine and the pancit was amazing (I had never tried pancit before). The servers were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was cozy and warm. I most definitely will return and I encourage everyone to eat here.“

“I absolutely love this restaurant! They have my favorite pho and beef stew and veggie soup. The ingredients are always fresh and the soup is hot and ready to eat right away. I will always eat here! I order to go and my food is still hot and ready. The Thai Tea is sweet and delicious as well. This place was super helpful when I was sick and wanted soup, very comforting.“

“I love the food here! It's a South Bay staple. The salt and pepper wings are the favorite, they never disappoint. We also ordered Mongolian beef, cream cheese wontons, and the orange chicken. Everything was on point. Also, the service was excellent. Our server was attentive and kept our water full. You won't leave hungry if you order a family meal. I can't wait to come back. Eat up!!!“

“So delicious. We ordered 3 pupusas alone with no sides. Beans and cheese, mixed, and chorizo with cheese. All delicious. We also had a corn tamal and it was amazing - fluffy and sweet. Service was a little slow but I can’t be mad since there were only 2 servers and the place was packed. I don’t care for atmosphere as long as the food is good, this is a small place in a strip mall. It’s not going to be pretty and cute. But the food, so good!“

“On business and stayed in National City. The hotel recommended this restaurant. They were right as the service was friendly and helpful. The food was really delicious with generous portions! Had a relaxing meal and even some leftovers for the next day. You will not be disappointed if you stop by here! The restaurant is a little older, but clean and well laid out. “This place had very good food!!! I went with my boyfriend today and it was 1hr away from closing so there weren't a lot of people. The waitress there served us quickly and the food came out quickly too!!! I forgot what my bf ordered but it was some beef & broccoli noodles? That are pretty crispy on the edges!!! Omg it was so yummiiii!!!! And then I got the shrimp tempura udon for about $10!!!!! :DDD I got the noodles themselves in some stone bowl then a plate of fried vegetables and 4 shrimp tempura!!!!! The fried vegetables were carrot, zucchini, and potato!!! It was a lot of food for a very good price!!!!!! :DDDDD you should go here if you'd like to eat some cheap Japanese food!!! ???“

“First time going here was for my son’s 18th birthday. He was the one who requested it, believe it or not. The buffet package was a great deal! We even got free fruit desserts & soup! The DJ was great in keeping the karaoke going. If no one wants to sing, he’s the one singing. So all in all, great staff, great food, great entertainment, great space and ample parking! “I inhaled the food before I could take any photos. The chicken katsu musubi was amazing. Super crunchy and the meat was mouth watering juicy. The bbq combo was also great. The meat and rice portions were generous. Im not going to L&Ls now that I know this place exists.

Parking: Theres a lot of parking but the lot is packed on the weekends.“

“This place has always been a long time favorite of mine. I originally discovered it when I used to work in the area many years ago. I no longer work nearby and don't exactly live close by either, but still go out of my way to make the occasional trip.

That says something considering I must pass by something like 100 other Mexican restaurants on my way there.

Everything I've tried on the menu is good, but do yourself a favor and get the mulitas If you haven't tried them already.“

“Good place to have breakfast, very little space to park and the waitresses need to pay attention to who came in first to take the order since they sat us down and served 4 tables that had come in after we took the order from two tables next to each other and we did nothing so they need control over that“

Urger I had a gift card with enough on it that red Robin gave me months prior due to a screw up back in Arizona but the mgr had sent me a virtual card months before I saved it for Ron's bday so I the bill for this birthday was the goat of 2 sodas and a tip for the waiter total of 7.45 to or the drinks and 10 to or the waiter tipping him 22 percent of the whole bill so along with Ron's free burger my gift card for 20 bucks we had a night out for his birthday for less than I could made two tv dinners thank you red Robin for being their for Ron's day and night out we appreciate everything you did to make his night incredible we see u ass gain in July for my birthday hands down best birthday in awhile cheers July 4 we be back thanks again

The combination of quality, freshness, and breadth of pastries—not to mention, price (<$1 each)—cannot be beat!“

“I'm from the east coast, where this chain is most popular. And I'm so glad there is at least one location in San Diego. It is the best chicken teriyaki plates I've ever had for less than $10. I go out of my way, about 28 miles, just to eat here, at this spot, in a mall food court. Willingly.

Parking: It's at a mall so parking can be difficult but no worse than any other busy mall.

Kid-friendliness: This location is inside of a mall food court so it's perfectly suited to bring your loud kiddos that can't sit still.
