“We have been going to Horses ever since they opened since it’s right in our neighborhood. The most friendly staff with a big shout out to Amanda. The most amazing craft cocktails and absolutely delicious food. I think we’ve almost tried everything on the menu and have not been disappointed once. Can be hard to get a reservation, but we usually get there at 5:15 and are able to sit at the bar with no problem.“

“I like this place. They have a great wine selection and their charcuterie and small plates are delicious. The Marcona almonds are well flavored/seasoned. The olives are also well-marinated. Their meat board contains delicious selections of cured meats and cheese with some sweet jam. All of these items pair nicely with their Chilean red, which is a reasonably priced and tasty bottle. I've only eaten inside but they have a nice patio in the back. The inside is dim and cozy. This is a great spot for a date night or a night out with friends. It's not cheap by any means, but they deliver solid service, food, and wine. Enjoy!“

“Where do I start with how much I love this place? As a photographer it's a joy and a delight to be here but even without the fact that I've worked there many times... The food the decor, the staff.. if you get a chance to meet Eden Alpert you're lucky. Always kind.... And you'll notice that she's probably having the best time of anyone. The music and the performers are top-notch. It's not uncommon to see some of the top names in jazz.. however don't be surprised if you see Seth MacFarlane doing songs from Sinatra or an Amy Winehouse tribute. Sound mix is even and the perfect volume. Highly recommend the Caesar salad with a plate sized parmesan crisp and the mini ahi tuna tacos and save room for the hot chocolate cake. Food is top of the line and jazz club is elegant and upscale. Can't wait to eat and shoot pics there again soon.“

This is the best I've had! Bitter and sweet balance exquisitely - not brusque. Crispy Potatos - Well done, but makes you wonder if size is right. Close to being a french fry - but large! Crispy outside, soft inside, well seasoned. Mildly curious aioli pair well. Not perfect. Maybe needs another sauce? Seared Hokkaido Scallops - Scared green curry would overpower delicate scallops, but texture remains in tact. Curry pulls out creaminess. Delicate, but flavorful. Warm and clean. Scallion paratha is so necessary to give heavy depth! Cheesecake - Yooo!! Creme Brule is my fav and this is rivaling it! Bright and tart while velvety with deep. Not heavy! You'll regret not getting. Martini - A must every visit! I love olives, but tried lemon this time and loved how big of a difference it made! Excited to try gibson/onion next!“

“I love this place! It's such a nice hidden gem. It's practically a treehouse restaurant. There is nice seating overlooking the canyon. Both indoor and outdoor but I prefer outdoor. It's got wonderful views and a perfect blend of nature. The menu is priced on the higher end but the food is so good. I had a rasta pasta and it was delicious. Our server was so friendly and kind. “I would think that they have same ol' same ol' okay food, but it's genuinely delicious. We had the katsu burger with fries, honey truffle fried chicken and two drinks (hh menu). Everything was really good. The chicken was so good and crispy. The burger was so filling and loved the coleslaw in the burger. I came on a Saturday evening before happy hour ended at 6:30pm. I tried the katsu burger with fries and enjoyed it a lot.“

Possibility of being installed on a terrace which is heated when it is cold, there are even a kind of fire pit for grilling marshmallows, to discover the tradition of the famous s'mores! Very nice ! The decor and all that are homely there's a very comfy patio where you can see the smoker and you feel like you're back home smoking it up. “Didn't want to be stuck in traffic for over 2.5 hrs to get home, so I decided to come here and grab a drink, watch some games, and let the traffic die down. They have minimal parking on the street but a large parking lot to the back. I was the first one here for at least an hour, which was really nice. They got televisions all over the place. So no matter where you sit, you get a good view of the game. They got some upbeat music playing loudly over the speakers. Some real head bangers!! Got me tapping my foot and bobbing my head!! It's somewhat dark, but well lit with all the neon signs and tvs. The booths were also really comfy. The waitress I had was amazing. Super nice. Checked on me frequently, since I was the only one there for a while. Very conversational. Great at small talk, so thanks. Knew the menu well. They have daily happy hours of beers, some food. And being a Tuesday, it was taco Tuesday!!!! Tacos were $2.50 each. I ordered one of each and they came out early quick. Feels like the ones you get right off the streets of LA (in a good way). Lots of protein. Packed with toppings. Double tortillas. More sauce on the side. They were all really good!! I had a couple of their beers. Had one on tap, an IPA, as well as another one in a bottle. Vibes here are really cool. It was nice just to sit back, kind of put my feet up and chill. Everyone was super nice. Upon request they can turn on the volume of any of the games. Unfortunately, someone requested the soccer game to be played on blast. Which killed the music. But I had been there a good 1.5 hrs by then, and I guess that was my cue to leave. And it only took an hr and 10 min to get home, mission accomplished!!“

“A delicious diner in the valley. It’s one of the better diners in the area which is already full of great and historic diners. It feels like you are eating in someone’s home. I would classify this place as a classic country style diner. The sort of place where locals lineup to have their daily meal and there is always a revolving board of specials. They have a fairly large menu with a ton of options on it and service is very fast. Our waiter was also really polite and we were checked in on many times by many different employees. They have a small parking lot attached to the front of the restaurant, otherwise it will be free street parking in the neighborhood behind.As mentioned, the menu is pretty large so it took me a minute to decide which dish I wanted to order. I ended up choosing the Eggs Alla Fisdale because Eggs Benedict is my favorite breakfast dish. This one is unique because they use a cheddar cheese sauce, which basically tasted like a cheesy hollandaise. It was honestly delicious and really made the meal. The eggs were cooked perfectly and I loved it. We also split a Banana Pudding for dessert and it was good but nothing special. We ordered some Caramel Lattes to begin our meal, and they were very tasty and strong. I would recommend them.Overall a delicious diner with fair pricing and free parking. “Before visiting, someone mentioned that the place is owned by armenians and are very rude. We were a bit reluctant visiting at first but decided to give it a try. Not disappointed at all rather we were impressed by the cleanliness, friendly staff and amazing food. The prices are very good. I got two huge tender tacos with fries for $13 something and my husband got tenders. In $30 we has so much food that we had to pack and take it home. Also got a complementary chicken tender from the owner. Such a kind and welcoming gesture. Their lemon pepper chicken hits different! We are happy we visited this place and we'll be back soon. 10/10 recommended.“

“I was in a part of town I rarely visit & played "Yelp roulette". I rust type in "highest rated" in current location & see what looks interesting. I'm glad I found CF Food Kitchen. It's a fairly nondescript restaurant with a simple interior in the corner of a small pod mall. It was "Wellington Wednesday". Other items looked great, but I've never had beef Wellington, so I figured, "Why not???". It comes as a three course meal plus warm, perfectly crusty bread. I picked lobster bisque which was very rich, creamy and lobster-forward even without many (any?) lobster bits. I took the desert to-go. The key lime pie was solid. The Wellington was good, not great. The pastry was kind of doughy & the mushroom duxelles was fairly flavorless. Luckily the beef loin and Demi glacé were excellent. Also the dollop of whipped mash was great with the Demi glacé and a few small veggies. The roasted gold beet was small, but the star of the veggies. The server was amazing: warm, welcoming, caring and knowledgeable. I hope I'm back in the area to try other items. They definitely focus more on the food than the ambiance, though.“

“MY FAVORITE LA BAR!!! My review is loooong overdue as I've been coming here for years. I've moved further South on Ventura but I still manage to come to what I feel is my home in bar form. I'm a woman who loves mixology and good bartending and most bars are extremely male centric. TLP is great for women and men. It wouldn't surprise me that many women love this bar. You will hear everyone mention "the feel" of the bar and it's because they seem to consistently hire AMAZING BAR AND WAIT STAFF. Kudos to management for keeping such excellent consistency. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME..I come to the bar I sit at the bar and get an INCREDIBLE convo from the bartenders. They always serve me the most fantastic drinks and make me feel like a FUGGIN QUEEN. “I usually do the drive-thru and take my food home since I live only two miles away. As for the food, it's In-N-Out Burger, so nothing more to say really. The burgers are amazing and can be customized to each patron, the fries are good as long as they are hot so eat-in if your live further away than three or four miles. I love their pink lemonade and their shakes are very good as well. It's the best burger in town, hands down! That makes for a logistical problem, because the drive-thru lane can have somewhat of a wait. They have the system down, so that buy the time you pay at window #1, your food is available at window #3 and your'e on your way. Inside the restaurant is clean and the people are friendly and helpful, but the atmosphere can be a bit noisey during the peak hours which are the obvious--lunch-time plus/minus 1-2 hours and the dinner rush which is from about 5pm to 9pm. Those times will extend even later, after Magic Mountain switches to their summer hours. Around May 15 they change to daily operation with closing still at 6 or 8 pm depending on the day. In mid-June they switch to their summer HOURS which means that In-N-Out Burger will be busy after closing (9-10 pm). The new location close to Magic Mountain Parkway will handle some of the crowd, but those in the know will still likely head a little down the freeway to the location just off of Lyons Ave./Pico Canyon (yes, they are the same street, it just depends on which side of Interstate 5 you are on). Well, there you have it, and probable more than you ever wanted, but In-N-Out is a great place for a burger, fries and a drink. While you can customize your burger and fries, and choose your drink, there's nothing else on the menu. Easy peasy! The good news is that you don't have to decide what your'e going to have, but choosing that drink does catch some people off guard. There's also an area outside to eat which is much quieter and DOG FRIENDLY!! For those who don't know, you can order burger patties for Fido and enjoy a meal with your best friend. Just keep a watch on YOUR burger and fries, lest they disappear! Restrooms for both humans and dogs are neat and tidy, and Fido's outdoor restroom even has a view (albiet Interstate 5). We really enjoyed the feel of the place and all of the people that we encountered were very friendly. The food was fairly average for what we had. I should say for what I had my wife really did enjoy the three taco plate. I had the cheeseburger and I would give it a c. I had ordered it medium rare it was on the more well done side of medium. And I felt that the bread to meet ratio was not very good. We will be back however we have been to other granville's and like the food in general.
