“My boyfriend and I went here on a weekday to try the Green Matcha Danish, Strawberry Croissant, and Popeye Egg-Bacon Spinach. Everything tastes amazing! Our favorites are the Popeye and Strawberry Croissant. The ambiance inside the bakery was really nice and everything is so clean. Also, the staffs were really nice! Would recommend!“
“Let me start with I saw the promoted ads for this all over the place for the past 3 weeks and I kept wanting to try it but Moorpark was out of the way for me. I had a work meeting this morning and figured why not ill get it for everyone. As for thinking about it for the past three weeks and the hype growing, the bar was set high in my mind. The food was absolutely amazing. The bread is soft as can be and the interior ingredients were warm as well. The bread is AMAZING. I cant wait to go back. If you havent been here yet, you need to go ASAP. I also got a buy one get one free card for it being my first time and they have a rewards tracker to get more free stuff! Green salsa tastes good but the orange hot sauce is phenomenal! Its almost like a twist on Tabasco! Wish I would have got more of those! Will definitely be back again soon.“
“Love love love Ferretiz Grill! They have the best California Benedict! The staff are really personable, and they tend to recognize you only after a few times of going. I've noticed they remember most of their costumers, which I find really sweet. The waiters are also so kind, great service. Really homey feeling place, and the prices are good for what you get! Feels like a hidden Simi gem.“
“What a pleasant surprise! I went to little calf for lunch and let me tell you this place is GOOD!! They make their own potato chips and maybe the bread it was so crispy and light. The service was excellent and staff were very friendly. I highly recommend!“
“We live quite a distance from this cafe, but if we get a chance we will drive all the way here for delicious Taiwanese food. I love how the owner remembers us over more than 10 years. :). She is so sweet and remembers her customers. We especially love the popcorn chicken with veggies, egg, and rice. Boba is delicious too! There is a little gift shop there with things that are handmade. There are lots of tables in there.“
“We had a girls day plan go to Moorpark and this was on top of of foodie list. I had been planning to go to Calioh for months. I invited my amigas to come with! I love their concept and what they stand for. I live in Oxnard but did not mind driving down for great coffee! That iced horchata latte was heavenly! The Latin pop that was playing , awesome. I love that they have touches of Mexico all over ! I am Mexican and I loved seeing their decor! The Mexican inspired drinks are awesome. I had been searching for a great horchata latte! Nayeli , JC ,Lucy had the best customer service. I just wish they were located closer so that I could visit more frequently!“
“Found this amazing Boba spot in Thousand Oaks! I had an intense craving for some jasmine milk tea, with boba of course. So I googled the nearest spot from where I was on the 101 back from Calabasas. Had no idea this existed but I'm so glad I found you! Found my new boba stop on my commute home. So many unique & delish flavors that the owner encourages her employees to come up with to feature each month. What a great way to get employees engaged! Cute little spot.“
“Andy was absolutely amazing. He took care of us and did everything he could to make us feel welcome. The food was delicious, especially the falafel pita. He went the extra mile to offer us sides and coffee. We felt like we'd joined a friend for dinner.“
“Haven’t had some great breakfast food in months due to being deployed (military). First stop back home, Jerry’s Coffee Shop. Breakfast food hit the spot! Jerry’s is my favorite place in town to get breakfast and the people there are very nice. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend you go. You won’t regret it!“
“Wonderful place on the beach!! The breakfast spot is different than the brunch & lunch. The service was excellent. All the servers are kind, gentle and polite people and everyone was serving every table, there was no difference at all .. it was an absolute true meaning of "TEAMWORK". The food was also very delicious. The carrot cake was phenomenal also the chicken sandwich, that we wanted to save it for later as well! This place is a definite "Yes" !!“
“The Lucky Dog Cafe is my go-to coffee place in Simi Valley. The staff are wonderful, friendly and proficient. The coffee is outstanding, the baked goods are tasty. There is good indoor and outdoor seating in a very pleasant atmosphere. The lucky dog is pet friendly, and even though I don't own a pet, I enjoy having the occasional dog around. I highly recommend it.“
“Ok so I am pretty new to the Thousand Oaks area and have been on a hunt to find a great coffee shop. I’ve made a list and have tried a good amount of local shops but to be honest haven’t been too impressed compared to trying coffee in the deep of LA. I was craving a smooth expresso for some reason this Saturday night and decided to continue my search and figured I’d give California Coffee a try. It was a little hard to find because it’s tucked away in a cute little alley next to brewery’s and beautiful lights. I tried my classic iced vanilla latte and my barista who I didn’t get his name (had a pretty impressive beard) asked me how I liked my coffee which I have never been asked before. This coffee was elite, super smooth, and velvety. I LOVED IT. I will definitely be coming back and thank you to the kind bearded barista that made me such a great latte. Definitely come here if you are a coffee snob like me and looking for amazing expresso, a cute atmosphere, and superior service. :)“
“Carrara’s is one of my favorite places to go to! It’s one of the most authentic Italian cafes I’ve been to out here. The coffee is so good and the pastries don’t just look pretty, but they’re actually delicious. Everyone who works here is so nice and goes above and beyond! I wish I knew everyone’s names but from going there as often as I do I can honestly say Tallin, Danica, Alir, Sarah and really just the whole staff is so sweet and they make you feel so welcomed! Alir makes some of the best lattes I’ve ever had and Tallin decorates the foam on the lattes and the desserts in a beautiful way! I love everything about this place and would highly recommend :)“
“We went on a Sunday during the farmers market around ten AM. Our first time visiting. I ordered the cloud surfer coffee which tasted lovely and had the tuna sandwich. It tasted good but was dry. The fruit was excellent and the Tajin was a nice touch. My friend ordered the special berry toast which was slightly burnt. My sister ordered the scramble with no onions. It had to be remade because they included onion the first time. She's allergic. Most of the employees were thoughtful and kind. My sister burnt her mouth on her Chai. She told the employee with long blonde hair and glasses that the drinks are too hot and she got burned and the employees response was "yeah it's hot". Later she brought our other drinks to the table, and not only didn't greet us, but didn't even say which drink was which. She didn't say a word. Dropped the drinks and left. This is the type of employee to run your business into the ground. I wouldn't want her as my coworker either. I'm gonna give her the benefit of the doubt and say she was having a bad day. All the other employees were super helpful. I want to come back to try the tacos. Sitting outside is super nice. There's a QR code that you can order from and they bring your food to you. Super convenient. It is very busy at noon and parking is a mess due to the farmers market. Good for bike riders, families and yes you can bring your dog and sit outside. Thankful for this vegan cafe, despite the one person trying to ruin it for everyone else....“
“We tried several items on the menu and all were amazing. Blueberry muffin, pizza, avocado toast with salmon, fresh made baguettes and chocolate croissants. Meet the owner and she was so sweet. Even though she was busy, she stoped and chatted with us. Totally recommend this restaurant.“
“Chagaccino was 8$ wow .. It was overpriced but at least a good one.Lots of seatings . Great view !!Keto Tiramisu was devine - p.s. I need the recipe ahhww i could eat it every day! (Pricey as well for my taste at least - but seriously I need the recipe , someone contact me!!) ?Vegetarian options: Keto , High protein options“
“Popped in tonight for a last minute treat as it was my son's 6th birthday. He was wearing a birthday crown and Walter came out and treated my son like an absolute king!!! He made him feel so special and even gave him 2 cookies on the house! That never happens in this town. Thank you, Walter, for your exemplary customer service and delicious cookies!!“
“Jennifer is amazing and so so sweet! Best coffee i have had in a while and the amazing customer service made my day even more. The coffee bar is connected to a yummy diner which makes the ambiance very homey and comforting. If youre nearby definitely check this place out! :)“
“There's always going to be the mixed reviews of places. But based on our experience, it was great. Still early for the dinner rushed as it was right about happy hour. We got seated right away in the bar area. It was our first time here so didn't know what to expect. Once seated, we did noticed the restaurant part. It was that busy and only another couple was utilizing it. But the whole bar counter was full as well as some of the booth where we were seated. Staff were amazing, very friendly and attentive. The lady that took care of us was awesome, didn't remember her name but she was great. Checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and if anything else was needed. Also, it happened to be a day where one of the alcohol founder was there. He walked around giving samples which was great. We even had a cocktail made from his liquor. Food wise, we had the calamari which was quite good. Portion wise was pretty plentiful. The fish and chips were great. Instead of the chips, we opted for the tater tots. And the chicken Parmesan, very filling. A good portion on both the pasta and chicken. Service was great, food was good and the whole vibe was amazing. It's a cool spot that we happened to find on Yelp and glad we stopped in. Also, had to send the place out to a couple of friends who would definitely love it here. The whole ambiance and vibe was great.“
“I have wanted to try The Baker's Daughter for a while now, but they are closed on my days off from work. Today, the stars aligned, and I was able to meet some friends for breakfast. All I can say is wow! I can't wait to go back.Everything looks so delicious and inviting. I ordered the Green Eggs & Prosciutto Tartine and a lavendar latte. The latte was perfect. The lavendar flavor was very subtle but enough to give the latte a nice flavor. My tartine was delicious. The flavors of the pesto, ricotta, prosciutto, and egg blended beautifully together. The sourdough bread was the perfect base. My friend ordered the Croque Madame and was very pleased with her order. She commented that the flavors melded well together. I also ordered some Pao de Queijo, which is a small cheese roll. It reminded me of something I had in Argentia called chipá, which is very similar. These were cheesy and delicious. I would go back just for these alone - they brought back memories of my time in Argentina. The service was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and made sure we were taken care of. You order and pay at the counter, and they will bring the food to you. There are some community style tables you can sit at inside and a few tables outside. They were baking and selling bread consistently the couple of hours that I was there. Each day, they have different breads available. Their Instagram account is a great place to get all of the info you need about what is available. There were also different pasties and cakes to choose from. They were baking fresh croissants when we left.Like I said, I can't wait to go back. This is such a lovely little bakery in Simi Valley that I hope sticks around for a long time.“
“As an Italian from NYC who grew up on the best pizza in Queens (Rosa’s), this is likely the best pizza in California, similar to a favorite of mine that closed in El Segundo - the Grimaldi’s pizza chain from Brooklyn. They have a great special before 4pm weekdays, $20 for a pizza pie and 2 real Italian ices. They however need to put in a major renovation on the seating area. Un frost the windows and add new booths and TV’s.And a minor issue they don’t toast the bread on heroes, something I never experienced before. They also need to set aside parking at the Italian ice store beside their place.“
“My first time visiting Firehouse Cafe this morning. I got the California omelet with refried beans and biscuits and gravy. Food was good and the waitress was super friendly. Will be coming here again in the future. Would like to try lunch here.“
“Great spot! I think they're Persian / Iranian. Would be great if they would add some Persian breakfast items to their menu and make the ambiance nicer. Also if they were open till late night it would have been a plus for everyone in Simi Valley who's looking to hangout somewhere late nights.“
“This restaurant is excellent. I ordered the jalapeño omelette and it was delicious if you enjoy spicy food. Jess and Wendy are attentive and constantly check to make sure you have everything you need. The service is fast and efficient, ensuring you are always well taken care of. Thanks“
“This place is a hidden gem! It is hard to find a breakfast place that isn't overpriced in this area. The service was fast and the breakfast sausage burrito (the only thing I've had here) is good! It comes with pico de gallo and there is a station for a variety of hot sauces. For $9 plus tax, this is a good find!“
“This is a nice cafe inside of Four Seasons. It's in a nice area. Only bad thing is parking, unless you do valet - which is not ideal if you are just ordering a coffee and a pastry and leaving. The service was quick and friendly each time I went (2x on the same day). The drinks are good and reasonably priced. The chocolate croissant was good. I would try it again when I am in the area.“
“Wow wow wow. Went to a Halloween party catered by Monrose. It was so fantastic I had to call the host and ask who she hired to do the food and she said Monrose was always amazing. I concur!! They served mini pizza appetizers, two types of pasta, meatloaf and so much more in a decadent, melt in your mouth comfort food spread that delighted meat eaters and vegetarians alike.“
“First time. I was pleasently surprised .. restaurant is in strip mall but dont let that fool you. A variety of food at reasonable prices..I had a salad and it was fresh and delicious..I will definitely fo back and try theirs special plates. Nice neighborhood place. Give it a go!“
“The best customer service. I’ve had in a while I was legit in shock lol Matt throughly explained everything to me. So I knew what was going into my meal. I got the Elvis and it was delicious. Their shakes are meal substitutes that are packed filled with all the nutrients you need also low in sugar. They also have almost no sugar energy drinks as well that are also loaded in good nutrients. Definitely a fun and refreshing way to stay healthy. I hope they get to expand ?“
“This is one of my favorite midweek places to have a quiet business or personal brunch or lunch. It just feels like one of those places that would be attached to a resort hotel, without the hotel. It's out of the way so almost no tourists, it's super chill and a great way to take advantage of our beautiful weather.Very polite staff, nothing fancy, just beautiful mountains, lots of natural greenery and a bright pretty indoor area with a fabulous fireplace in inclement weather.I absolutely used to go crazy over their Curry mango chicken salad, I wish they would bring that back. Good for sandwiches, light salads, eggs. It's a fairly small menu but easy to find healthy enough options, as well as traditional hardier brunch selections.“
“K wave. You must come here one time.Cafe's atmosphere is comfortable and it made me calm down.It is a good place to read books or do something with your laptop.I strongly recommend you to visit here.I found a good place to enjoy as like I had enjoyed in South Korea.Enjoy other food, especially Bing-su (snowlike ice powder with any toppings)I should try it next time.“
