“I love the concept of this establishment. Went in for slices in the after hours and found a very fun place to spend time with good music, a very curated space, friendly staff. I really appreciate a wood burning oven, and I found the pizza dough to be excellent. The margherita topping was also great, with the right amount of fresh ingredients, and the grated cheese on top never hurts. I’m taking 2 stars off from the food category however as I admit I came in expecting perfection from a restaurant with 6 people dedicated solely to making pizza, but the slices that we got were all overly burned on the bottom and I found the salt a bit excessive. I will still definitely go back and look forward to trying the special pizza.“

“We’ve always been thin crust pizza fans, have never tasted authentic NY style pizza, though we have had Napoli-style pizza several times in Rome, and we gotta say, the crust here is AMAZING!! The only slight change that I think would make it taste even better is if there was a bit more salt in the dough. Other than that, the bottom of the pizza was crisp, and the crust was airy and crisp with a slight chew. The crust was so delicious that we saved all our uneaten crusts to bring home for later, could not bear to throw them away (unlike other, more bready crusts). 😆 The pepperoni pizza was our favorite (so flavorful), with the sausage being a close second. The margherita was nice with the fresh basil, but could have used a sprinkling of salt. Our younger son really wanted to try the corn pizza, but we could only manage to finish 3 pizzas with our family of 7, so he has already declared that this will be his pick for his birthday meal, and that he will be getting the corn pizza. 😆 Wish it were closer to us (we live around 30 mins away), but it is not too far for special occasions! From where we live, comparatively, Mountain Mike’s and Porky’s Pizza Palace would be rated 2 or 3 out of 10 and Spinning Dough would be 9/10! Would totally buy it frozen if they offered that, it is that good! Was also a treat for the kids to watch the owner (who is super, super nice!) toss the dough and assemble the pizzas. “I have been looking for an authetic New York Pizza in the East Bay for a while. Many have attempted, many have failed. But Bloom has come the closest I’ve seen — Cheese was excellent, sauce tasted right, and the crust was crispy. The only thing I have to say is that the dough is a little bland, so it’s a bit boring to eat the crusts. But all in all, a fantastic pizza. Would I pay the prices that they charge in New York? Not at all. It is a bit overpriced. Also, I wish pizza shops here would put out oregano alongside the red pepper flakes and parmesan. This would bring me great joy and back to NYC in my mind. I can tell they really are trying hard with their pizzas and have to give them immense credit for it.“

“I have always really loved the pizza here! It’s unique and delicious and always fresh. That being said, I recently ordered a pizza to be delivered through DoorDash. DoorDash had a mix up with my order and a driver took my pizza but didn’t deliver it. This has happened to me before with a door dash order at a different restaurant and it was never refunded because DoorDash is impossible to communicate with. When I called namaste pizza, I was frustrated and was expecting the same outcome. The staff were so patient and kind with me despite my frustration. They quickly got a new pizza out to me, which, of course, was delicious and fresh. The staff were compassionate with me and also the door dash driver. I was a loyal fan of namaste pizza before this experience and my love is cemented by 1000000%.“

“Hoza hands down has the best vegan chicken wings I’ve ever had. They’re made in house and I believe they are seitan. The sauces slap especially the carolina gold but honestly love them all. They don’t do the whole sugar cane bone like some high end vegan restaurants but personally the flavor and texture are so good I don’t think it’s missing a thing.The vegan pizza varies from okay to good depending on what you get. Personally like the spuddy buddy the best.Recently they moved to the space next door and it’s got a nice vibe in there definitely want to check out happy hour sometime.

“Small place, but the winners for me are the salads, the Cobb in particular. I get the small Cobb with blue cheese dressing mixed in, and it's a great lunch salad with plenty of protein to keep me satiated for a while without having extra carbs and for a good price. I like that their hardboiled eggs are never overcooked! I dont really like pizza(even though I've made thousands of pizzas at a few jobs), but my kids always get a small, and they love it. “Oh all the varieties of Pizza and Pasta! You must come back and try it all! Went there on a weekday dinner without reservations, and got seated instantly, thanks to the sweet staff. While ordering, fresh focaccia was served in a easy pull apart form. The staff was nice enough to tell us all the specials and recommendations. We decided to order a Pizza (Guido), Eggplant Parmiagania, and Pappardelle Bolognese. Each dish was uniquely delicious, couldn't pick a favorite. Portions were perfect for three people. Super tasty and flavorful. They sell Mole Cola, the Coke-cola of Italy, only much better. The staff and service couldn't be any more outstanding. You can also tell the food was good when they're constantly getting Uber/ Door dash orders. Love the restaurant/ Italian store look. This place could be easily crowded during weekend dinner, but still great for parties more than 2. Try also their cocktails and dessert. Their canoli was a chocolate kind! Definitely will come back and try their different pizza and pasta flavors. Street parking only. Memorable dinner.“

“It seems to be a small ma & pa pizza shop, small lobby with a couple of tables. Their pizza was amazing. We ordered one of their listed pizzas & added a few extra meat topping. You can go wrong with their pizza, very tasty. Next time I am in Oakland, California, I will be ordering 2 pizzas, one to eat & one to take with me home.
