“My partner and I were pleasantly surprised by the veg options here! I got the harvest salad bowl (vegan version) and he got the portobello burger. My bowl was hearty and delicious! There was also a cauliflower steak on the menu that looked very tempting. I’d be happy to return to try it. Updated from previous review on 2026-02-01“

“We've eaten several times at Six Peaks Grille over the years and the food, ambiance, and service keep getting better. The beautiful location looking down Olympic Valley with the impressive lighted fir trees set the stage for a great dining experience. Usually, the beef and seafood selections as well as the pasta are fabulous. This time however, we had an incredible food and wine experience with unique dishes paired with singular wines from less known regions such as Piemonte, Abruzzo, and Puglia. We've done several wine pairing meals at restaurants around the world and this ranks top tier for quality and price. Even without the wine-pairing meal Six Peaks Grille is becoming the go-to luxury dining experience in the Palisades Tahoe area.“

“This restaurant is fantastic! Lukas was one of the best servers I have come across. They have unique and flavorful twists on traditional Scandinavian dishes. And the manager Jeff sources local foods. The ahi appetizer in cones was a recommendation from Jeff and did not disappoint. Our Schnitzel was fabulous and so was the elk pot pie. It was quiet at the time we happened to be there so we got to chat a bit. We learned that the owner’s daughter is the pastry chef so we had to try the cheesecake. Also delicious. It was just a great dining experience.“

“The best part of this restaurant is it's environment and it's dog friendliness. We always go with Ares our JRT and you often see other dogs, on the patio. Food is good too, but I actually like my own cooking of quality meat in general.“

Decent place to chill and relax if you're hanging around the nearby beaches, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back here.

“My husband and I went for dinner and were so surprised at the quality of the drinks and food. Each item we had was delicious. We had the soup ( cream cauliflower) , and the basic salad . It was full of veggies and slivered almonds as well as pickled jicama. I had the 10 ounce filet which was seasoned beautifully and done just right over a bed of spinach and potatoes. It was surrounded by a fabulous sauce of mushrooms. My husband had the pork paparadelle that had spinach noodles, onions, and tomatoes in the sauce. It was so savory. To top it off, we shared a delicious carrot cake that was just the right sweetness. I forgot to mention the martini was perfect and the nonalcoholic drink that was made for me was the best I’ve ever had!! It was a fantastic meal!“

“I ordered the hash browns and there was some ham in it, I’m a vegetarian so I was a little disappointed that I couldn’t eat my hash browns. Everything else was good but it’s important to keep meat out of non-meat dishes. Although, the staff was very nice and took it off the bill. Would recommend for breakfast.“

“This is a good place to stop and have lunch during your Northstar ski experience. However, I can't give it five stars because the prices are at least double the normal cost. That applies to everything sold here. Options for vegan or vegetarian guests are very limited. All that aside, it's a nice ski lodge, and the food is fine if you like burgers, fries, pizza, chicken tenders, etc. Lines are usually short, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is clean and tidy.“

“Great place rode the gondola up from North Star village. Our server Max was amazing! Food was great, atmosphere amazing. Definitely good place after a long day of skiing kids loved it too. Drinks were amazing too. Don’t let the negative reviews scare you off. Definitely come here and enjoy good food, drinks and atmosphere. It’s pricy but it’s the Ritz sooooooo.

Kid-friendliness: My kids loved it. They also know how to behave in a nice restaurant.“

Branzino was perfectly cooked - maybe needed a tad more salt.
The steak was more than perfectly cooked medium rare with crispy edges.
Cocktail was ok, not my favorite but the red wine was very good (Chianti)“
