“Anytime I visit Southern California, I always take time out to go here. The staff were friendly and the chocolate banana is amazing, and so is the hippo cookie. The merch is a good price, I would recommend this dessert/bakery shop to my friends and anyone who hasn't been there yet. Mouse pads are $7 and a coaster is $5.“

“These are the best Balboa Bars on the island. They use premium chocolate that’s a mix of milk and dark chocolate, and they have premium ice cream. The result is that these are a lot better than the Balboa bars at Dad’s Original and the Original Frozen Banana Stand. We have tried those other places many times and they’re also very good. But if you’re ready to graduate, walk a few steps down to Too Sweet - you won’t regret it.“

“I recently visited a bakery and tried their croissants and brownies. Both were incredibly moist and flavorful. The croissants had a perfect flaky texture, and the brownies were rich and decadent. Highly recommend this place“

“We grabbed a cinnamon roll straight from the oven at Balboa Island Baking Company, and it was everything you’d hope for, pillowy soft, warm, and delicious. The icing leans on the sweeter side, but it totally hits the spot if you’ve got a sweet tooth. Cozy little bakery worth stopping by!“
